So mind-numbingly stupid.  First the horse just stands there calmly as Daryl and Rick fight about what Rick is/is not going to do while the herd approaches.  Horse doesn't move.  Looks calm.  Then when horse again sees walkers (that didn't bother him in the least 10 minutes ago), he gets a wee bit upset and Rick falls off horse.  Then horse walks off a few steps and stands calmly as two herds get closer and closer.   Yes.  That happens.
