OK, so it seems as thought infidelity is afoot when it comes to Tyler.  This does not surprise me; how many "ooooh, you're so HAWT!" selfies can one young man post?  Who wants to speculate with me who the other party is?

My thought: it's someone he met on Instagram.  Have you heard of these young people today and their "finsta" accounts?  That's the account that is kept way on the down low, only for a few eyes, and only for a few reasons.  It's very much separate from the official account.  Tyler could have one and Cate would never even know.

I can’t remember what Twitter account it was on, (Simon’s?) but someone commented they used to live in the same area as Tyler and Cate and heard numerous stories of him “flirting and hitting on” females.

It's Monday morning and I am catching up with all of the Tyler/Simon drama! I am all for Simon calling these fools out but I agree that his comment about Carly's adoption was uncalled for. It really was the best decision, especially for Carly.

I definitly felt that Tyler was being way to defensive

Someone tweeted to Tyler the blind item and asked if that is his reason for his lack of sleep, I believe. Check the previous page. The tweet is posted there. 

Tyler ranted about the allegations, tweeting that people are stupid and then posting a link to an article to show that blind items are untrue.

Someone tweeted the original blind item from 2016 to Tyler.

The guy behind the blind items posted in response and he tagged Simon asking for his two cents.

It's sad. If I was Catelynn, I'd be hurt and upset that he didn't at least say something like "Cate is my soul mate and mother of my kid(s) and she's so beautiful to me." UGH.  Tyler even manages to make put-downs to his wife only about him. Simon defended Farrah, who I'm not even 100% sure is even his current girlfriend at the moment.  Tyler couldn't even be bothered to think of anyone but Tyler, even when his wife Cate was brought into it.

I totally agree with this.  Simon can say all he wants to about C&T because they needlessly jump into the fights of others and join the side of the attacker.  Their decision for adoption, no matter the reason, is off limits.  That's inappropriate and taking it too far.  They did the best thing for Carly and Simon needs to stop with the adoption put downs.  Not cool.

I agree, especially from someone who isnt a parent, co-parent, step-parent or even has established a relantionship at all with anyone...  not even a partner.  I cant stand tyler, and i usually just laugh at all the bullshit that comes out of his mouth and all the backlash he gets from it. However, i do think simon went a little over the line.

I dont see why tyler didnt say, "wtf would u know about parenting? You couldnt even pretend to co-parent mowgli or have a pretend relationship with that blowup doll you called a girlfriend."

I admire your honesty. Sometimes though, people open a door and give people a reason to come after them, don't they? All bets are off IMO when the instigator provokes.

Catelynn and Tyler are idiots and they need to be served. If I don't want to be attacked or have someone come at me in that fashion, guess what? I don't give people reason to come after me that way. I keep my nose clean. I don't provoke, I don't seek out a fight, I certainly don't put my life out on social media and then cry later when someone needs ammunition and I gave it to them on a public forum.

Tyler and Cate live on social media day and night. They thrive on the attention they receive. Let me revise my comment. They thrive on the positive attention they receive. They also go on the hunt and attack. Nothing has been off-limits to them. Why are they then shocked when others do unto them? 

Simon's adoption comment IMO was meant to hit Tyler where it hurts. As an adopted child, I don't see it as a generalized statement about bio parents. I know that Simon knows adoption is an option that many need to do in the face of adversity. I think he was pointing out how Tyler was a p*ssy who ran to Kim seeking her to back him up on his quest to get Catelynn to give up that child. Tyler was a p*ssy for threatening Catelynn - "It's either the baby or me" (paraphrasing). 

I gotta admire Simon for at least defending Farrah. Tyler is a douche-bag for not even defending his wife ONCE during that diatribe.

I have a few friends/acquaintances with non-social work degrees (such as a bachelor's degree in psychology) who work for things like Head Start, etc, and call themselves social workers even though they technically aren't and they don't have social work licenses. It seems to be a quick, catch-all term for a lot of things (which I know real, licensed social workers don't like....my mom has a BSW), rather than explaining that you're an "adoption counselor" or "family benefits outreach counselor."  Maybe Dawn is an "adoption counselor" (who actually knows nothing about counseling other than convincing birth parents to place their children for adoption).

No one believes that Tyler had Carly's best interest in mind when she was given up for adoption...he wanted her adopted out so he would not have to pay child support....even if he and Cate broke up and she kept Carly...he still would have been on the hook.  He led Cate to believe if she agreed to give Carly up then they would be a couple "forever".....I'm suspect that as soon as that adoption was legal...he would have dumped Cate..only thing is....MTV picked up their storyline and he saw dollar signs!

I was a "family therapist" (later changed to a "crisis intervention specialist") for a Family Preservation Unit of a nonprofit community-based organization. Social workers from the state referred clients to us who were at risk for having their children removed and we worked (in-home, 10 hours per week) with them to help them make the changes they needed to get the state off their backs. I did not have a license, though I did have extensive training, but I was basically a social worker. They could call it whatever they wanted but we were social workers. We even appeared in court with the families in lieu of their on-going SWs and the judges and attorneys didn't always know the difference. 

I hated that job. Actually LOVED the families I worked with. (Well, a few were kinda scary.) But I HATED the bureaucracy.

Catelynn may have received a false positive pregnancy test. I have a hard time believing that she became pregnant 3 weeks after removing her IUD when it looks like these two barely touch each other. 

Edit: yes, “Mirena Crash”. Very common for false positives after IUD removal.

I agree. Also, not to be crude, but judging by Tyler's reaction to the pregnancy "surprise" on the show last night, if they've even had sex since the miscarriage, I'll bet Tyler is now taking some precautions of his own.

I don't know why he would. Tyler was the one pushing for another baby. I could not figure out his reaction last night. He was the one that wanted another pregnancy, but he didn't want her to tell him that she got her IUD out or that they were "trying". He wanted to be surprised. They had this entire conversation. Did he forget???

I truly want to believe it, ghoulina, but since Tyler told Cate he doesn't want to know about any planning of a pregnancy, he wants to be surprised and all that, I find it fairly possible that Cate decided to lie about being pregnant. Sort of a way to test the waters. When she saw Tyler's reaction - and possibly more of his true reaction when the cameras were gone - she likely felt like utter shit. All that hyping about having another baby, she realized she was fooled into thinking it was okay to plan this pregnancy (how stupid that is just to type out), surprise him, and he'd be over the moon. Instead, he looked like he was just told Teen Mom was canceled and no more six figure checks. She then had to tell him down the road she had a miscarriage.

If she went to rehab due to suicidal feelings and depression, it was due to the feeling that Tyler is not okay about her being pregnant.

The other possibility is likely that she was in fact pregnant, and due to the stress of knowing Tyler wasn't happy about it, her terrible health and other factors, she did lose the baby.

The thing I keep reminding myself is these two have lied and MTV has covered up for them so many times, that it comes so easy for me to believe this miscarriage never happened because she wasn't pregnant.

Same with Maci. She could have told Tyler she was pregnant and miscarried. How would he truly know? She could have easily said she miscarried and it happened at home in the bathroom.

I never believed he wanted another baby (especially with Cate). I feel like that was all a bunch of lip service just to make their storyline more interesting than "we bought a crunch wrap house". Last night when Haley asked Cate how many more kids she wanted & Cate shrugged all "Who knows?!", I felt like she was thinking more along the lines of "how long can we stretch out this show?!". They all seem to be psychologically fucked up from their bizarre existence for the past 10 years, and will say or do anything to remain the slightest bit relevant in MTV land.
