You are correct. It was a reunion show. Drew is the one who made the comment about a porn career being an option.

EDIT: ok, from what I understand, Viacom did not FIRE her, per say, but they pulled the plug on her filming schedule and from what i gather, they are saying some sort of adult entertainment thing she did breached her contract, in some way. 

IF this is the case, I completely agree with all of you above who've said that this is complete bullshit. They've shown all kinds of shit on the show, from domestic violence, opiate use and addiction, child neglect, driving while impaired, etc. They've got violent felons on there, drug addicts, con men, dead beats and everything else, but somehow, someone filming themselves having consensual sex outside of the show is this mortal sin and the ultimate no-no?

Do you've know if Farrah signed anything with the cam site for ongoing work? Maybe the gossip sites have it somewhere. I'll look.

Anyway: entertainment/arts contracts are the pits. I can imagine that with reality shows especially, the non-competes are pretty restrictive. A one-off from Vivid would I guess be like doing an indie film while working on a primetime drama. It wouldn't conflict with the tv schedule, etc. But I'm betting MTV thinks that Farrah's cam show deal is basically like her doing a soap while also doing a primetime drama. It will take her time and energy and focus (whatever the f that would mean for Farrah; maybe she'd stop yelling at people or ranting and I don't know, start allowing her guests/coworkers to use her bathroom). She will probably be dealing with calls and setups and so on during MTV's contracted time.

 

It is definitely a stupid move for them, though, slapping Farrah on the wrist with a reprimand for doing perfectly legal work. It doesn't make the network look great, especially sincd MTV is not exactly squeaky clean. They must build alternate days into the shooting schedule for when these kids get arrested/lock their doors/nod out/get violent and can't/won't film. If Farrah ends up being stupid (likely) and double-booking stuff, they can use the alt days.

I want to be outraged at 11th Street on Farrah's behalf, and I do think their sanitizing of her adult entertainment can be seen as sex-shaming and is bullshit, but she and the others signed a contract that has rules. In exchange for money, they are supposed to allow their lives to be filmed, and are not allowed to do certain other things like appearing on other shows without prior approval. It would be great if they lost money every time they said they wouldn't talk about something or ordered the crews to leave, but unlike the rest of the world who have real jobs, they get to refuse to work and still get paid.

Farrah has continued to go to clubs and trade shows, but what they said no to regarding this was her filming a sex act to be streamed online. For some people, the fact that she is on this show is part of the attraction to her adult work, and is probably the reason she continues to film even with all the other irons in the fire. Of all the cast members in the franchise, she is the one who keeps track of all her pennies. 

If they are all treated so poorly by the production team, and I don't doubt for a minute that production tells them what they want to hear and pretend to be their friends for filming purposes, they can all opt out of the next season. Not one of them will, because they are addicted to the fame and money.

I can almost see up Ashley's dress! And I'm no prude and don't really care what a person wears but it was very distracting in the pics. I could only focus on Ashley's dress, and if she flashed everyone when she sat down or bent over.

Did Farrah do a Britney and shave her head, and this red wig is the result because that hair hair does not look natural.

I don't remember where I read it and didn't search for it again, but think it came up back when she first got the horse (which is supposedly a companion animal), that Sophia is uncomfortable in groups like you would find at a wedding. The reason that stuck out to me is that I am, too, and felt bad for her because I'm sure strangers approach her since they do all these kids.

I trust your memory, but why does that not surprise me about Farrah? Then again, her eyebrows look awful with her wig/badly colored hair. I don't use color, but don't ppl usually dye their brows to match their hair color?

Sophia probably does need a support animal (and therapy, not acting lessons) after witnessing  all of the fighting between Farrah & Debra. Too bad one of their several dogs wasn't special enough for Sophia to use for support.

I only follow these people here in this forum so I didn't know that Sophia wasn't there. I wondered why some other little girl was in the photo but no Sophia. Why wasn't she there?

Even though I hope my son would never do something to draw mass quantities of people to give their opinions about it on social media, I'd like to think I'd be smart enough to just ignore it; don't read it, don't search for it, and certainly don't argue with people about it. I agree with his statements about her having a great work ethic, and it looks like she is launching a lingerie line, which I think is a great step in the future progress of her livelihood, but tweeters commenting on her hateful behavior are correct, too. Starcasm didn't copy those for the article, but it was long enough as it is. 

The adult entertainment industry has always been looked down upon by a large portion of the population, even by those who watch porn or hire sex workers, so I don't know why he acts like it is acceptable for Farrah when he himself has said how wrong and shameful it is in the past. The comments would be negative even if it was one of the other women, but the fact that Farrah has been nasty to cashiers, servers, mothers of a child with Down Syndrome, etc., is part of the reason people talk so mean about her.
