I'm officially over Kristen and her bullshit.

I want her off my tv. I'm also Team Heather. Kristen's constant whining, crying, and breaking down over every.single.thing is exhausting; the girl would piss off Ghandi.

LuAnn,keep to together, you are doing well so far this season.

That was some ugly, nasty-looking snarl she had, when defending her love for Jaques. Yikes.

Can't you already envision Sonja growing old not so gracefully? She's going to fight it to her grave. Even when she has to resort to making her own products in her kitchen. Good thing she's so young and juicy, she can supply her own placenta. That is of course if her last eggs weren't frozen in the Montana river.

I'm convinced LuAnn has a basement full of chained up short Frenchmen.

LuAnn did not write that Sonja had to give up her friendship with Ramona and I don't she implied it.  I think LuAnn was just pointing out that those 3 have history before the newer Housewives and there's a huge disparity in respect shown by Sonja to Ramona versus LuAnn.  Sonja finally told the truth this episode about why; it's jealousy.  LuAnn's blog was poorly written with tons of errors but she didn't get really grimy with Sonja even though Sonja deserves it big time.

Sonja lashed out at Ramona in the Hamptons - you don't know what it's like to be a single mom, custody battle, blah blah.  Oh poor Sonja - sucks when things don't go your way even after you sabotaged yourself!

From Lu's blog:

Is 'well wisher' some kind of new age term that I missed because I don't pay attention to Oprah?  Like The Gift's- Ask, Believe, Receive?  (or whatever it was.)

I mean, I know it's a noun with a true definition.  But the way Aviva throws it around - and now seeing Lu use it, makes me wonder if it's some sort of movement that's based on a self help book or something.

Ha!  When Aviva said it, I figured it's something from the early 1900s / her father.  Now that you mentioned LuAnn used it, first thought was Vicki G's Love Tank.  I googled it but the only thing I saw was repeat Band Camp references.  I duuno.

I used to think this franchise really needed Ramona....not so much anymore. Could anyone be more negative???

I also used to be a fan of Sonja....again, not so much anymore. What's with the look she gives when she knows the cameras are rolling?  She looks like she just smelled a big fart!  It's not a good look.  I think she thinks it's her sexy look.

Disappointed in Heather this week.  I'm still a Heather fan, but she wasn't too pleasant last night. I get it Heather!  You were a tomboy!  There's nothing you can't do! I give Kristen credit. There's no way you're going to get me to repel (sp?) down that mountain!  I would've cried too.

When I saw Carole's outfit last night, I couldn't wait to log on here and see what ya'll had to say about it! Lol.

Ha - we don't need to envision it.  We see it before our very eyes every week with her inappropriate wardrobe (the backless dress anyone?), her sad attempts to mack on guys who could easily be her son (too many to mention), her need to convince us that she's still quite fertile (the abhorrent scene of her and her assistant in the bathroom before her toaster oven shoot).

I am generally a Heather supporter, but damn, she was acting like an asshole this week.

Carole.... Oh Carole.  God bless 'er, but that purple satin monstrosity was the worst. It reminded me of something Harriet Olsen would have worn to some fancy-pants getup in Sleepy Eye or Mankato (too fancy for Walnut Grove!)

Luann's just looks amazing!  I find her to be kinda blah in terms of hair and style, but her body is slamming.  Gorgeous!

Right?? She's like 48 and looks better than most women half her age.  I really want her to spill her tips for looking so amazing. THAT is the book she should have released in lieu of that "Class with the Countess" crap.

I just can't with Carole's outfits. Trying way too damn hard.

This was mentioned over on TWOP at one point and I didn't get it then but now I do.  Carole is totally trying to be Carrie Bradshaw, from her quirky "I don't use my kitchen to cook in but hold my books/sweaters" to the weird age inappropriate pigtails to the ridiculous clothing.

Stop it, Carole.  Seriously.  Just stop.  You were much cooler last season when dashing around London in clothing that not only befit the season and occasion but also your age.

I have always liked Heather but I wanted to punch her last night.  STFU.  If someone asks you to be quiet, just STFU.  And why put Kristen down?  Okay, so she's not as athletic as you.  And?  LuAnn isn't necessarily either and there were no digs made at how nervous she was.  And no digs made toward Carole, Ramona and Sonja, who didn't even go.  So let it go.

I can't throw too much shade at Kristen because I've been in her shoes before where I've been terrified of something and done it and my reaction was the same - - shake and cry tears of relief.  Not everyone high-fives themselves (HEATHER) or expects a parade (AVIVA).

  • Love 7

The geocaching did look pretty boring, but just out of curiousity I do wish a "treasure" had been found.

LuAnn's "I'm with Jacques, and we're in love forever blah, blah..."  Er, really now?

I loved Carole's hiking outfit, because it was just so whatthafuck.

Their styles may be different, but Carole prowls and gets her flirt on just as much as Sonja does at the various events. I wonder if there's a little competition going on there, being she and Sonja are both the same age and single.

I thought Ramona was going to stay drunk the whole time? She needs to be mainlining the pinot if it'll keep her from complaining every. fucking.minute.

At one point during the hiking Sonja and LuAnn had their arms around each other and were laughing, so hopefully they'll make up and get back to the SoLu picnics.

Heather getting her boss on...yes, ma'am.

What psychoticstate said -- all of it.

Sonja is clearly wildly envious of LuAnn for all the reasons she listed.  Wow.  She's plunged in the last two seasons.  Very few shred of decency on display anymore.

Ramona makes me want to pull my hair out.  Witch.

Fear of heights is in my blood too so I give Kristin huge credit for doing what she did.  Heather acted a fool.  The fear is so intense that it makes a body want to jump just to get it over with.  That in turn adds to the terror.  The woman obviously needed a moment of relief and release.  She earned it.  Heather is getting way too big for her britches.

Montana is so beautiful.  Wish we'd gotten a real look at the chef prepared dinner.  I like LuAnn a lot, always have, but wish she would just drop it and stop making herself vulnerable to the two nasty bits of business known as Sonja and Ramona.  No profit in any of that.

  • Love 3
Sonja - you finally spoke the truth when you complained that LuAnn has it easier than you and that's why you are being awful to her.

Are you forgetting Sonja has had butlers for 20 years?!  My God that woman is delusional. And I agree, her constant references to not wearing underwear, the innuendos, the blatant sexual comments - none of this is in the least bit attractive, except to the kind of man who only wants (as we say in the UK) to get his leg over.

Carole - WTF? But she was a bit of light relief in all this week's arguments.

I thought Heather looked a hot mess at the dinner in the lodge - her hair was stringy and she was wearing a horrible frilled/ruffled shirt that really didn't suit her at all. Heather sometimes makes poor style choices.

And Ramona - STFU. That resort is beautiful. I would jump at the chance to spend a few days in that environment - particularly in such luxurious lodges. I thought the whole place was gorgeous.  Kudos too for the HWs who rappelled off that cliff. No way would I have done that. But if I'd been on that trip, you would not want to put me in the same space as Ramona and Sonja with a shotgun in my hands ...

I've always liked Heather too and was disappointed with her last night.  Have we ever seen her be that nasty?! I also wonder if Heather, during her dating years, differentiated herself from more classically pretty girly girls like Kristen with the whole "I'm athletic!" thing.  And to what extent she resented women like Kristen, and by extension, Kristen herself now.  I feel like I see women do this all the time - they can't compete on looks, so they compete on intelligence, sense of humor, or wit.

All pure speculation on my part.

I did geocaching with my nephew a few years ago.  It was designed for kids so you got to the "treasure" pretty quickly.  In one afternoon we got 4 treasures and had lunch.  So, all in all, I was impressed.  The treasure was little doodads like a wearable button (or attachable to a backpack) of the area you were in, stickers etc.  So if you all want to try it then look for a kids geocache.  He loved it because I drove and he got to work the gps and direct me.

Carole and that dress was hysterical.  Like she was doing laundry or something.

I would have loved to just sleep and read and eat and lounge around those awesome cabins.  Having too many activities planned for people above preschool is a recipe for disaster.

Still loving LuAnn this year!

Me too!  But I am bored and ff through most of the show.

Did anyone else notice Carole squirming and looking like she was ready to run during one of the arguments of the other HW? I can't remember who was arguing though. Carole likes to disappear when things get testy. She also hid in her room when Sonja was having her little tizzy in Saratoga. She obviously doesn't understand the rules of a being a HW. Number one rule being that all matters whether small or big, are your business. Number two - you must voice your opinion about things that are none of your business often and to other HW that have no dog in the fight.

Can't believe Ramona was actually going to phone Aviva to psychoanalyze her "ailiments".

I liked Carole's hiking dress -- woman's a romantic, that's all that's about.

Kristen -- nobody wanted to geocache, and if the treasure was buried even a little bit, they had no tools to dig it up with. She was more bossy than Heather. If somebody wants to do their own thing, let them.

Yeah. That looked more like a stroll to me anyway. Not some sweaty hike. Heavy mountain hiking and sunshine plus setting up/finding tripod locations or even holding heavy equipment while getting your footing and footage would equal a nightmare of variables for the crew filming such a simple scene I'd imagine. It was to me a backdrop notion, the hike. They just needed them to walk and talk more about the feud and capture the convo for storyline purposes. No surprises about Carole's outfits, but I never tire of them. I find them endearing and reflective of her quirky, playful tendencies. Find your song and put it on, hell why not.

Glad Sonja gave more clarity to my theory she was spitefully resentful and envious of Luann, as if Luann somehow had just had it easier than her, right. What they went through was very similar. Married to men of wealth and status, they both just made very different choices after their divorces. It's not that hard to not "have it so hard", Sonja, just don't be a greedy theif and a fraud, taking hard earned money away from people who do real work, you dum dum. That's why Luann is doing quite comfortably, or so it appears, and you're a sitting duck with all your mistakes tangled up in court cases.

Kristen cries after everything because she doesn't set out to accomplish it for HER when she does follow through, and part of me thinks she does this strange thing on purpose because some cycle of victim-card blame shifting keeps happening afterward. She chooses to compete during activities that seem meant to connect and support those involved. She went down that wall competing with Heather, Heather is "better", at the wall, "of course Heather did so well", blah blah blah. Let all the orphans cry for your suffering, Kristen. All your focus is on Heather here, and I saw the same when you ran that race for Josh, yes, that darling husband, the dismissive patronizing qualities in him an excellent fit to feed that notion of victim-hood that seems to so appeal to her. She really wanted to find the treasure, but she couldn't just look for it alone after others gave up, this one she did for the group, so again, where's Kristin doing it for Kristin? Everyone must press on with her! Does she even know how to do something driven by self determination, SELF motivation? For a friend, I thought Heather could've been gentler, but I don't know their history. I'd get fed up eventually and snippy, too.

I guess this season they are going for the whole outdoorsy theme, not my cup of tea.

Even though Montana is beautiful and the scenery is just great, all this is not what I want to see. I want to see some house porn, some exotic places that I probably could never visit on my own. Scary Island had that for me, even the trip to Morocco, but Montana? nah

I would have loved if they visit some huge palace in Europe or some exotic island owned by a billionaire. I am done with this trip and there is still one more episode to come? ughhh   first the Berkshires , now Montana, no doubt Bravo and production are just being cheapos IMO.

  • Love 4

I don't know why Sonja ( as in Sonja is the new George) is doing the snob routine. That part of her life is so ovah! She needs to accept things as they are - including her age. She is sooo not the young "catch" for anyone. She is disgusting with her constant references to not wearing underwear, etc.  If she is indeed in a custody battle with Mr. Morgan, her actions on this show would be the nail in her coffin.  She is a sorry specimen and should probably not be burning her bridges.

I found Ramona's coments about how HOT the cabin was to be hysterical - I'm pretty sure in addition to the extra weight she is carrying, that she is going through menopause. How many times has she complained about the heat this season?  In Carole's blog, she mentions that she keeps the air conditioning in her home set at "a pleasant 76 degrees".  Mine is at 78 and my home is perfectly comfortable. I'm pretty sure Ramona has moved on to "a new stage in life". (And I'm not referring to the empty nest syndrome).

Please see my blog and pictures of LuAnn happy as a clam with me at my Sonja In The City Season 6 Premiere Party! And very cozy with Harry too!

From Sonja's blog (http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-new-york-city/season-6/blogs/sonja-morgan/i-dont-have-to-prove-my-loyalty-to-?page=0,1).

Another apparent gigantic thorn in Sonja's side is the fact that Harry and Luann are still quite chummy.  Maybe that's another reason she's been gunning so hard for Luann this season.

Dammit, now I can't wait for that episode where Harry takes off in a limo with Luann and leaves Sonja behind.

I agree with everyone who thinks that Sonja has a major case of sour grapes because Luann is, for all appearances, everything that Sonja wants to be but doesn't have the fortitude to become.

I loved Carole's hiking outfit, because it was just so whatthafuck.

Because I was also having a ginormous WTF moment about Carole's choice of walking attire, a comment on her blog ("wearing my vintage walking dress") caught my eye.  I figured there had to be some esoteric method to her proverbial madness.

A quick flick of the Google shows that there are indeed vintage "walking dresses" worn in the day when...Well, walking about one's outdoors space.

http://www.janeausten.co.uk/walking-dresses/

Walking Dresses were worn to see and be seen. They are often referred to as Promenade Dresses, a very literal definition of their purpose. The fashionable Regency woman was seen walking in the parks or in the shopping districts during the London Season (spring and early summer); at the popular seaside resorts in August and September; and in the countryside at their own estates or at house parties during the fall and winter months. Walking Dresses differ for each location and season of the year. Because they were meant to be worn outdoors, the full costume of the Walking Dress always included a head covering of some kind, an outer garment or wrap, and gloves. Bonnets, caps, and veils were worn to cover the head, and were often the means of the most dashing or frivolous fashion statement.

My guess is this might be a vintage piece she picked up whilst residing in London, since that's the region in which these "walking dresses" seemed to be the most prolific in their usage.

Is it something I would have chosen to wear?  Good god, NO.  But...It makes sense for Carole in her quirkiness to unearth it from her wardrobe and use it for this occasion since they were essentially walking in the wide open spaces and woodsy areas and not actually climbing or hiking.

Now to go get another cup of coffee and contemplate just why the fresh hell I gave a rat's ass about Carole's choice of walking attire.

I think Carole hit the nail on the head when she said that Kristen felt out of control rappelling earlier and was looking forward to geocaching where she could be more in control and take the lead again. I like Heather this season, but not such a great moment for her this episode. Heather should've just done the geocache thing to please her friend who planned the trip and to show some appreciation. Clearly, she lacked better judgment by running off with Sonja and Ramona, and looking like a bit of a mean girl in doing so. If she just wanted to relax and drink and was really against the planned outing, then she, Sonja, and Ramona should've just excused themselves and gone back instead of complaining obnoxiously in front of Kristen and Cowbody Paul and separating themselves (btw, good for Paul for getting the hell out of dodge. I would've done the same). Either participate, or go back. Don't disconnect from everyone else and have your own little party. But, being the "truthteller" that she was (aka drunk), Heather didn't seem to care what she looked like, for better or worse. Trying to see things from Heather's POV, I'm not sure it's an issue of jealousy over Kristen's looks (she doesn't strike me as someone who would all the sudden be petty over that out of nowhere) as it is with just being annoyed by the dull nature of the activity coupled with Kristen's incessant need to try to make it happen (speaking of bossy!). For an adrenaline junkie like Heather, to end the night with such a dull activity after experiencing such a rush earlier in the day -- they would've been better off doing the treasure hunt before the more extreme activities (rappelling/shooting) or on a different day. Plus, what a bummer that we never got to see this elusive "treasure."

Going back to Kristen's bossy comment, talk about projection! She showed her bossiness by forcefully grabbing Heather and trying to pry a stick out of her hand to get her to join the damn activity. She needs to learn how to let things go, learn to be flexible, and not force things to meet her rigid expectations. Even when they're met (as Heather pointed out) she's STILL not happy. Even if the girls all acted accordingly and did the geo cache activity, I bet Kristen would still find something to be unhappy about. She would have had a much better time ignoring the other 3 and pressing on with Luann, Carole, and Cowboy Paul. Alas, she had to get all dramatical, playing Mean Mommy shaking her finger at an intoxicated Heather who would have none of it.

I wondered the same and other jealousy related issues, but it just seems so odd to me. Because Heather has always appeared very comfortable in her skin and self-assured. Out of all the women, she seems the least likely to get jealous of someone.

Then I started to wonder if it has something to do with the show? Kristen and Heather know each other offscreen, they've been friends for years. Through Josh, right? How did Kristen get on the show? Did Heather have anything to do with it? I just wonder if she's getting territorial over having an actual friend come onto her turf and possibly be stealing more of the attention?

I'm probably grasping at straws here, but the entire thing seemed so out of character that I'm just dying to figure out what was behind it.

  • Love 5

What is up with Sonja (with a sexy J) going into full pose-mode with lips puckered as soon as she hears a male voice?  Pathetic.   Does she think the guy will think "wow, what full lips" and not notice when she drops the pucker later?   It is almost as if she can't tell when she is alone posing in front  of a mirror and when she is with others.

And did you see her applying lip gloss either with Mr. Cowboy right before the geocaching or shooting? Lawsy.

  • Love 3

If she is indeed in a custody battle with Mr. Morgan, her actions on this show would be the nail in her coffin.

Is she in a custody battle though? I didn't think that was ever even an issue. Old Man Morgan strikes me as the type who would want the ex to have custody just so that he can move on to his next wife with as little "baggage" as possible. Not to say that he doesn't love his daughter, but he does give off the vibe of "that life is done, on to the next" when it comes to marriage.

  • Love 1

I don't have a problem if Ramona and Sonja don't enjoy the vacation everybody is entitled to their own tastes, just that they are so ungracious about it.. Suck it up.

I can't stand whiny Kristen, she is really emotionally high maintenance, total turnoff to me however; Heather is a real bitch. For fuck's sake what was her problem? Even Carole her BFF was tired of her nastiness.

Last week someone made mention of Alex McCord and her blog.  I think there was something about Sonja's interns and is she knew.  Word got back to her and she addressed the issue.  Today's video blog Alex goes into detail how Sonja found out about interns and the process involved.  Alex also talks about the show and the pitting of RHONYC against "Botched" starring Terry Dubrow RHOC and Paul Nasiff RHOBH.

http://thestir.cafemom.com/entertainment/174086/rhoc_rhobh_husbands_try_to

I keep mine a  nice and pleasant 68. I've always been intolerant of heat and 78 would make me very uncomfortable. People are different. I don't think it has anything to do with Ramona's weight. She doesn't look fat to me.

  • Love 6

I forgot this was on last night. That's how invested I am in this season. After reading the HOs blogs, I'm glad I missed it. Sonja's post is all over the place. It's written like drunk rambling. I think she needs a breathalyzer on her laptop.

I'm not surprised Heather turned nasty. She's always had a mean streak. I don't have examples so someone help me out here.

I'm a last holdout for Ramona but I can find nothing entertaining about her this year.

Thanks for the posts. After reading, I don't have to watch any more.

Which is precisely what she expressed expecting from the ladies during her also not well-received outing to the Berkshires.

My take on Heather's bitchiness........this is a working week for the women. They have nonstop cameras in their faces, from the moment they wake up until the time they go to bed. I'm sure Luann's little morning hike was not a solo walk. I think the women get irritable and testy with each other, throw in some alcohol and up the odds go. We know that Heather had several drinks and was drinking a beer while walking. These are wet dream moments for the producers.

That in no means excuses Heather for the things she said to Kristin. I think Heather went too far and bordered on being downright cruel. It makes me think that Kristin has been getting on Heather's nerve for some time and the alcohol was just the catalyst to help her lose her facade.

No, Maharincess.  You're doing it right.  What that little boy is doing is the oddest, most epic victory dance I think I've ever seen.  Though I don't think Heather will raise her shirt and gyrate with tongue wagging when she "wins" again next week, I do think a victory dance will be involved.

Extended footage from Luann vs. Sonja.  Sonja is channeling Kelly on Scary Island.

http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-new-york-city/unseen-footage-of-rhonys-biggest-fights

I was surprised at the way Heather was trying to undermine Kristen when they were repelling. Those weren't words of encouragement like, "you can do this." It was, "This isn't for everyone" or "You don't have to do this." I wonder if she is jealous of Kristen's looks. Later she mockingly said, "But I'm pretty..." in a sing songy voice. Nasty. We get it, geocaching was boring. But Luann and Carole went along with it, but Heather was rallying the troops against her. I was surprised.

Actually yeah, Heather was a lot nastier to her than I had recalled. Sounds like everyone got annoyed and kind of prickly eventually, it was like a contagion.

No, Pervert George and his fake fiancé are NOT getting a spin-off. I just read that Andy tweeted that it was a fake story. I think he rarely, if ever, does that. He must really hate Aviva. She and her band of fake enablers and well wishers are so gone after this season.

ETA: Just saw this posted in the George thread....I'm sorry if posting it here is the wrong place....but I'm kind of offended that there's a George thread! (If you know what I mean).

Does it work good?  Which products do you....uh..your friend...use?

My "friend" adores their Total Cleansing Oil, and now swears by the Super-Restorative Day Cream and the Hydra-Quench cream.  Their self-tanner is pretty good, too.  At least that's what my friend tells me.

Well my "friend" is hoping that the Native American ancestry she shares with Luann might help bump up the effects.  What I...Er, "she" wouldn't do to look so amazing at Luann's age (or any age, for that matter).

There are quite a few of the housewives who actually respond to questions on Twitter.  I...Oops, my "friend," has had responses from Luann, Kyle, Yolanda, Jill, and Alex and Simon.  My "friend" has also been unable to resist the temptation to Tweet some well-deserved snark and has managed to get banned from a few housewife Twitter accounts as well.  Hey, somebody's got to give those women a reality check on occasion.

I've been a big Heather fan - big - but she really disappointed me last night.  Instead of cheering Kristen on for doing something that clearly scared her, she undermined her.  And later in her TH moaning about how she shouldn't have done it.  Why?  No, she wasn't a natural, but she wanted to challenge herself.  I would have thought that of all the housewives, Heather would have applauded her for that.

Co-sign. On the whole post. I'm a big Heather fan, too, so it was hard to see her so mean. Was it the alcohol? Some people's personalities really do a 180 after a few drinks. Sadly, I don't think that's the case here, since Heather defends herself in her TH's (and I'm guessing she's sober for those!). Plus, she was pretty mean to Kristen during the repelling, and you can be sure she wasn't drunk for that! Heather might be outdoorsy and athletic, but she'd be a terrible Outward Bound instructor. If a person is scared and ultimately doesn't do the assigned task, then yea, you can tell them that it's not for everybody, and they're ok, and let's find something else to challenge you, yadda, yadda... But while the challenge (activity) is ongoing? Are you kidding me? No way! The person needs encouragement and support. Only. Damn.

I agree that this episode was not Heather's best moment. But I am sorry, Kristen gets on my last nerve and if I had had to spend more than a day with her whiny "O" face I probably would have been drinking more than Heather. I just can't seem to like anything about that girl!

I like Kristen and I've defended her here, but even I was kind of annoyed with her whining last night. That being said, she acknowledged her whining in her blog, and said it wasn't her finest moment, and stress and her nerves from the repelling got to her - or words to that affect, and I have to say - when do we ever see this? When does a HW ever acknowledge that their behavior on the show was maybe not them at their finest? Hardly ever. Instead we get Sonja saying that her embarrassing behavior has "charmed" jet setters all over the world and inspired women from coast to coast. Or Ramona saying that the glass she threw at Kristen maybe wasn't "lady-like," but no big deal cuz it was plastic. So I think it's kind of refreshing to see a HW act embarrassed by an episode. I guess that's why I like her and can give her a pass.

Did both Sonja and Carole wear cowboy boots to go fly fishing?

What do these women think happens on an all girl trip?  Carole sleeps in a silk full length nightgown, and Sonja is incapable of wearing underwear to sleep or eat breakfast.

I wonder if she is jealous of Kristen's looks.

One of the things I like about Heather is the confidence she has in her unconventional looks.  I just don't see her being jealous of Kristen's appearance.  Especially since her career is based solely on her looks, and she's aging out of the field pretty quickly.

My guess is this might be a vintage piece she picked up whilst residing in London, since that's the region in which these "walking dresses" seemed to be the most prolific in their usage.

The Regency era was 1811-1820.  I don't think Carole's dress looked of that era, but if she's sashaying around in the woods in a two hundred year old gown ........

Oh, she termed it vintage in her blog.  I never presumed to guess what era it was from nor did Carole state the era.

From her blog:

I find myself having to explain very simple constructs, but I love doing it in my vintage purple silk walking gown. That's how I roll out west.

My only assumption was that she might have purchased it when she lived in London, as it appears walking gowns were more common there and might be more easily found.

Heather was also the only one who witnessed Kristen's meltdown at the mudrun. I thought she was telling Kristen it was okay not to do the rappelling because she didn't want her to freak out. I didn't see that at trying to deter her.

I agree, but it still irritated me. I usually like Heather, but I do get annoyed when she gets into her Team Leader mode. She can have this very jockish, business school mantra, #winner side to her personality that really grates on me. It's also usually when she starts sticking her nose in everybody's business and giving a lot of unsolicited opinions and advise. Because she's just being honest, holla! Makes me staby. But once I convinced her that she is not my camp councilor and I honestly have no interest in hearing her "truth" (which I think could take a few fights with her), we'd end up friends.
