Finally caught the entire ep. There's no way in the world Tom is a "ladies' man." I mean *really,* does anyone here believe that he has hookups etc. Even called himself as "modelled after Mr. Bean." Jeez! But if he would drop the lies & false pretenses about the many women he's had, he may be a sweet guy and gentleman. The barber had me LOL with "photoshopped within an inch of her life" or whatever that was. Hilarious. & Tom's sister with "yeah & I'm skinny!" LoL I love a good self deprecation sense of humor.

Normally like I said, I FF ahead of all Darcey/Angela scenes but I watched and Ang actually had me laughing with "I have to think 4 different ways so I always catch what's going on." Lmao I hear that! I may even enjoy her this season.  I'll give her a chance. Just drop the pregnancy talk.

I've just started watching this show and haven't watched any of the seasons related to this franchise before this (though I'm aware of some of the more controversial couples...most of which are with Arab men and American women it seems).

So it appears that Darcey was on the show with another foreign lover which didn't end well. I do think that Tom has catfished her but she seems like an incredibly needy and insecure woman who is more obsessed with wanting someone to feed her ego than someone who is at least confident enough to show a recent picture of themselves before she flew all the way to London to meet him. He's doesn't seem like much of a prize but neither does she and while I understand her neediness being a turn off, can't say I feel bad for her.

I understand that Rebecca doesn't want to be controlled but don't haul your ass all the way to Tunisia for some dick and then take issue with customs in their country. Zied had admitted that he's jealous but it seems his issue with her dress is more to do with the customs and expectations of his country. It's possible that he wouldn't be as bothered for her to dress like that in America. In any case, I do find him a bit creepy and I think Rebecca should run but I also think it's hilariously ironic that she's telling him she just wants to be herself and be accepted for herself when she was the one who sent him excessively filtered pictures of herself up until the moment he met her in person. Show a little care about where you are in the world.

Angela...I can't even with this one. Does she just want camera time because there's no way this man wants anything more than a green card from her. But oh my, Caeser is even worse. How can he not see that he's being used? I really hope that his situation is staged for TV because it's just so pathetic that it makes my heart hurt to think that there are people in the world so gullible and can so easily be taken advantage of by someone who they have never met.

Tim is an odd looking dude but I do think he's solid to have maintained a fatherly role for that little girl. Not sure what to think of Jennifer. She is beautiful and it's obvious that it's his money that his her main priority in the 'relationship'. Either her anger about his ex is because she genuinely is open to trying in the relationship and doesn't like their relationship or ego is bruised by the idea that there may be another woman in his life when she expects him to only worship her.

Avery is so young and I can certainly understand why her mother is so worried about her decisions but I also understand why her mother is taking part in Avery's journey because she knows that otherwise, Avery is an adult and there's nothing her mother can do to force her to stay if she 'forbids' Avery from going to Lebanon or getting married. I also understand her protective nature about a completely foreign culture and religion that in fairness has not been presented in a positive light in the US but I also understand why Omar feels she's being disrespectful of his culture. Instead of googling information and being confrontational with him about it, ask him questions to learn about how he and his family do things. There are Muslims all over the world and their cultural traditions bleed into their interpretation of religion. You can have 10 people claim to be religious but when you start asking them questions, you may learn that the way they practice their religion is not identical to one another. On the bright side, Omar does seem decent with a mild temperament. He is conservative but hasn't appeared aggressive in the times where he didn't wasn't completely happy with Avery's choices (like the fit of the wedding dress). It's too early to tell how things will work out there, even if he is a good person who genuinely wants a marriage with Avery, they have a whole separate issue of getting him to the States given the travel ban.

This is my first post on here after reading the 90 day threads for years, and i would like to thank you all for the hours of entertainment 🤗

I am from England but live in the Netherlands so darcey's antics take on extra relevance for me.  This episode aired in the Netherlands last night, for some reason i found it amusing to imagine that Jesse was watching it at the same time...especially the barber shop scene: "I heard he's a bit of a narcissist" 🤣

Meanwhile i am cringing at Tom because he personifies everything i hate about English men (and reminds me why i stuck around in NL...yes there are plenty of Jesse lookalikes over here). "I will compensate for being ugly by being funny" only it feels forced and that he's trying too hard for the cameras. You are NOT attractive and i would sooner become a nun than sleep with you. Thanks to whoever point out that his krusty the clown mop is probably a toupee. On the other hand, pitching him against darcey is a hilarious combination. He's clearly seeing this like a first date while she gave us the impression that they already had an online relationship.

I can't remember who said it, but yes it is normal here that taxi drivers stand by the arrival gate at the airport with your name on a placard - because otherwise you don't know what the  other person looks like. One time i went to visit a friend and his mum came to pick me up at the airport; they made one of those signs as a joke...

Re omar and avery...i nearly cried listening to him talk about Syria. We have quite a few Syrian refugees here, and when i went to the language school to learn dutch, it was basically me and a bunch of refugees from iraq and syria in the class...lovely lovely people...but there were a disproportionate number who were dentists (also a doctor and a vet) so i did wonder if dentistry is like a go-to profession for them if you reach a certain level of education. And yes, their qualifications are not valid over here, so they have to study for several years to requalify, as well as pass language exams.

Sometimes i feel that TLC plays the "conservative Muslim country" card too much...the ones that i met in dutch class and at my work seemed pretty progressive to me. The ladies did not wear headscarves and i never had the feeling of being talked down to by the men. So i think its too early to draw conclusions on what sort of attitude omar might have towards women. I am rooting for him to be a good guy and for him and avery to work out.

I just binged watch this today and I guess I don't yet dislike Tom.  Sure he looks better in his photos, but we've also seen Darcy's photos.  He still looks better than her in person!

Darcy is reality TV gold.  I'm fascinated by her.  Yes, she seemed way disappointed at first over Tom and then seemed to convince herself he's dashing and has the *it* factor.  She wants love so badly.

On Avery, I don't find her that objectionable.  Yes, she's a stupid 19 year-old that is in love.  At least she seems respectful of the customs.  She looks gorgeous in her hijab.  I find it sad that a 19 year-old wants to get married to a stranger.

Cesar.  Wow, you are an idiot.  For some reason I feel sorry for him though.

Rebecca doesn't want to be controlled again but then mirrors that previous relationship.

I refuse to feel sorry for ceasar.  It appears he has a child and under no circumstances should he be sending 40k he cannot afford to a random ukranian woman who won't meet him unless he has a college fund set up and his child wants for nothing.  Since ceasar is eating top ramen I have my doubts.

And literally every single person in his life has told him what an awful idea this is and nevertheless....he persists.  As a man nearing 50 I just can't feel pity for him....which is great for me because it means I'll be able to enjoy whatever shit he has coming his way.

My thoughts precisely. I cannot feel sorry for him. He's an idiot and he makes me cringe. I have not one iota of empathy for this tool.

Timothy is a weird looking dude but he seems nice enough.  I don't know what the fuck he's doing with his eyebrows, but he needs to stop.  His fiance to be is either quite jealous or she is really playing it up to convince him of her great love.  But you start a fucking fight with the kid in the car?

And while I don't dislike Tom yet, why the fuck did he let Darcy sleep in a blood soaked sheet?  Was she so drunk she couldn't be awoken?

On Rebecca/Zeid, I think he was carrying over his anger in her choice of dress into the hookah bar.  However, in what I've read, Tunisia is a more liberal Muslim country and it's not unusual for the locals to wear Western garb. Still I don't understand why women on this show chase after Muslim men and then act offended when they want to control them.  I mean, if you are going to date the Amish, don't be surprised if they want you wearing their traditional clothing when you are mingling in their world.

And as worried as Rebecca was over the use of filters, all worry should've left her mind when she saw that big tub of goo he is carrying around.

Because they are going to CHANGE them, don't ya know?  They are there to challenge a culture because they think a lot of themselves.  Marry a Scientologist and watch what happens if you try to see a therapist.

Avery and her mom have an emotional good bye in the apartment with grandma.

Avery loses her phone at the airport, thinks she left it in the car, they call grandma and she appears at the airport drop off so they can search the car. When did granny get in the car? She was in the apartment with the little kids when Avery and her mom left and wasn’t in the car when they were driving to the airport.

Does everyone know that Avery is “going to meet her fiancé Omar, for the first time”? Cause she has told us that at least 20 times.

This is all pretty funny.....especially that you find yourself in the middle of Darcy's S2 and S3 beaus!  Thanks for chiming in.

Yes, with her fiancé Omar, the love of her life, that she’s going to meet for the very first time, and marry in two days.

Darcey is a toxic cloud of lewd desperation, neediness, stale perfume and general stank behavior. I cannot believe someone tolerated her enough to marry and procreate with her. I just CANT with her. And she knows TWO WORDS: Amazing and some variation of "MARRY". Excuse me while I go throw something at my TV and get a life.

I think so as well! He is behaving, from what we can see, like a grown man and I find that far more attractive than grunts of "so beautiful!"

Tom is refreshing compared to all the other numnuts.  “Baby, I so much love you”.  I just can’t.  (Add greasy hair).

This show just never disappoints.

I think Darcy is a very pretty woman and I am all about a woman dressing and grooming herself however she g-d pleases, especially if she is paying for it, but seriously, has Darcy ever dressed casually? Has she ever worn a  dress that was at least knee length? A simple tailored pantsuit? Or jeans and a classic white blouse? Hell, jeans and a t-shit? Sneakers? It is like she is always on her way to the club. I get always wanting to look your best but she really needs to embrace a broader range of looks. I mean even during the pillow talk shows, her and her sister were always done up to the nines, even in their pjs they looked like they were going to a jammy themed party at The Tunnel (old night club in NYC really popular in the 90s). It is always just a ton makeup, a ton of hair extensions, the most dramatic of lashes. Its tew much!!!

Tom did catfish with his pics but him and Darcy did video chat, which we saw last week and even then people were thinking he looked different from his pics so I'm thinking Darcy had some idea the pics weren't 100% accurate. Darcy's first husband was no looker so I could imagine she doesn't require a David Gandy look alike, however, I think Darcy like a manly man and Tom ain't it. Tom has a complete lack of big dick energy. He doesn't even have medium dick energy.

Tom looks as old if not older than Darcy.

Yes, Avery is an adult, however, I don't see how with no signs of a steady income or employment, Avery could possibly qualify and be approved for a K1 without some type of sponsorship. So, in a sense, mom is indeed underwriting Avery's foolish dance with death.

Avery has just as many (if not more) blinking red lights of doom than her intended groom. I just question someone who flits from one fade to another who then converts to Islam out of the blue and after a few months flies off to marry some dude she has never really spent physical time with and marries within 2 days of landing there. Make that make sense. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that after 5 years or less of marriage, she gets tired of all the oppression and flies back home to be a porn star and confesses to have been eating pork and drinking hard liquor the whole time.

Omar seems nice enough but again, we've seen him for a span of what 15 minutes? It is good that he has an actual profession as opposed to most of the ne'er do wells we see on this show. However, it should be noted that once he comes into this country (if he indeed does) I bet his degree won't mean shit. It might be better for them to go to another nation that will recognize his degree. Otherwise, it will be a case of Omar working as a warehouse worker at Amazon regaling his co-workers about how he used to be a doctor in his country

Even frigging Tom was bringing him up and went so far as to show a suggestive photo of Jesse to his barber.  That was just weird.

Angela is an idiot for still entertaining Mihkul but she is a hoot. She said something about coming at something 4 ways and doing it that way she will inevitably be right. The way she said it, that accent made it a hoot!

With her weight, I guess she goes on top.  She’s gonna cut off the poor guys air supply.  But then again, there are other ways which I’m sure she has already taught him.

Darcy!! What a skank! She really is the A typical American middle aged, ego centric, plastic coated excuse for a mother. It’s all about her and her ego. Such a desperate excuse for a human being.
