News and Media for My Adventures With Superman

I feel like we might be getting too many Kryptonians? But about this specifically: -
😬 Eh, they still have time to change the title back to something less awkward.

Aiming for the TikTok crowd, I'm guessing. -

Aw, I like Tide's Olympic commercial; it manages to use the sports stars (who aren't actors) without being cringey:

I really hope Jimmy didn't actually give the rest of his fortune to Livewire -- please tell me he has something in a savings account somewhere! Livewire and Heatwave... kinda random? I assume we won't being seeing them again soon, since they have all of Jimmy's money now. Nice to see Mallah and the Brain again! Ugh - Waller continues to be terrible! Martial law AND (I assume) metallos!? Obviously this episode was a contrast/complement to the previous one, but I hope that there won't be much more Superman-less episodes in the future. However, I did really like that it was a Lois/Jimmy team-up A-plot; and that it was a heist episode. Aw, I'm glad Kara has an advocate in Jimmy! I'm a sucker for the 'power of love' trope, so here's hoping they use some of that to help out Clark and Kara in the coming episodes. I'm guessing this will never come up again, BUT -- so, STAR Labs, or at least Waller and Deathstroke, know that Jimmy and Lois stole the spaceship; there's no way they should be able to get away with that once they get back to Earth. (But assume they will, somehow; if they address it at all.) Speaking of open secrets: so far, there's been at least two indirect references from two separate people about Lois being Superman's girlfriend. So 1.) Lois & Superman(/Clark) should start being more careful about making out in public; and 2.) it's just amusing to me that at the same time, Cat Grant couldn't figure this out a few episodes ago!

Even before you mentioned Cosby, I was going to guess that it's most likely a music rights issue.

Trailers & New Movies: Coming Soon to a Cinema Near You!
Trini replied to nymusix's topic in Everything Else About Movies
I support Milli Vanilli getting a biopic; but I'm already deducting points because they didn't get the hair quite right. (Like, there's only two major things they're famous for; c'mon.) According to People, the surving member of the duo is a producer and consultant. Girl You Know it's True | Official U.S. Trailer -

Season is 10 episodes. Yeah, the season 2 finale is this weekend. This show is delightful; I'm going to be sad that it'll probably be a year or more until the next season. 😢 -

BTW, Supergirl (well, Kara Zor-El) is part of Season 2 of My Adventures with Superman, and similar to the Supergirl show, she also has a crush on a race-bent Jimmy Olsen. If you're unfamiliar, the show has its own new takes on Superman/Kryptonian lore, and is influenced by anime (among other things). Clip of her intro:
