Yes eating tomatoes and cucumbers straight from the garden  is delicious.😁

And to this day I have never washed raspberries before eating - whether they are farm-picked, forest-picked or store-bought. 🙂  In fact, I am planning to go picking raspberries and strawberries this weekend!  and you bet I will be eating them there in the garden too!

If he performs a boob lift with the same attention to detail as the rest of his surgeries, hard pass.  It's surprising how unskilled he is at stitching.  Still love him, dis munt and every munt.

You don't become a vascular surgeon - stitching the tiny blood vessels deep inside - without knowing how to stitch.   Stitches on the outside are not really important, what is important is the line of the scar, that it be straight and even.  The stitches are just there so it doesn't fall apart until natural healing takes over.  The stitch marks will become invisible in a few months, barring some atypical skin reactions (though as an African American she is more prone to keloid scars than a European would be, she doesn't seem to have that, though I haven't been paying attention due to chat.)

With a little luck they'll fade some over time.

Luck is good, but silicone patches and scar massage are better!

Swelling takes a couple months to subside and as long as two years to resolve completely.  Scars settle and improve for a long time, years...

I used to have a scar from where I dropped an iron on my hand as a three year old.  I learned to tell right and left by "right is the hand with the scar" which was still bright red when I started school - but by the time I got to high school, you would only know I had a scar if you knew where to look for it and looked closely. 🙂

As someone who has had multiple surgeries by lots of different surgeons, that isn't my experience.  I've even had other doctors look at a particularly ugly scar from 20 years ago and say, "who did THAT?!"

I am a pale skinned white woman and my brother and I both have keloids. We have 3 other brothers that don't have it but we do.. It is very unusual for us to have it through.

Is anyone watching the Smothered show?  Just the commercials irritate me to the point of wanting to throw something heavy at my poor innocent TV set.

Oh Hells no! They all look vile and I am positive 99% of that show will be made up bullshit. I shudder to think that there are real mother-daughter relationships like that in the world.

I can certainly believe that a scar can be ugly and badly healed and badly put together (and I am sorry it happened to you), but I remain unconvinced that it was stitching that was the main issue.
