Now I had Abigail pegged from day one as a mean girl...the kind who is sickeningly sweet to your face while she flirts with your boyfriend behind your back.  I was never a fan.  Yup, I got all this from watching a reality show LOL

Hahhaha, Didnt she steal Rycroft's boyfriend or something. She went to Coppell High School here in Texas, im not saying the school grows some nasty people but lets say whenever we played them it was a blood bath in anything because how arrogant they entire community is. Its like a creepy cult.

I think she got guilty by Association, I dont think she was mean either she was def in this clique though..I would add abigail and Mia to this group too

Was Justine a mean girl?  She always seemed like a sweetheart.  I also always think of her as hanging out with Sarah, Christina P, MacKenzi and Megan F.

To Clarify,

The "Mean Girls"

Trevinos

Tia Williams

Brooke Sorenson

Tobie Huff

Abigail Klein

Jordan Baum

Cassie Trammell

Evan Anderson

Michelle Keys

Meredith Oden

Guilty By Association non of the girls below I believe were mean girls at all, but they were in the clique

Kelsi Reich

Jordan Chanley

Ashton Torres

Mia Greenhouse

- Justine Wasnt in the Clique and was not a mean girl she was part of Nicole H. and Starr Spangler's Rookie Class she was above it. It was the girls that got the prime time "fame" from the show

Better yet, don’t bring the newborn. RSV is no joke. It can kill a newborn. The common cold can turn into pneumonia when your baby is under 3 months. I seriously cannot believe Kelsi got on a plane with her newborn and then brought her to a wedding full of people. During cold and flu season. I seriously try not to judge other moms, but that is just dangerous. Breast milk helps keep babies healthy, but it’s not a magical preventive of disease.

Personally, I have no problem with it, but I immediately wondered what former poster QuiteContraryMary would’ve said about it...

Amen!!!

RSV can kill a baby.  I can't tell you how many healthy babies I've seen end up on vents for WEEKS because the parents just had to have them out so that people could fawn over them.  And yes...some of them died.  That was the hardest part of my job as a NICU nurse who got pulled to PICU to take care of these babies.  Keep your baby inside and forego the damn wedding.

Oh, how horrible to witness that that. My son had RSV when he was 11 months old and it was so scary. He was in the PICU for several days and needed help breathing. Luckily he came out of it fine, but it was a rough time.

That baby is like really new, right? And they flew? I'd have to veto that idea.

I'm so glad he did ok :) I hate that you had to go thru that though.  It was the hardest part of my job....and honestly, after almost 20 years, it's the part I miss the least.

Anyone who advocates or doesn’t have a problem taking a newborn out in public has never seen a baby sick or die from RSV or pneumonia or meningitis. People just don’t understand how dangerous it is. @Kayce gets it. It’s awful.

I do.  I can't tell you how many times I educated parents before their babies were discharged...about keeping the babies away from crowds...ie: church, weddings, malls, etc.  especially during flu and RSV season, only to see them back in the ICU a few weeks later with RSV or pneumonia. Some were lucky...some weren't :(

I think a lot of it is because "my mother took me out when I was two weeks old and I turned out ok.  My neighbor said, my older sister said, my mother in law said...."  Never mind times have changed, never mind you were lucky.

I have to admit that my first concern for the baby was all the noise, the music and then I was thinking, poor thing having to be around all the people.

It wasn’t a few days. She was warned early, taken out of uniform, then no improvement and she still wasn’t taking it seriously. She at least got to uniform fittings and dancing with Kitty in rehearsal where she was falling out of her turns. When she got cut she was asking about a time frame and losing weight in a healthy way, when she had already had a serious “wake up call” from Kelli.

I think the reason she didn’t get help was because she said “I need to make working out a priority” and Veronica said through tears “I’m frustrated with my body. I’ve been working out and I run every day.”

Thanks for the info. From what they showed you thought there was more to it, but it really seemed like a short while before cutting her. Still I would hope they'd have a frank discussion with those who no longer look acceptable in the uniform and tell them not to come back unless they are in shape and at the weight they agreed to when they signed their contract or at least darned close to it. But maybe they like the drama for TV.

I think there is the "drama" factor.  I also think that when a returning vet comes back heavier, but pretends not to know why and is getting out danced, that's a factor.  And lastly, I think a returning vet who has a kick-ass solo, can perform better than a lot of other vets and the rookies, but is trying to lose weight and owns up to it - that is another factor.  Look at Abigail - she made it back her second season, but was talked to about weight.  Was it overlooked cause she was a fan favorite?  Paige gained 13 pounds and made it back - was she just open about it and said I need help?

Interesting article in my local paper this last week. Reported that no, not all midwives are; or have to be, licensed RNs. Scary, huh?

I  would think most people would feel better with a midwife who's an RN...I personally think a midwife should be similar to a NP in education.

From midwife.org "Programs leading to the CM credential require a Bachelors Degree and specific health and science courses prior to entry," so even without being an RN, I would think they should have the knowledge about a baby being around large crowds.

Isn't a midwife an RN?  They would for sure know enough about exposure to people.

No, not always, and that's scary. Most legit hospital based (or health care facility based) midwifes are NPs - Registered Nurse with additional training, usually Master's degree, to become a Certified Nurse Midwife. Definitely advanced degree. But there are plenty of lay midwives at birthing centers, home births, AKA like the Duggars. Scary.

A real RN, CNM is definitely going to educate about being out in public, be pro vaccination, pro prenatal care, etc. My sister's goal is to become a CNP, so we have researched at least for our area.

We have many nurse midwives that deliver here at my hospital, and we are the largest delivering hospital in the state, and yes...they educate their moms/dads to keep the babies in , especially during flu and rsv season.  If they don't, then they are not doing their job and they are doing a disservice to the babies.

You're right. There are a lot of factors we're not privy to. Again, I didn't care that Hannah was cut. It just felt abrupt. I swear I didn't notice weight on Abigail. She was so darned gorgeous that she'd have to be pretty fat before you'd notice or care.

Abigail def was thicker in the middle. We all love Abigail but she def made show group on her face. So glad she's getting real work as an actress, too. Not superstar but working.

I remember Kelli saying at Abigail's rookie uniform fitting "she's one cheeseburger from poking out".

There was a deleted scene featuring her and Erica working out cause they had come back heavier.  I think Erica was saved from being cut cause she had a great solo.  Of course, that was the year 5 vets were cut, Dara and Nicole flunked their written tests, and the returning vets got chewed out in the locker room.  And then the next year, at the first meeting, the girls were seated by how they ranked at auditions.  Weren't those the good old days:/

I remember Erica getting called in about her solo outfit. I thought it was Nicole and Justine. Kelli did call out Justine for something because she was sitting near the back row  (@ 1st  TC meeting) which was the order of how they did on the tests.
