nodorothyparker March 22, 2017 Share March 22, 2017 Q&A spoilers from TSDF Army page for Something They Need: Spoiler What happens with the group's encounter at Oceanside? Using some of the explosives Rick and Co. found on the highway, they are able to corral everyone at Oceanside at one place. Except for Natania and Cyndie. Tara confronts them at gunpoint in their house. Rick tells them they are there to take their guns to fight the Saviors, but they also want them to join them in the fight. They certainly don't want to hurt them. In the end, it seems like most of them want to join Rick, but Natania said no way. Since she's the leader, they bow down and give Rick their weapons (ALL of them). How does the conversation between Rick and Natania go? It goes completely nowhere. Natania is finally able to overpower Tara and has a gun pointed to her head. Rick tells Natania that if she kills Tara then she'll die too, but she doesn't care. She'd rather die than to send her people into a battle they can't win. Enid is the one who finally steps up and hits Natania in the head with a rock to level the playing field, but Natania still doesn't bend. Do Tara and Cyndie talk? Does Cyndie feel betrayed? At first, but by the end of the episode, Cyndie forgives her. She even thanks Tara for what she's doing (trying to make the world be run by good people instead of bullies like the Saviors). In the sneak peek we see Gregory looking at his knife with Maggie. Does he consider attacking her? What happens? Yes, that little slime ball! Maggie asks Gregory to keep watch for walkers while she's planting some vegetables, and the asshole actually considers killing her right there. Shortly after, a walker attacks Gregory. It's obvious he has never killed a walker before. He screams for Maggie like a little girl and she has to save his ass. What does Negan do when Sasha attacks the Sanctuary? He locks her in the cell, but it's not quite as bad as Daryl. She still has her clothes, and she's given good food and bedding (oh, and no Easy Street either.) When Negan finally shows up, he basically offers to make her one of his top lieutenants (in time of course) because of her "beachball lady nuts" After Sasha is taken prisoner, does a Savior try to attack her in her cell? What happens? Yes, the Savior David comes into her cell and tries to rape her, but Negan walks in on him. In return, David gets a knife through the neck. How does Eugene feel about Sasha being a prisoner? He's a little distraught, but ultimately encourages her to join Negan. What request does Sasha make to Eugene? Why? She begs Eugene to give her something "to end it." She knows full well Negan's going to use her to hurt her friends, and she can't live with that. Eugene obliges. She might have been asking for a weapon so she could actually take out Negan. When Eugene slips the suicide pills under the cell door, she seems surprised and upset. How does the episode end? It ends with Rick and Co. returning from Oceanside to be greeted by Rosita at the gate. She says they have a visitor, and that's when she leads Rick to Dwight who says he can help. Daryl tries to attack Dwight, but Rosita stops him and says he really wants to help. Then Rick asks if that's true. Dwight says "Yes," and then Rick pulls his gun and orders Dwight to his knees. Fade to black. Bonus: * Negan hears from "a little birdie" that Rick is making plans and so he prepares to head to Alexandria. Gregory gets ready to go to the Sanctuary in this episode, but doesn't leave yet so Negan didn't hear it from him. * Good scene with a mini-herd of some cool looking walkers at Oceanside. Rick and Co have to take them all out. * Eugene tells Sasha the reason why he has joined Negan is because when he was in that Lucille line-up it was the most scared he's been in his entire life. Then it was "rinse and repeat" when it happened to Glenn. He can't feel that way again, and by being at the Sanctuary that ensures he never will. So this appears to be the week Rick and crew finally go full-blown thieves in strong arming another group. Tell me again why we're rooting for these people. 4 Link to comment

Now that Team Rick has ALL the guns, I suppose they're going to turn them over to the GPK...a group that they have no idea what side they're on, or if they even know how to fight. Stupid Rick is stupid is something we can always count on. 2 Link to comment

They've been right on about everything, with the exception of the reversal of episodes 13 and 14. Based on this, the battle will "begin" in the finale episode, but appears to be only the first battle of a longer war that will carry over into next season. Reveal hidden contents Episode Breakdown - 7B The following is a breakdown of the episodes in 7b. This is a compilation of filming info and educated speculation that we have gathered throughout the season. It does not cover everything that happens in each episode. While we believe most of this information is accurate, please note that anything can change by the time the episodes air. Huge thanks goes to the sources that helped us with info this season!!! You are the BEST!!! As a friendly reminder, absolutely DO NOT share information from this breakdown on nonspoiler sites. If you are caught, you will be booted with no one exceptions. If you choose to share this with other spoiler sites please make sure you are giving proper credit. Episode 7.9 Characters: Rick, Carl, Michonne, Daryl, Maggie, Rosita, Aaron, Eric, Sasha, Enid, Tara, Jesus, Gregory, Father Gabriel, Ezekiel, Morgan, Carol, Richard, Ben, Jerry, Simon, Tobin, “Garbage Pail Kids” (New junkyard group) and finally…Penis Tree. Location: Hilltop, Kingdom, Highway, Alexandria, Woods Highlights: * Team Family has a meeting with Gregory about fighting the Saviors. He will most likely turn them down. Maggie’s potential leadership is looming. * Jesus leads Rick, Carl, Michonne, Tara, Rosita, Sasha, and Daryl to the Kingdom to meet Ezekiel where Rick tries to convince them to join the war. Rick’s attempt fails and they leave. Daryl stays. * Rick and Co. encounter a herd on the highway and also find explosives (likely the same ones seen in the promo pics). Should be an explosion in this scene. * Father Gabriel encounters the mysterious “Boots” from episode 8. This is speculated to be new character Tamiel from the Garbage Pail Kids. We are supposed to find out her identity in a later episode. “Boots” is rumored to take Father G along with a bunch of Alexandria’s supplies back with her. * Saviors, led by Simon, go to Alexandria, likely looking for Daryl. * Rick, Michonne, Aaron, Tara, and Rosita go looking for Father G and encounter the new junkyard group (and the penis tree). Episode 7.10 Characters: Rick, Michonne, Tara, Aaron, Rosita, Father Gabriel, Daryl, Carol, Morgan, Ezekiel, Morgan, Richard, Daniel, Jerry, Ben(?), Jadis, Brion, Tamiel, (NEW!) Garbage Pail Kids Location: Kingdom, Carol’s Creepy House of Horrors, Junkyard Highlights: * Rick’s group goes back to the new group’s headquarters at a junkyard. Rick is forced to fight a crazy spiked walker in their junkyard fighting pit. This is supposed to be some kind of test to prove Team Family’s worth. Rick wins… * Rick tries to make an alliance with their leader Jadis in order to help grow his army against the Saviors. By the end of their encounter a deal is made. Rick is asked to bring the GPK more guns in exchange for their assistance. * Richard is still desperate to fight the Saviors. He devises a plan which involves leading the Saviors to Carol and baiting them into killing her. He thinks her death could encourage Zeke to agree to war. Daryl supposedly goes along with this plan until he learns Carol is the target. This is supposed to trigger a fight which can be seen briefly in the trailer for 7b. * Daryl finds where Carol has been staying and visits her. The two share a hug or two and talk. Carol cooks for Daryl. We do not believe that Daryl tells her what happened with Glenn and Abe. He ends up leaving the house and goes back to the Kingdom. * It’s rumored that Daryl makes “friends” with Shiva. Episode 7.11 Characters: Negan, Dwight, Eugene, Dr. Emmett Carson, Negan’s harem, other Saviors Location: The Sanctuary, Dwight’s former house(?) Highlights: * Most of the episode appears to take place at the Sanctuary. * Eugene cooperates and is put to work for Negan. He supposedly gains status, which grants him access to some amenities. His experience at the Sanctuary should be much different than Daryl’s. * Dwight visits a house, which belonged to him and Sherry before the ZA. We think something will happen here that might be the start of what will become Dwight's turncoat arc from the comics. * It will be revealed who wrote the note and helped Daryl escape. (Sherry) * It’s speculated that Dr. Emmett Carson (the Doc at the Sanctuary) will take the fall for Daryl’s escape and be killed. Episode 7.12 Characters: Rick, Michonne, Tara, Father Gabriel, Rosita, Sasha, Judith, Garbage Pail Kids Location: School (with carnival), Alexandria, Junkyard, Woods, Hilltop Highlights: * Rick and Michonne go scavenging for guns at a school which happens to also have a carnival set up there. Military trucks and tents were also at the filming location. Rick and Michonne will share some sexy times as well as moments of levity in this episode. * Rick has a close call while fighting a large group of walkers and almost doesn’t make it out of alive. * Rick, Michonne, Tara, Rosita, and Father Gabriel make a visit to the junkyard, presumably to turn over guns they scavenged as per their agreement. * Rosita visits the Hilltop to enlist Sasha’s help with something. Episode 7.13 Characters: Maggie, Daryl, Sasha, Eugene, Rosita, Negan, Simon, Jesus, Enid, Gregory, Dr. Harlan Carson, Saviors Location: Hilltop, Sanctuary Highlights: * Sasha and Rosita apparently go rogue on a mission to the Sanctuary. Seems like they are on a suicide mission to take out Negan on their own. * There’s a scene where Rosita and Sasha set a car on fire. Then later another scene where a few Saviors are herding walkers into storage containers, using water jugs to cover their heads. Rosita and Sasha take out these Saviors. * Sasha makes it inside the Sanctuary while Rosita does not. * There are rumors that Eugene gets an opportunity to be rescued but turns it down. What’s goin’ on there, Eugene? * Saviors come to Hilltop and take Dr. Harlan Carson. Maggie and Daryl have to hide and are almost discovered. * There's whispers that it will be revealed that Jesus is gay. Episode 7.14 Characters: Carol, Ezekiel, Morgan, Ben, Richard, Jerry, Daniel, other Kingdom people Location: Kingdom, Carol’s house, other outside areas Highlights: * According to information listed in casting calls and other rumors that have surfaced, both Richard and Ben die in this episode. * At this time, we think Ben’s death will be caused by some shady dealings from Richard during a supply drop. We’ll call it “melon-gate.” It’s believed that he will stir up a conflict between the Saviors and the Kingdomers as another attempt to get Ezekiel to fight back. But Ben will end up paying the price with his life. * Morgan was seen dragging Richard’s body. We believe Ben’s death will trigger Morgan to regress back into “crazy mode” and he will kill Richard as a result. His life wasn’t all that precious, was it Morgan? * It's speculated that Morgan will go back to Carol and eventually tell her what happened to Glenn and Abe. Carol filmed at the Kingdom, so it appears she goes back to encourage Zeke to fight. Episode 7.15 Characters: Rick, Michonne, Carl, Tara, Father Gabriel, Jesus, Daryl, Maggie, Aaron, Negan, Sasha, Gregory, Tobin, Eric, Natania, Cyndie, Rachel, Beatriz, Kathy Location: Sanctuary, Hilltop, Oceanside Highlights: * Tara ends up breaking her promise to Cyndie and tells Rick about their group. They travel to Oceanside along with a large group of Alexandrians. * Since they brought such a large group to Oceanside, it seems that their initial meetings might not be entirely peaceful. We suspect there will be conflicts and the Oceanside women might not agree to fight. However, Team Family does appear to get a hold of their weapons. * Supposed to be some really cool ocean walkers in this episode. * Sasha will become Negan's prisoner. Very possible we could see a remix of that comic Holly scene where a Savior makes an aggressive advance on Sasha. Probably won't end well for that Savior. Episode 7.16 Characters: Rick, Michonne, Carl, Daryl, Maggie, Sasha, Rosita, Tara, Negan, Eugene, Jesus, Dwight, Simon, Father Gabriel, Aaron, Eric, Enid, Carol, Morgan, Judith, Ezekiel, Scott, Tobin, Jadis, Tamiel, Brion, Jerry, Daniel, Dianne, Eduardo, GPK, Saviors Location: Sanctuary, Hilltop, Alexandria Highlights: * Negan catches word about Rick gathering an army and heads to ASZ with his Savior troops. Sasha and Eugene are also with him. From what we have heard, Sasha does not arrive alive. * There's rumors that Michael Cudlitz came back to film for the finale. Most likely a flashback/ dream sequence involving Sasha's death. * The Garbage Pail Kids are also at ASZ and filming reports suggest that they do fire at Team Family. Looks like they double crossed our heroes and fight alongside Negan. * Episode is basically a chaotic battle, LOTS of gunfire, smoke, and possible explosions. * Rick and Rosita are supposedly shot. Injuries do not seem serious. * Eugene tells Team Family they should surrender. Appears to be siding with the Saviors. (Come on, man!) * Whispers of a possible remix of the second line up scene from the comics. We are hearing it will be much smaller and might only involve Rick and Carl. Negan might attempt to Lucille Carl, only to be saved by the Kingdomers (Shiva!!!) at the last second. Hilltoppers eventually join in on the fun when they arrive a little later. *Michonne filmed on a large crane during the finale. This appears to be a remix of the Andrea tower scene from the comics, only it will involve Michonne and a member of the GPK. * Saviors and GPK were both witnessed retreating during filming. The battle has been won and war has officially begun! Reports of speeches, chanting, and cheering during filming. Looks like the end of the episode will be everyone (ASZ, Hilltop, Kingdom) rallying together, ready for all out war. 1 Link to comment
JackONeill March 24, 2017 Share March 24, 2017 (edited) I'm wondering if the swan song for this show will be the battle with Negan. Ratings have been slipping, which suggests the audience is bored, turned off, or has something better to do, like, maybe, getting root canals. The actors have to be getting bored. You have your time committed to this show, yet you only get three speaking lines. Yes, I know the comic continues. Yes, AMC is desperate for the show to continue, no matter the quality. But if they had a full season (all of next season) to show the battle...well, that could be epic. Of course, TPTB would probably still fuck it up. But honestly, I just don't see how they can sustain interest after the battle of a lifetime with Negan. I mean, I'm already bored and this IS the battle of a lifetime. nodorothyparker March 24, 2017 Share March 24, 2017 TPTB keep saying they see the show going for several more seasons, but I wonder too where exactly they see it going. It's already in a mind-numbing place of rinse and repeat with each new big bad being the absolute worst ever just as they look to finally be settling in somewhere to do some actual world building. What on earth can follow Negan? A troupe of tap dancing clowns who kill with exploding pies while speaking only in haiku? But if they don't keep upping the ante, how many of the 10ish million still tuning in every week are going to keep tuning in to watch Maggie plant potatoes and discuss trade agreements between groups? I know I'm completely bored with 90 percent of the crew we started this journey with. The only characters I'm still at all interested in are the Kingdom crew and their assorted hangers on and I'm honestly not sure at this point how much of that is truly about them and how much is about the fact that they aren't so relentlessly dour and don't feel completely played out yet. 7 Link to comment

But hey, lots of death and suffering for my amusement...? That's probably just me being optimistic. :D 3 Link to comment
scrb March 24, 2017 Share March 24, 2017 (edited) The show just has no narrative drive. Breaking Bad was heading towards a climax because the situation Walt was in was untenable in the long run. Or Kimball trying for years to find the one-armed man. With TWD, this show isn't going anywhere except maybe in circles. They will always find conflict and the main characters have to find their warrior selves which they always do -- how many times did Rick have to decide he's got to be a badass general leading his troops into battle -- because this show has devolved into one tribal battle after another, rinse and repeat. Too bad the Washington plot was a ruse by Eugene which lasted only a few episodes. Let's say they went to Washington, didn't find what they wanted but found another clue to pursue, but they were diverted with these wars against other groups, who didn't care about pursuing a global solution which would help everyone. At least they could have a season of battles against the Saviors and then as soon as that was over, they try to pick up the scent again, instead of being mired in these pointless survival or survivalist battles. They characters would be more interesting if they are shown striving to improve their lot, rather than driven by more basic emotions -- survive at all costs, vengeance, grief, battle fatigue, etc. Once they defeat Negan and the Saviors, what next, they're going to live in peaceful harmony, trading with Hilltop, Oceanside, the Kingdom? That can't last because this is an action-driven show so there has to be another existential threat. Rinse and repeat. Edited March 25, 2017 by scrb 8 Link to comment
Haleth March 25, 2017 Share March 25, 2017 Whatever comes next, there needs to be a payoff from the Negan storyline soon. As far as I can tell no one thinks "oh, good! Another Negan episode!" Most viewers (here, at least) are bored/frustrated/annoyed by him and the Saviors. We've wasted a whole season on characters either cowering in fear or plotting to take him down. The plot HAS to start moving forward. If the writers are going to continually insult us with the same damn thing week after week they will continue to lose viewers week after week. I only saw the last 20 mins of the last episode and had zero interest in watching what I'd missed on demand. First episode I've missed since I started watching this show. If the battle gets dragged out without any payoff (by which I mean Negan gets taken down) I will quickly lose interest in next season too. 5 Link to comment
mightysparrow March 26, 2017 Share March 26, 2017 So Rick takes ALL of Oceanside's guns? And he's supposed to be the hero of this joint? I'm curious to see how Tara responds to Dwight showing up offering his 'help'. He killed her lover; is she just supposed to say 'no harm, no foul'? It sounds like the 'war' is going to be an opportunity for thrills and chills but will there be any storytelling? 2 Link to comment

I know right? I wish the overall narrative was them still trying to find the cause and the cure of the epidemic. The little side excursions with Alexandria, Terminus, Negan etc. could just be that -- side excursions that make their journey treacherous, but they still stay on their journey. What would really be nice, when it comes to character turnover, rather than always have people dying as a character exit have Rick & Co. stumble upon these settlements, take a breather (or fight) and move on continuing on their quest. When a character needs to go, somebody could just decide they want to stay in whatever settlement rather than keep on searching. Right now, there is no story except fight, fight, fight. There is no growth or forward momentum instead Rick & Co. always come across some group, introduce or are the catalyst for conflict, and then leave devastation in their wake. It becomes nothing but character study with not plot. 8 Link to comment

Yeah, I read this somewhere before, but the characters don't have to know that. Even if there is no cure ever, the characters can still quest and even follow false leads and get their hopes up then dashed like with the CDC plotline and move on to the next thing, follow the next rumor, meet up with people who can give them some dribs or drabs of information of how it started. How about even crossing paths with a pathologist or an epidemiologist? And even so... the tv show can still diverge from the comic. Comic books can have a forever shelf life, just look at the various iterations of Marvel & DC super heroes over time. But a tv show doesn't. The two media are different and the expectations are different. 5 Link to comment
scrb March 26, 2017 Share March 26, 2017 Apparently he has a lot of say in how the TV show goes. And given the ratings it has had, AMC probably has no problems with the present path, unless ratings fall off a cliff. I guess the show kind of teased it, when Rick agreed they should go to DC. They even had a scene of him looking at the infant daughter, as if to suggest he wanted a better future for her. But then they killed that dream quickly enough with Eugene admitting it was a fraud. Maybe that was the show's way of teasing or trolling fans who wanted a path to a cure. I believe the CDC episode in S1 or S2 was when Frank Darabont was still in charge of the show. Maybe he might have gone in a different direction if he were still in charge. 1 Link to comment

The Mighty Peanut March 29, 2017 Share March 29, 2017 (edited) Ok. I told y'all I'd summarize it for you. ❤ Sasha dreams about Abe. It's a flashback--he tells her Maggie is sick and they're going to Hilltop. Negan wakes her up in her cell and tells her it's time to make big plans. No specifics at this point. Another flashback, this time Maggie and Sasha bonding over having lost a sibling. This is from around the time they met Aaron. Dwight shows up, Daryl and Tara want to kill him; Rick lets him talk; Dwight says he wants to kill Negan. He says the reason he was willing to live under Negan's rules is gone. Tara really, really, really wants to kill Dwight. Daryl reluctantly lets him live per Rick. Tara is super pissed. Rosita walks in and announces Sasha is captured and possibly dead. Jesus is mad at Rosita and Sasha. Dwight says Negan is coming to Alexandria tomorrow; he can distract/ambush them and help CDB to sanctuary. More Abe flashbacks. Sasha and Negan scene. He has just told her some kind of plan, and it involves deaths. Sasha reluctantly agrees, but she has something else in mind. Meanwhile, Maggie at Hilltop considers joining CDB despite explicit orders not to. At the kingdom, Carol has gone full Shane, or really, Full Carol. She is preparing for war. Morgan is going to go alone and he is bringing his stick. He is wearing Ben's armor. Ezekiel is not happy. He wants to plan more and go in united. Junkyard folks join CDB, but betray them. Negan’s plan is to deliver alive Sasha in a coffin as if he's bringing CDB their dead, but he is going to have her pop out and attack CDB. Sasha swallows Eugene's poison while in the coffin knowing that Negan will be opening the casket. She becomes a walker! Sasha the Walker attacks Negan when he opens the coffin but he doesn't die. All hell breaks lose. Michonne almost dies but she's ok. The fight ends but Negan lives. He says “they are going to war.” Maggie puts down Walker Sasha. Ezekiel, CDB, Carol, Morgan, and GPK prepare for war. Again. edit: the kingdom comes and carol basically kills everyone again. Also, Shiva eats the saviors for lunch. Literally. And for what? We know what's coming. Negan will die. I mean, there's no secret about that, and it's only a matter of who will get to do "the honors." And if they keep killing off people, there might not be anyone left to kill Negan. 3 Link to comment
nodorothyparker March 29, 2017 Share March 29, 2017 I'm taking a wait and see on most of this. I'm not familiar with this page or its sourcing and TSDF Army, which is reliable, hasn't posted anything definitive yet as far as I know. I mean, there was a spoiler floating somewhere within the last week that the junkyard dance troupe will turn on Rick as soon as he gives them his stolen guns, so who knows? Dwight is already in the cell and Rosita has already done her little head shake when they asked about Sasha at the end of the last episode. A couple of these things are straight out of previews that are already circulating, like Morgan wearing Ben's armor, or even contradict them. I know I've seen one of Ezekiel and Carol battle ready and walking Shiva on a chain as they try to talk Morgan into coming with them, which I admit made my fangirl heart very happy. 2 Link to comment

It's always best to be suspicious, and I know there are some sources that are better than others at giving info. But, as to the largest point: Negan will be living at the end of this episode, and into next season sometime!!!!! Guaranteed!!!! And something will "happen" with Sasha's character, be it death or, maybe, she'll get a hankering to run off and find Heath. I also predict there will be a lot of "assembling" (gathering troops) and pontificating, e.g., Rick speechifying as to why his bad idea is really a good idea. Back will be his full-on bluster. "Together, we can do this." Then he'll turn to the crowd and ask, "Who's with me? Glenn, Dale, Lori, Abraham, Tyrese...anyone?" And there will have to be one if not two (or three) speeches from Negan. Will there be time for anything else???? 1 Link to comment
nodorothyparker March 29, 2017 Share March 29, 2017 Haven't we already known that JDM is signed to play Negan through next season? I could swear I'd already read that somewhere and did the big eyeroll and internal groan thing. After last year's cliffhanger debacle, I'm not holding my breath that there's going to be any truly satisfactory resolution to this interminable mess of a story this season. 3 Link to comment
Lady Iris March 29, 2017 Share March 29, 2017 So we're getting ready for WAR, then it stops and more getting ready for more WAR next season? *yawwwwwwwwwwn* 6 Link to comment
Dobian March 29, 2017 Share March 29, 2017 CDB, Saviors, Hilltop, Kingdom, Garbage Pail Kids, Oceanside all wipe each other out. Out of the smoke strides Shiva, and the handful of survivors flock to her side. All of them extras in red shirts. Shiva becomes the mighty ruler of the post-ZA, and eventually is elevated to God status in their new religion. The series ends in a flash-forward many generations later of a grandfather telling his grandchildren the story of Shiva the Great as they prepare for the annual virgin sacrifice and Festival of the Tiger God. HAIL SHIVA!! Well I can dream anyway. 4 Link to comment

If they announced he'd signed for 3 shows (or whatever the number actually ends up being), that would be too spoillery. Link to comment
nodorothyparker March 29, 2017 Share March 29, 2017 True. But given TPTB from Kirkman to Gimple's fanboy gushing over the character, I'd be highly surprised if they weren't going to drag this out as long as they possibly can and get their money's worth. It'd be a bigger shocker to me at this point if Negan wasn't with us for a very long time yet to come. 3 Link to comment
The Mighty Peanut March 29, 2017 Share March 29, 2017 I'm not sure if I can post comic spoilers in the show spoiler thread, so just to be cautious: Spoiler Multiple seasons worth of events have occurred and Negan is still alive. He is captured and held in Morgan's jail for a time. He bonds with Carl. So, I'm not disappointed in that regard since it was expected. I still think the pacing has sucked and am pissed they are just now getting down to business. I've heard a lot of reviews and podcasts suggest that the second half of the season justified all the setup, and I couldn't disagree more. They had multiple 90 minute episodes and they wasted so much time. 6 Link to comment
Gobi March 29, 2017 Share March 29, 2017 I think the last scene will be of Zeke getting killed, and a sitting Shiva. I'll let myself out. 6 Link to comment

Mu Shu March 30, 2017 Share March 30, 2017 I don't care if Negan lives or dies . Someone needs to bring me Tara's head on a platter. That all sounds like an anticlimac cliffhanger to me. As long as Gregory lives to be a cowardly weasel for another episode, I'll live with it. And fuck those stupid GPKs. I hope their asses get stabbed up and burnt by Carol, or taken captive by the saviors. Screw those malingerers. Damn it Rick. One Cyndi would have been worth the whole lot of those carpetbaggers. 4 Link to comment
tawny411 March 30, 2017 Share March 30, 2017 The best part is Shiva eating some Saviors. I hope that part is true. Too bad it won't be Negan. 1 Link to comment
The Mighty Peanut March 30, 2017 Share March 30, 2017 Thanks for the spoilers TSDF Army The time has come! After some stellar offerings in the back half, the season 7 finale is almost here! There have been some spoilers making their way around, some of which are a bit all over the place, so we thought we'd make some clarifications and confirmations ahead of the finale. Much has been accurate and we hope this will put some things together in a concise manner for you. Feel free to ask questions – we’ll be replying with comments/posts. It’s the finale, Buttercups! 1. Will Sasha commit suicide with the pills Eugene gave her? Yes, she does actually take the pills and will ultimately attack Negan as a walker (but she doesn't bite him.) The episode will open with Sasha in a dark, confined space listening to music. She has taken the pills by this time and is floating in and out of consciousness or memory, having conversations with Abe and Maggie. There will be a lot of these flashbacks. It will be blended well between current and past actions as not to seem that confusing. It’s done this way because of Sasha’s reflection of what her life is up to this point. Is she ready to do what she has to do? Has she really lived and made something with her life, and going out doing something even when the situation has her trapped? Sasha takes the pills while inside a coffin that she voluntarily chooses to stay inside during the ride to Alexandria. When they get to Alexandria, Negan threatens to kill Sasha if Rick doesn't hand over the guns. Rick demands to show him that she's still alive. So, Negan opens the coffin expecting Sasha to be alive when surprise! Walker Sasha emerges and tries to bite Negan. He gets caught up in a tarp as he is fighting her off and they fall on the back of the truck. It's a close call, but Negan does not get bit. At the end of the episode Maggie and Jesus find Sasha in the woods. Jesus holds Sasha down while Maggie ends it with a knife. 2. Will Jadis and the Scavengers turn on team family? Yes. As suspected, Jadis is the "little birdie" who has been working for Negan all along. Tamiel may have been the one sent to do the dirty work but as Jadis is the leader, she is responsible. When the Scavengers first arrive at Alexandria they appear to still be on Rick's side. There will be a funny moment where Jadis in her robot-speak will ask Michonne if she cares if she has sex with Rick. The ick factor will be high with this one. However, when Negan arrives they turn their guns on Team Family, acknowledging that they got a better deal with Negan. 3. Where the hell is Judith? She’s safe at the Hilltop. Enid/Jesus/Maggie (holding Judith) are talking and Maggie is deciding what to do to help Rick and ASZ. Presumably, since Judith is already there, Rick came to see Maggie and asked that they stay out of this one just in case they needed backup. Maggie is considering whether to respect his ask or say screw it and go and help. She figures since if Negan knows what they’re up to then he'll need her help. Jesus is pleased that she is making the decision instead of Gregory. (Aren’t we all?) Enid takes Judith from Maggie and gives her something and walks out. Maggie looks down in her hand- Hershel’s watch. Maggie/Jesus just look at each other-knowing. Maggie makes the decision and Hilltop shows up at the last second to push the battle in Team Family’s favor. 4. Does Eugene show signs of reverting back to supporting Team Family? Unfortunately, no outward signs of it. He and Sasha exchange words as they get ready to leave the Sanctuary to ASZ, and refers to TF as “they” as in “what they’re planning”. Sasha picks up on this. He also tries to talk Rick and ASZ into surrendering when they arrive at ASZ. 5. Is there another “line-up” like in the first episode of the season? This one is the mini line-up like what the graphic novel readers are already familiar with. But it’s only Rick and Carl. Negan says he’s going to kill Carl then let Lucille take Rick’s hands. Rick tells Negan that he can do it right in front of him and then take his hands, but the Saviors are still going to die. Negan takes that to be “permission” to kill Carl, so he raises the bat to crunch Carl (“you just said I could do it”) when Shiva shows up and pounces on a nearby Savior, turning him into tiger chow, causing Negan to immediately stop. Good kitty!! Chaos erupts as a full-blown battle begins. The Kingdomers (including Carol and Morgan) storm in guns blazing, taking down Saviors and Scavengers. Maggie and the Hilltoppers also show up at the last second, much to Negan's disgust. He's quite surprised by the tiger and the fact that Maggie is alive. 6. So is Dwight definitely helping Team Family? Yes, there is a little bit of conflict. Daryl wants to kill Dwight and puts a knife to his face. Tara encourages it. Dwight explains that he can recruit the laborers and go outpost to outpost and clear out the Saviors. They eventually let him go. Dwight tries to stop the Saviors by cutting down the trees in the road. But it just slows them down as they use chainsaws to get rid of the trees. When Dwight returns to Alexandria with the Saviors, he is visibly shooting over Team Family's heads as not to hurt anyone. Also, he was not aware of the deal between the Saviors and Scavengers. We may see Daryl find a chess piece carving by the front gate with a “didn’t know” message on it. 7. Is anyone from Team Family hurt? Rosita and Rick are both shot, but live. Rick is shot by Jadis. 8. Is there a close call for Michonne? Michonne gets in a fight in a brownstone balcony while Rick and Carl are in the mini-lineup. (Comic book readers may see it as a nod to the Andrea tower fight and fall from the comics.) A woman falls from the balcony. The audience will know it wasn’t Michonne, but Rick won’t. It is Farron, a GPK woman. Rick later finds Michonne bruised and bloodied and they share a sweet moment together. 9. How does the episode end? The Saviors and Scavengers retreat after a nice ass whooping from Team Family, Kingdom, and Hilltop. The episode ends with a bit of a nod to Glenn. In a small time jump, it has Maggie talking off-screen showing all the groups now together with the leaders of each group talking to the crowd, discussing the war they’re about to embark upon (we just see them talking, no sound but Maggie’s voice): To suffer and stand, to grieve, to give, to love, to live. To fight for each other. "Glenn made the decision, Rick. I was just following his lead." In the final shot of Maggie’s hand, we see Hershel’s watch with a glint of sunshine reflecting on it. Disclaimer: This information is believed to be accurate at the time of posting. We have heard a lot of noise about possible re-edits this season. So far, we haven't seen any direct evidence of this occurring. However, since this is the finale, please be vigilant of possible minor discrepancies in the airing of the episode. 1 Link to comment
nodorothyparker March 30, 2017 Share March 30, 2017 Yep, there's the spoiler I'd been seeing that everything we've sat through this half season with Rick dealing with the garbage people and going common thief to steal guns for them is only going to end with having those guns turned on them. I'm actually sort of glad head garbage girl shoots his dumb ass although he still won't learn a thing from it and everyone will still proclaim him right and his decisions good as he leads them. If the people you're fighting show up with a tiger that proceeds to eat one of your fighters the smart thing to do would be to take it out before it turns on you, so doing nothing but looking surprised suggests there will be plenty of dumb decision making all around. That's okay though because I find myself weirdly invested in the fate of a CGI tiger. 5 Link to comment
Gobi March 30, 2017 Share March 30, 2017 If this is correct, then I've never been more disappointed in TWD. The GPK and the Saviors are working together, and we've never had a scene with a conversation between Negan and Jadis? I think it would go something like this..... N: Jadis, good to see you, love what you've done with place, never did like that cat sculpture. Time for the big "W". War, that is; time to put on your armor, or scrap metal, or whatever it is, and go toe to toe with Rick's gang. Time to step up to the plate, if you don't mind me mixing metaphors. Not with a bat, naturally. I'm the only one who gets to use a bat. That would be Lucille. Have you met Lucille? Course you have. Hey, did I ever tell you about the time me and Lucille... J: We N: You're ready, yeah I know and appreciate that. What do say we go crush some skulls? Lucille here... J: need N: Need what? A ride to Alexandria? You should have everything. Why I gave explicit instructions... J: more N: More time? Gas? Food? Cars? Hey, I'm here to help. We're not monsters. Just because... J: guns N: Guns? Whatever Rick didn't give you, I'll make up the difference, no problem. After all... J: fully N: Automatic? Fully loaded? J: operational N: Sure, sure. Why I have a whole room of people who don't do anything except clean and maintain our guns. You should see the way... J: guns. N: I heard you. All of the guns will be fully operational. J: All N: All of the guns will be fully operational! J: 200 N: Guns will be fully operational. J: and 30 N: GUNS WILL BE FULLY OPERATIONAL! J: 5 N: GUNS!!! J: guns. We N: AAAAHHHH! [Negan bends backwards too far, snapping his spine.] (With apologies and a tip of the hat to Bob and Ray.) 6 Link to comment
JackONeill March 30, 2017 Share March 30, 2017 I'm sure it will be thrilling. (And I'm not being sarcastic. They do action well on this show.) But, damn, this has been a long-time coming! And why did Rick ever think he could trust the GPK? Oh, it was because of FPP. Well, damn, if that isn't a kick in the pants -- someone actually lied to a priest!?! Link to comment

Haleth April 2, 2017 Share April 2, 2017 I'm disappointed Sasha is going to be killed off. Edited to add: I'm a bit pissed that Sasha is being killed off like this even though I'm happy for Sonnequa to be leaving this sinking ship. When Sasha told Rosita that she had something to give, I was flabbergasted. So what was all that Sasha had been through for then? Sasha had lost Bob and Tyrese and gave up on life. She pulled herself together, to the point that her example gave Abraham a reason for living and they fell in love. Now she's going to throw that all away? Over a man? I really wonder what kind of relationships (if any) Gimple and his crew have. Don't get me started on Michonne being reduced to 'comic relief'. Because if she doesn't run her sword through Jardis and keep walking when that bitch disrespects her, that's what she is. Edited April 2, 2017 by mightysparrow Because 5 Link to comment
Mu Shu April 2, 2017 Share April 2, 2017 I want to see Michonne curb stomp Jugdish. Sasha has been such a non entity lately that her death shouldn't make much impact. Really, all the characters have become stale. That's what happens when you have too many groups to focus on. Hopefully they write it in a way that gives Sasha an opportunity to go out memorably. Not holding my breath, though. 2 Link to comment

I completely agree. I also like Gregory, Jesus, and Eugene ( I really like the actor). Given what went down with CDB raiding and stealing from a group that they had no quarrel with....
