  1. I liked it...especially the blue fire plot. Interesting to see more of Tuck and Ben's relationship.
  2. Love this show. The moment when the family carried JJ onto the stage was great. He looked so happy. I did miss the principal. She is very funny. Hope it gets renewed.
  3. I really liked how the show hired Schiff's real life wife, Sheila Kelley from Sisters, to play his potential girlfriend. Looking forward to Park helping Shaun get rid of Kenny. Thought it was foreshadowing when Tamlyn Tomita's character (whose name I cannot remember) told Andrews that he was acting "presidential".
  4. I thought the Donald dinner would end badly because of the girlfriend - not because of Jude's feelings about Donald, Caleb and himself. Much preferred it the way that it went down. Jude has so many reasons to resent Donald's lack of contact in the past; nice to see that he didn't take out his resentment on Caleb. Glad we were able to see Donald again before the show ends. I also like how he asked Callie about her moms. Interesting that the art professor picked up on Callie's passion being in a different area. Foreshadowing much? So glad that Lena finally told Tess to keep her business on her side of the fence. Tess is just awful. I keep seeing the black cloud hanging over Grace whenever she is on screen. The ghost banishing scene was cute; figures that Brandon would finally find an appropriate girlfriend and that she is doomed. The whole roller derby plot is odd -- but Ximena really comes off well. I hope that we find out that she has a happy ending.
  5. Loved seeing Kimmy get a new job after the devastation of not being a crossing guard due to the Reverend. I also think that the new boss is on the spectrum. Love Mikey and Titus together because Mikey makes Titus more bearable. This season, Titus has been too over the top. Like Artie a lot for the same reason - he makes Lillian bearable. Yay Jacqueline!
  6. I think that this season is definitely the best one. Making Reade in charge - and stopping the focus on his drugs/abuse - was a smart move. Roman having a plot separate from trying to kill Jane was also a smart move. I like Rich Dot Com a lot. I was on the verge of giving up on this show last year. Glad to see it has improved.
  7. Really can't stand Tess. She is showing no concern at all for her husband or her son. She has the right to explore her sexuality but she isn't 16 and has adult responsibilities. Threatening Mariana made absolutely no sense. If Tess always acted in a similar manner, it is hard to see why Stef fell for her years ago. TPTB have been bringing the emphasis back to the family, which is great. The show is so much better when it focuses on the family and not on the teenage relationships. Poor Brandon - he gets himself into these situations where he is taking care of someone else - first Callie, then Mason's mother, whose name I have forgotten, then Grace. At least Grace is age-appropriate and wasn't living in his house as his foster sister. He is even taking care of Stef at times. Hopefully Brandon will wind up with a happy ending. I was surprised that Lena didn't come down on Mariana harder when Mariana questioned whether Tess was interested in Stef.
  8. I could tell it was a Jason Katims' show after 5 minutes. Definitely reminded me of the suffocating small town, football-obsessed culture of Friday Night Lights, one of my all-time favorite shows. I'm in.
  9. CSI:NY reunion with Anna Belknap and Hill Harper.
  10. Finally catching up. Impressed that Callie went to Stef to help Aaron. Also liked the Brandon/Grace's mother scene and especially Brandon helping Stef after her panic attack. What has happened to Jude? I loved little Judicorn; not at all enthralled with Teenage Jude. Ugh.
  11. I really like Christina Chang. Hope she becomes a regular. I cringed every time that Shaun tried to mingle during the party. I liked Jessica talking with him. Same with Andrews. Still don't understand why they did the risky surgery on a teenager when all they had to do was wait a few years and it would be safe. Glad we didn't see Shaun's new next door neighbor.
  12. Finally watched. Loved Lena walking her Bad Ass Self into the school dressed for the beach. Great move and wow... Still not clear on what is going on with Stef and why Tess's questioning her sexuality seems to be a trigger. Love that the only one who is not going through relationship issues right now is Callie. What a welcome change. Not a Jenna fan although I did like the mention of her unnamed son, Garrett.
  13. Not a fan of this dark episode. I watch The Librarians for the fun and the fluff. I had to FF through the nightmare parts; just not into seeing each Librarian face their own demon. I was surprised to see Nicole - even though I was spoiled by seeing her name in the credits. Dumb. I can't imagine that Jenkins is actually dead. Perhaps Nicole loses her immortality and it somehow resurrects Jenkins?
  14. Nice to see Christina Chang in a recurring role. I hope she continues to show up.
  15. Just finished a binge of Season 4. I think this one is my favorite. I liked seeing Thomas take on the Queens orchestra and his continuing dance with Gloria. Particularly liked seeing Hailey finally able to step out from Rodrigo's shadow and battle back against choking to shine as the substitute conductor. The Tokyo scenes at the competition were interesting as well. I love Michael Emerson so it was a very nice surprise to see him pop up in a few episodes. Wonder what Rodrigo will do next?
  16. How did Mona find out that Nathaniel was having sex with Rebecca? For a moment, I was worried that Rebecca had tipped the news to Mona to get her to break up with Nathaniel. I like Beth a lot and hope that Valencia doesn't screw this up. I noticed that Heather's hair was dyed again. I thought she had stopped while pregnant?
  17. Agreed. I was hoping that the Kate-focused episode would touch on when Kate became obese. Teenage Kate was a normal weight and acted like a normal moody teenager.
  18. Who is doing the competent legal work at Bunch, Whitefeather (love it) to keep the firm afloat? Presumably Rebecca, Nathaniel and Darryl (?) are decent attorneys who can produce good work product. Tim, Maya and the other guy (whose name I cannot remember) have been shown to be complete idiots; I can't recall ever hearing of them producing good legal work. Now we have Sunil and Paula - did we know that they both actually graduated and became full-fledged attorneys? It's not such a huge firm that they can afford to carry a number of incompetent morons who can't do sufficient work to contribute to the bottom line. Also - where is George?

    S01.E03: Next of Kin

I'm not sure that I have the heart (or the stomach) to watch some of the rescues. I had to FF through the rebar through the head. Likely will not watch the plane crash as that is one of my biggest fears. Haven't seen Mariette Hartley in ages. Used to love the commercials she did with James Garner many years ago. I'm ready for there to be more of a tie between Athena, Abby and Bobby.
  20. I liked this episode a lot. Yes, Bailey's speech in the ER sounded like a PSA but so what - it is so true that patients, especially women, often have to fiercely advocate for proper medical treatment. I did find it a bit unrealistic that the cardiac doctor would fail to listen to the Chief of Surgery from a competing hospital but I guess that is the point: if someone that respected in the field cannot get correct medical treatment without resorting to phoning a colleague, one can only imagine what happens to everyone else. Many women do not know that heart attack symptoms are different in women than in men. If Grey's helped to save even one woman, great. I liked seeing younger Miranda (at different ages) and learning of her relationship with her mother. I also liked how Richard knew Bailey so well that he was able to figure out that something was wrong when she called in sick.
  21. I cringed through most of the Rebecca scenes but adored all of Heather's until her decision to carry the baby. Talk about something from way out of left field! Josh wandering into the podcast with his bag of chips seemed so weird and unnecessary - merely a vehicle to show us that Josh was now living with Hector and his mom so that Hector could move out. I agree with other posters above - why is Josh still on the show? Where was George, the semi-voice of reason at Whitefeather?
  22. This cracked me up! Stef also lost Frankie, thought her wife was having an affair with Monte, had job issues with Detective Gray, etc... All in the course of 1 year!
  23. Compared to last week, I was a bit bored. I need for the Sam is Reign plot to be uncovered more quickly. At least we had the "my friends need to take care of Ruby if anything happens to me" talk. Lillian Luthor is a great villain. Too bad that she doesn't stick around longer.
  24. Loved this season even more than the first one. I completely agree with Kostgard regarding Elena being too nerdy this season. Last season, she had a boyfriend for the dance and Carmen as a best friend. This season, they went way too much on Elena being a nerdy outcast. I hope they tone it down for next season. I really liked Alex/Lydia - Lydia and her Papito are my second favorite couple after Penelope and Max. Speaking of Max, I hope that they reconcile because he is really terrific and seems to love the kids. Loved how Dr. Berkowitz and Lydia were able to work out their friendship/relationship. Also loved seeing Berto several times. Penelope's depression episode - and Schneider's assistance - were great. I enjoyed seeing both Lydia and Schneider become citizens - and Lydia's freakout when she thought there was an issue. Penelope speaking to her mom on her possible deathbed killed me. I lost my dad suddenly two years ago and that scene was dead on point. When Lydia told Berto "not yet" - I actually cheered along with the studio audience. Terrific show - it is Season 3 yet??
