Yes, it’s called the predicate nominative case. In spoken word, it sounds formal, but it is correct grammatically.

I’m not sure what that’s about. I sometimes screenshot and crop to remove what appears of my phone, in addition to the picture.

This is a picture from a blog called Spiritswander from the episode that shows Amy in the vehicle with the inspector, although we can’t see where his legs are in the vehicle.  I guess they could be on the passenger’s side if he’s leaning in from that side.   I don’t remember the lawsuit that well, I guess I wasn’t watching at that point, did they mention it on the show?

No, you were right the first time, it should be "me." Take Chris out of the sentence and how would you say it?

“Fourth of July, it’s just I”

or

“Fourth of July, it’s just me”?

Take the other person out of the sentence and you'll have your answer. Another way to remember is "I" should be used at the beginning of the sentence and "me" at the end.

"Is" is a verb.  The word "me" would follow a preposition.  "It is I" turned around would be "I am it", not "Me am it".

You’re correct. The subject of the sentence is “it”,  but “is” is the verb, so the pronoun should then be in the nominative case, not the objective case. There is no action, so the pronoun must name what “it” is.

Amy is right— however, she probably doesn’t know why.

I like him a little scruffy around the house. I mean he’s like my dad’s age, but I think he nice looking for an older guy.  I’m guessing he just looks that why around the house and still dresses up for his job.

None of them work!  They are all Educators. Read Jeremy’s ramblings or Amy’s life story. You can’t put the books down and you learn sooo much from these influencers!  Tantalizing!

Good grief Amy's constantly licking her fingers, adjusting her hair, she literally tears the bread with her teeth rather than biting off a piece and chewing.... She's talking with her mouth full of food, bits of food and spit flying everywhere... and all the while wiping her nose with the back of her hand.... So gross I had to turn it off.  😲

Amy eats like a caveman, she looks sweaty and greasy like she needs to take a shower.

I didn't watch the video but she looks like this most all of the time 🤢 I just can't see Chris looking at her and thinking "this is who I want to spend the rest of my life with"  oh well......

Oh I think he looks at her and sees $$$$$! Most Realtors supplement their spouse salary.   Realtors sell, on average, 6-8 homes a year!   With that said I'm thinking Chris is in the 6-8 home sales a year and the show checks have to be like 'money from heaven'!

So I watched part two and even though I don't think I could ever eat anything Amy cooks her appetizers appealed to me!

Amy picked her fingers, wiped her nose and those bangs!!!!!

I noticed her friend took one of the appetizers from way back on the plate.  One Amy didn't have her nose in!  I'd love to be a fly on the wall when her friends discuss her cooking etiquette!  I bet that's a hoot!

Anyway I had everything in the house so I fixed them for lunch!

They were delicious!

I think it's driven by her bull headed attitude.

The more that people point out how unattractive it is the more she does it and the close-ups seem to be getting closer!  😂

Whenever Amy receives criticism she digs in her heels and doubles down on the stupidity.

Just wait until Chris has to deal with THAT Amy.... the stubborn, angry, bitter little pill that always thinks she's right.
