Wow, didn't realize Sunny took a weight loss aid - what a farce!  After a lifelong struggle with weight, I certainly understand why Ana & Whoopi finally decided to get some drug help, as both have appeared somewhat plump in the past.  But Sunny has always been very slender, & an extra 40 lbs on her tall frame probably wasn't very noticeable, especially since she also is athletic & physically active.  I can't believe that the (apparently) first time she gains weight as a prominent adult, she runs to the pharmacy.  Must be nice to be sooper-rich & married to a health professional. Just one more "weigh" she can lord it over the rest of us peasants!  I appreciate Sunny's legal knowledge & feel she's a great asset to the panel, but often find her quite self-righteous.

Thank you for this! I had to hold back in posting a snarky and angry response to the link above.

Like you, I didn't notice any weight gain on Sunny-and we know that the camera adds 10 pounds.  And Sunny looked no different to me.

I've already vented my spleen in the episode threads here and elsewhere, but Sunny can just take SEVERAL SEATS. She is not anywhere CLOSE to those women and men who have diabetes, are pre-diabetic, or obese, who need this medication. It's not a WEIGHT LOSS DRUG. But that is one of the benefits-you lose weight. Oprah can also STFU. I was stressing and my blood pressure shot through the roof because of greedy doctors and people like Oprah, Sunny, Ana, and the like, who used it for weight loss only, thus causing Ozempic to go out of stock, so they got Trulicity (which was my medication) and THAT went out of stock, and I didn't know WHEN it would be back and what my options would be. Then I got Mounjaro. For a month. Then it was out of stock! Luckily, it came back in stock, so I'm good through the end of June.

Sunny, instead of stuffing her face, maybe also exercise. Because we know it works for her, instead of taking the lazy route and also-no one knows what long term use effects will be.

IMO Sunny & Alyssa both looked great at the White House correspondents' dinner, as they usually do on The View, but A, like most women, woulda looked even better if she'd either covered her knees or - horrors - worn hose.  I'm not the first to believe that knees ain't especially attractive, sorry/not sorry.  Hose kinda smooth the knobbiness.  (Old school here, just my View.)

I don't think Sunny or Sara's fashion choices are usually bad; it's the makeup and hair that can be questionable at times. When I see criticisms of Sunny's style here, it's usually that she's too old for a look like that. You don't have to worry about things like that when styling someone like Alyssa. Even then, they sometimes miss the mark when it comes to her:

Oh that is awful!!!

Mark deserves it, but Kelly R. doesn't.  Only watched Kelly C. a couple of times & didn't like it, so ...

I've only watched a few segments but I feel the opposite.  I'm sure Mark is a nice guy but I find him hard to watch.  He seems to think he's charming and witty, he's not.

And just to keep this on topic, Sunny annoys me even when she's wearing a gold gown.  Though she does look very nice.

The show is also making a significant change to its Behind the Table podcast, which is hosted by The View’s executive producer Brian Teta (this season will be his 10th leading the program). In addition to being available on all podcast platforms, ABC says that for the first time the podcast series will also be available on YouTube.

Have they been losing viewers? And now think a new set and Behind the Table on Youtube will attract more?

The article says views are up:

The View is coming off a strong season, with a three-year high in total viewers, and marking its fourth-straight year as the most watched daytime talk show.

ABC is moving all of their NYC studios downtown, not just The View

Just a note that starting this season, Youtube not only shows clips of The View, now they show the entire show including the intro and walk-out.

Speaking of the walkouts in the new season, I don't like the camera shot being so far away.  One of the things I've always enjoyed is seeing their outfits as they walk out.  Now, I can barely see them.

How long after the live show ends does this appear?

I'm in the central time zone and the youtube clips start being uploaded at 1pm.

Edit: Okay so I just checked and it looks like the clips go up at 1pm but the full episode isn't uploaded until 3:45pm.

I miss seeing their whole outfits up close too. Someone should give Brian this feedback on his podcast hotline.

Well, I could sense a little tension between Joy and Ana ages ago, but I think they're still friends more or less. Ana was always closer to Sunny of the cast.

But you can sense Brian's bias as EP at play there. If Ana had asked something direct like that to Alyssa, the co-hosts would be getting the kumbaya talk afterwards because Alyssa's a special snowflake.

I never minded them dressing up for Halloween because The View is largely an entertainment show, not CNN. But I'm glad they aren't doing it all the same just because those shows are always so boring, they only talk about fluff on days like that.

That's me too. I enjoy seeing elaborate Halloween costumes, and The View is not a hard news show. But I don't enjoy the topics as much during their holiday shows. If I want pure fluff, I'll watch Andy Cohen or something.

Here is the video upload of the podcast event they did a couple weeks ago. It was a fun conversation with some hilarious moments. It did catch me off guard at first to hear the uncensored f-bombs, especially coming out of Sara's mouth lol.

In defense of Sara, she was quoting Brian Teta.
