I was surprised Tina gave as good as she got. Usually she isn't so prolific with the zingers. I think it's perfectly normal for teens to be fighting one day and friends the next too.

There was also the ep where she was fighting with Louise over who would drive the go-cart. She had lots of great zingers there.

I just really want an excuse to tell people I was upset about something "so I hit the needle...the knitting needle"!

I love The Breakfast Club, so anything that references to it is an automatically a winner in my book.

This is the 30th anniversary of the movie, so I wonder if that played into "Bob's" using it as a story line.

Quite possibly since the movie is also coming back to certain theaters for a couple nights.

After starting a band with Tina, Louise, Rudy, Peter and Daryl, and then getting tossed from it, Gene swears he'll never play again, so Tina and Louise team to help him rediscover his love of music. Meanwhile, Linda suffers through a horrible rash.

Burger of the Day: If You've Got It Croissant It Burger, Parm-Pit Burger (comes with parmesan)

"I got a thumbs up! That's better than a customer!"

Gene slamming the band room door, only for it to slowly close was such a great gag. The whole plot gave us a lot of great songs. Seriously, this show does songs so well.

"No, we burnt dad's new socks. Who does he think he is?"

"No fair, why do your armpits get to eat all the fun stuff?" As gross as that b-plot was, it led to some great lines.

That was hilarious. My favorite bit in the ep.

I loved Tina and Louise playing the straws.

I was worried as Linda was describing her rash symptoms that we would see something really gross. The armpit hair was tolerable.

Not related to this episode but another (there's not a catch-all thread that I saw), this weekend, I went to the pancake house that has Dutch Baby pancakes. I always think of Bob's Burgers now when I see them on the menu.

I like when the kids have adventures together. It's nice that the girls were the ones to cheer up Gene too. I liked that Gene just wanted to have fun. There's too much practicing, tutoring nowadays and I like when the kids just do stuff.

Those armpits were legit gross! But everyone coming up with names for them, and trying to assign them genders, was hilarious.

The slamming door bit was great, as was Tina`s anger at Linda not making dinner. "Just...feed your children".

The sibling bonding was sweet. So glad to have the show back!

It's Linda's birthday and Bob needs more time to plan her birthday surprise. But when he sends her out of the house as a distraction, she goes missing! Mayhem ensues as the Belchers must work together to find Linda.

In true Belcher fashion, the family gets stuck in a terrible storm while vacationing at a beach house in Craggy Neck. The storm is the least of their worries, however, when they are forced to take shelter with the mysterious owner of the home.

With the threat of a rent increase on Ocean Avenue, Bob and the other tenants rebel! After approaching Fischoeder, the tenants find out that they will have to compete in order to convince him to keep their rents reasonable.

Exterminator: Mama Said There'd Be Sprays Like This (I think)

Linda shares my disdain for birthdays, and hers just...absolutely sucked. She really does seem off-putting to certain people, but I love how all the people at the Royal Oyster Hotel absolutely love her. She must use that restroom a LOT when she's on a first name basis with the piano guy. I really do like how each kid go somewhere different with Linda: Gene to the bake shop, Louise to the pet store, and Tina to use a restroom.

I can only imagine Gayle freaking out over the phone, and I'm sure it continued after Bob "reassured" her.

That chalk art was really good, especially the cliff (and how straight they played it with Linda jumping over it).

I can see how Linda could be off putting, but having all those adventures seemed really fun. And she ended up having a good birthday! That was a good adventure for everyone because the kids were helping, Teddy was cool about driving them around, and Linda just kept pushing on.

I loved this episode, especially finding out the kids all have "their" special place to go with her. And I liked Bob really trying to find something she'd like for her birthday.

But I think my favorite part was finding out a baby was banned from the store where Gene and Linda eat samples.

I LOVED the parrot saying, "All right!" My facialist says that all the time and I'm torn about asking her if she's a Bob's Burger fan since I don't want to make her feel self-conscious. (It is very annoying, though.)

I liked how proud she was of herself getting home with no money and no phone and that she wants to do it again on her next birthday. Linda is the best.

Who was it that sings "BM in the PM"?  And, is that song available to win an Emmy this year?

ps- Louise, when entering the bedroom with the tray: "Put away your boobs"  I had to rewind that twice, I completely didn't "get it."

I can imagine that Bob's photo may someday be on the wall of that bakery too. (Touches too many of the freebies!)

"I feel really poor."

"Yeahhhhh..."

I definitely enjoyed this one, especially stoned Bob. Stoned Bob is Best Bob.

"We gotta get out of this beautiful death house!"

"And get back to our horrible life house!"

They honestly kept me guessing if Helen was the killer (still a hard "maybe"), Sweet Dee herself as Helen was such a good casting choice.

Oh she's a murderer. I'm worried for Teddy.

I think Teddy will be OK.  For one thing, he's not very smart, and two, he's poor.  Looks like Helen killed her husband for the money and Teddy's too dumb to suspect it.

And we have another song to add to the playlist: Teddy's adorable ode to Helen.  Loved seeing them dancing together in the end.  Is it wrong that I actually want these two to work?  Teddy deserves a good relationship, damnit!

I thought it was good, but they really sidelined Gene and Tina.  That's why I'm not really a fan of Linda/Louise pairings, because individually, they can fill up a room, but together they're very OTT.

It looked like 'plantain,' but you're right, Linda's hair was in the way the whole time. Maybe they didn't think that they had a good pun this week.

It seems like a lot of fans are assuming that Helen killed her husband, based on the buried toolbox. Can someone explain to me how that would suggest her guilt? Was she claiming that he was bad with tools?

I thought it might have been the evidence that she loosened the railing.Plus, she seemed really anxious about it.

This. Helen claimed to have no tools, but had a hammer and two nails buried in the yard. Earlier in the show, Helen said the police thought the railing was loose (and it was because she had removed a couple nails) and that's why her husband fell. Looks like Helen removed the nails from the railing and pushed her husband through/over the loosened railing. She also added boulders to the yard, probably to ensure his death from a fall.

I liked the episode, Teddy cracked me up when he made note of necessary repairs while he fell. And stoned Bob is hilarious, I wonder if he'll remember down the line once he's sober.

Ah, that makes sense. I remembered that Linda and Louise were assuming the husband was good at something, and then Helen told them he was actually bad at it - but I guess that was something else. His athleticism/balance, maybe?

I loved this episode. I loved Linda's responses to going through the house. I was jealous of that house! Loved stoned Bob, loved the animation, voicework, camera work, I thought everything was perfect.

Boy, the onscreen description for this episode  was way off:  'A wicked storm puts a damper on the Belchers' beach vacation and forces them to take shelter with the mysterious owner of their rental property.'

I would also like for Teddy to get involved with Helen.  As long as he doesn't have a secret big bank account somewhere or inherits money from a long-lost relative, he should be safe.

Linda and Louise thought the hubby was good at mountain-climbing because of the photos in the house. And because they thought he was an avid mountaineer, Louise and Linda thought it odd that he would have poor balance and fall off the balcony.

Linda and Louise were great. Louise is totally nosy like Linda. Oh, look the drawer just popped open! That was a fun family episode. They've been split lately.
