  1. Just finished Season 3. In love with this show. Teared up when Victor apologized to Elena for skipping out on her dance at the Quinces and asked her to dance at the wedding. Loved seeing Penelope's woman in white be her graduation and loved how the family was cheering her just as they cheered for Alex at the baseball game. We need a Season 4!!

    Season 01

The bomber's mother was played by Beth Chamberlin, formerly of Guiding Light. That was the highlight for me. Liked seeing Sela Ward have more air time.
  3. I actually liked this episode better than most of the others. Rich and Boston crack me up. I hope that Boston’s R and R is quick.
  4. Just watched the first episode and I'm definitely in. The music is terrific - loved the Family dancing to Tiffany. Edited to add: Episode two was not nearly as good as Episode one.
  5. I love Trent. The Honey/Eddie scenes worked well.
  6. Loved the book. Binged the series in 2 days. I thought it was very well done - with the exception of Madeline's affair with the theater guy, which was not in the book. The death scene was very interestingly done. I was obviously spoiled from the book but the way that it was done was creative and different. Francie needs to let it do - recognize the domestic abuser for the monster that he is - and let it go. I loved the end scene with the 5 women and the kids on the beach. I hope that Renata can fit into the group; she needs the friends.
  7. I cried the moment that the mom saw all of the hospital employees lined up for the Walk of Honor. I've never heard of that before and will have to Google it. What a moment! The face transplant doesn't usually look that good for a long time after the surgery, if ever. Heart breaking scene with the donor's mom.
  8. Haven't watched any of the earlier episodes. I tuned in to see Stef and Lena visit Callie and Mariana. So nice to see the Mamas again.
  9. I binged this in one day and enjoyed it a lot - although I think the last two episodes were not as good as the first. I think they spent a bit too much time on David in the vest and I'm still trying to figure out how he got out of it and eluded all of the cops. I was one of those viewers who initially thought that Julia was still alive - and in hiding for her own safety. I realized quickly that the doctors would not have told the elderly woman standing with her ex-husband (presumably her mother) that she had died if it was not true. I would watch a sequel and hope it would involve the male detective who was so cynical about David and eventually came around.
  10. I must be easy to please because I really liked this episode. Having it focus only on Catherine's surgery and Thatcher/Meredith worked for me. I didn't miss any of the ancillary characters. I am not a Catherine fan but she does have a significant connection to major characters. Even without knowing the real life origin of the storyline, it hit home for me. I also liked how Richard mentioned the use of his pen to track down the cancer. I appreciated that Thatcher and Meredith were able to patch up their relationship before he died. I particularly liked how Meredith recognized that he was dying at that moment and told him about his grandchildren as he literally took his last breaths.
  11. Mrs. Kim! Seeing her was wonderful. I thought the story with the substitute daughter was well done.

I thought of Cousin Oliver too. I love Diane.

    Season 01

Having OA's sister go undercover in the middle of an FBI operation was the height of ridiculousness. I wish that they gave Sela Ward more to do.
  14. I love Eddie's friends! We finally saw Honey and Marvin together. It's been a long time. Cracked up at Jessica calling the PTA worker "Meatball" continuously and at Jessica thinking someone would bid on a dinner with her.
  15. Keaton being the only person in the world with knowledge of Zapata's deep undercover mission makes no sense to me. I'd watch a Rich/Patterson spinoff. Nice to see Patricia Richardson again. Surprised that they didn't follow up on how the bad guys knew she was alive. Was sure that it would tie back to the son. Interesting how Jane's daughter - who was the feature of so much hand-wringing by Jane last season - is never mentioned.
  16. Glad that Dr. Lim survived! Morgan was actually a real human. I liked the OB giving Shaun directions through the glass.
  17. I just finished Lethal White by Robert Galbraith aka J.K. Rowling. It is the fourth installment in the Strike series. As usual, very well written and advances the story of Strike and Robin, his detective partner. If you haven't read any of these, start with The Cuckoo's Calling, the first book.
  18. I really like Lim. I think the character adds a lot to the show. I don’t think they will kill off Glassman because he is Shaun’s key personal tie. I’m not counting Lea because she doesn’t have that kind of history with him. The never before seen EMT is likely the red shirt and everyone else will survive. Shouldn’t there be huge concern about the air vents which go throughout the hospital.
  19. I cracked up at Villanelle with Irina - what a pair. I also do not think that Konstantin is dead - if you didn't see the dead body, no go. I'd like to see more of Carolyn and her son. That was a big reveal - and he doesn't seem to be too trusting of Mama.
  20. I live in a large Condominium in NYC. The building has handymen and a resident manager. I would call one of them to fix the sink unless the work was so extensive that it required an outside plumber.
  21. I was surprised at Kenny being Carolyn’s son. Now I wonder if his job is to report to Carolyn if Eve uncovers anything dangerous to Carolyn? I legitimately yelled when Villanelle broke into Eve’s house. Can’t believe that she has kept her husband in the dark when his life could be at risk. Really enjoying this show but I agree that you can’t look too deeply because there are some obvious holes— such as Eve not fleeing her home once it was clear that Villanelle knew where she lived.
