Here is what I hope will happen...Cane will move to wherever Lily is and never come back.  The twins will stay in GC and live with Devon while they finish school.  Hopefully they would be woven into the rest of the cast.  Cane and Lily could be nicely killed off on their way home to GC when she gets out of prison.  We already know the actress is gone; Cane (at least the actor who portrays him) should follow.  Never to see his pasty, dead-eyed face again would mean Santa has come early this year.  They could recast the character if need be.  Winning.

Kemper! You have read my mind! I watched today’s show and couldn’t understand anything whispering Cane said to the twins or to Devon. I know I mention this often on this site and also on B&B when it comes to Ridge. I just had my hearing tested with my ENT.  I have yearly checkups with her because of my previous ear problems. My hearing is just fine so it’s obviously these two morons who cannot speak although everyone else on their shows is easy to hear and understand. I cannot stand either one of these characters and their whispering just makes it worse.

Yes!  It is worse.  He is pastier and older-looking than ever.  Maybe he is worried about his Dad being in an accident?  Of which he posted pictures!  I think the same person that cuts Nick's and Arturo's hair is also cutting his.  We could maybe salvage the character with a recast.

We didn't even need the first Cane after it came out that P3 was not only not dead but was never switched to begin with. Bye, Felicia ?

There are plenty enough men in his age range on the canvas, he won't be missed one bit.

(That's one thing Y&R still seems to do fairly well: a nice balance of male and female characters so that if one ship isn't working out, there are more than one feastible option. Or in Tessa's case, they pair her up with her ex's sister. NGL, I thought B&B would have done that before Y&R, but...hey)

Victoria Rowell wasn’t fired. She quit. Then she trashed every one on the show and BTS. Then she launched a suit trashing every one on the show and BTS. I highly recommend you read her suit. It’s quite something. (She claims among other things that MTS put on an Afro wig and leapt around the set to make fun of VR.) And CBS didn’t write/launch it. She did. Also she wrote a “novel” trashing everyone onscreen and BTS.

I really loved Dru and her portrayal. I agree the Winters died when she fell off the cliff.

I also think CBS (from Moonves on down) is gross and their all white executive and writing teams are a shameful thing.

None of that precludes VR from being, if not crazy, not someone anyone would want on a show she has trashed for years and years and working alongside actors she has personally attacked for years and years.

I wouldn’t hire someone back under those circumstances. No matter their sex or race.

I am happy to report that I was correct, but also unhappy to report that I was correct, because now Mariah's heart will be broken.  Sigh.  At the end of the show today, we learn that Tessa has a duffel bag of money in her closet so she is indeed the blackmailer.  Which Mariah almost discovered, and surely will soon enough.

Poor Mariah. Tessa is a lying liar who lies. And not even a good one. Mariah confronts Tessa, who comes up with a bunch of lame excuses as to why she has $250,000 dollars lying around in a duffle bag. Some excuses include she sold a song. To a guy. But she didn't tell Mariah because she stole her lyrics/words from her diary again. Oh, but she can't sing this supposed song, and why can't Mariah just let it go. Blah blah blah. 

Rey's wife is so needy and trying to stake her claim on 'her man.' Girl, instead of clinging to him every chance you get like a barnacle, why don't you just pee on him and be done with it? Mia tells Sharon she knows she wants her man and to back off. Oooh. 

Phyllis, Lauren and the new chemist have a photoshoot. Billy is not invited. Phyllis forgets and freaks out because she's not dressed and isn't wearing any make-up. Mia, Rey's wife, just happens to be a stylist and make-up artist and saves the day. Could. Not. Care. Less. 

Mariah, by far, is this show's only saving grace. And Mia needs a girdle. I kept wondering if she was pregnant.

I only saw a bit of the show today.  I did manage to see Lauren in a really pretty tan/camel maybe cape.  One of the nicest things I have seen her wear; she was covered up.  But what was with the sleeves?  Kind of The Handmaid's Tale look.  They were white, really big and poufy - so unlike anything I have ever seen; it almost looked like you could put a small child in each one.  But I guess since Lauren is supposed to be a Fashionista (Ladies-of-the-evening Division) they must be the latest thing.

UO here but I kinda am liking Sharon and Rey. Flove Jack and Kyle ! Lola is a real breath of freshness. She is an example of a strong woman. The stupid bull going on at Jabot is not. Remember when she worked that one evening for Nick?  He had her transfer files.  In explaining it all to Mariah she first shows Mariah the footage that Nick unknowingly had from the files he stole from Newman.  They were JT's files and she was going through them while transferring and saw footage of the coven loading JT's body into Vic's vehicle.  He apparently had cameras installed to keep an eye on Vic.   JT also had a tracker on Vic's vehicle, so she could see that they drove to Chancellor Park and back.  JT also had a tracker on his watch, I guess, so Tessa went to the precise location and she ended up by the statue and assumed he must be buried down there.  Plus she kept seeing the coven in those intense conversations at CL.  She put it all together and went: Ka-ching!

As for Mariah, she is devastated and leaves.  But I don't think she took the ugly afghan with her.
