MM said she "debates for a living." Does she have as second job? Seriously, WTF is she talking about?  I never thought I'd say this, but, Whoopi I love you!

Her job title keeps changing: political analyst, debater, GLAAD award winner, Mrs. Ben Domenech, the only conservative at the table, etc.

Oh look, Meghan wasn’t making eye contact with Whoopi!

I thought she was going to cry!

WHOOPI IS ON FIRE TODAY!?

Meghan “I’m against murder” said she’s “pro gun” and “pro life” in the same sentence. No, you can be one of those but not both. One of those labels cancels the other out, Meghan.

I guess there is no connection in her dim little mind!

Well, on Twitter he specifically called her out in his thanks to the View.

She also posted this after the show today.

I'm sorry; did I miss the news about another ruling by the Supreme Court where they overturned Roe v. Wade? No? Then Meghan the TWAT can take a trillion-gazillion-million SEATS and just STFU.

MILITARY BRATS:   Who WAS that irritating/annoying/military brat-mentor-woman Meghan was slobbering over?  There was nothing appealing about her.  I did, however, find her eyebrows fascinating.  She seemed surly to the staff and Whoopi...trying to take over her own interview.  Oh...and uninteresting.

MILITARY BRATS 2.0:    So Meghan was a military brat?  How did that occur?   Her father left the Navy as a Captain in 1981.   Meghan was born in 1984.

I'm guessing that many of us had fathers and/or mothers who served in the military so I guess we are all army brats according to Meghan's definition.

my husband was in the Air Force Reserves before we were married, my dad was in the Navy before I was born.   So I'm a military brat AND a military wife.

She’s also pro stand your ground and Constitution.

So, you can murder someone as long as you feel threatened.  No due process needed.

Ha! She knew it would be a "rough day today" at the View. Every day is "rough" when you are a sour, unintelligent, spoiled brat who doesn't know how to "debate for a living" and present your view in a calm, professional, and dignified manner.

You put it so succinctly and completely!  Bravo!

Now I have to go back and watch the shows to not watch her and watch the others while she speaks.  Thanks guys.

My dad served in the Navy almost twenty years before I was born.  Didn't know I was a Navy brat!

Now you know!

My grandfather joined up in WWI to get his citizenship and my uncles fought in Korea.  Does this make me from a military family and a military brat too?

Wow! Then I'M an ARMY brat as well, since my Pop served in the Army too! Well, the Indian Army. Made it to Captain before being honorably discharged after suffering major wounds, either in the war (one of many) with Pakistan, or it might have been China. I can't recall. So SUCK IT, Twat!

Meg-gun and Cup of Comfort have me howling. This board just gets it!

ETA: Sarah was not having it today. She’s tried so hard with Meggie and today seemed to be her limit.

Megan forgot that Sarah's brother is Gay and she cares very much about LGBT rights.  The new justice will help the other conservatives, in the court, undo the progression of those rights. So, Megan, gloating about what is to come, hit a nerve for Sarah.  Megan wanted to rub it in the ladies' faces that their team will lose and hers has won.

A major turning point in the show  was the "Cheap shot"  remark by Meghan  - to WHOOPI!

I see it as a turning point because Meghan has always been deferential to Whoopi, even as she attacks other co-hosts.

That was a cheap shot’: Fight breaks out on The View as Whoopi Goldberg schools Meghan McCain on poverty

Quote

Meghan McCain cut in to say that she’s glad to hear that people on the panel believe in the culture war now, because they didn’t before. Whoopi Goldberg maintained that she doesn’t agree.

“Some of this is about race. I think we can concede this, but a lot of this is about poverty,” McCain said. “Which again, seems to be missed in the mainstream media. When you are living in a tiny town in America and your coal mine or steel mine went under and opiate addiction is raging in your town, and you can’t pay your insurance, and you can’t pay –”

“It sounds like black people, you know? I don’t mean that in a crazy way” Goldberg cut in.

“I adore you as you know,” McCain said. “But that was a cheap shot. I’m trying to explain.”

That is what it's all about for her.  Her team is winning.  Doesn't matter if millions of people will be hurt as long as Meghan wins. She really is a selfish uncaring bitch.  All I can say is thank God she doesn't want kids.

I’ve complained a bit this week about Whoopi and Sara but today? I was cheering them on! They really did a great job. Loved Sara’s succinct point on pro-life attitudes and it cracked me up that Meghan was about to snap back at her but got cut off because of the commercials. And Whoopi was not having it at all!

What more can I say? Meghan is noxious.

God, Meghan is just a terrible person. I'm glad it wasn't just Sunny who went after her yesdarday. I understand they need to have a conservative on the panel, but why do they always pick the idiots? Bitsy, Jediblabla and now Meghan?!? Why can't we have someone like Ana Navarro?

From your lips to God's ears.

Thank you, Kenz.

I turned off the tv after the Black people remark cuz my blood pressure was boiling.

I was really angry/depressed after that on my drive to go have lunch with a friend.  Took alot of singing along to loud radio music to get me out of it.

I was thinking also that I would FLOVE to see pics of the Black people in the View audience as MM is talking.  Chris Hayes from MSNBC was on Seth Myers the other night and succinctly talked about the white base privilege  being threatened (exacerbated by fear mongering from POTUS as Joy stated yesterday ) about the evolution of Black and Hispanic influx into the US. Get over it folks.

MM is beyond horrible.

I have to say how much I love this forum, because it’s good to know that I’m not the only one who is screaming at RBM during one of her ignorant diatribes. When Meghan snapped at Whoopi, “I know how poor people feel, I’ve talked to them!” I wish Whoopi would have shouted, “I’ve LIVED it, Meghan!” Whoopi also grew up pre-Roe vs Wade so she’s seen and maybe even known women who have died or had serious complications from a back alley illegal abortion. Age doesn’t always mean wisdom, but dammit, give some credence to the older women (Whoopi and Joy) who lived through civil and women’s rights of yesteryear. Same to the woman who has extensive knowledge of the law because she’s a lawyer with an extensive legal career (Sunny). I always feel like Meghan is one second away from slapping her hands over her ears and screaming “Lalala can’t hear you!” when the other women are talking.

But because I am too empathetic for my own good, there’s a tiny part of me that feels a bit sorry for her. I had no idea that her FIL was part of the Trump administration, and we know her husband runs that gawdawful Federalist site, so the compassionate part of me says the reason why she pushes these republican talking points so hard is because she has to live and breathe that other part of life the other 23 hours of the day. Her husband and FIL don’t have a platform as big as she does aka a syndicated talk show, so they probably push her to say this and that and double down on the ridiculousness she spouts every day. Kind of like the “reluctant” wife who sides with her asshole husband because she has to go home with him.

I don't feel sorry one iota for her.  She knew who she was marrying.  There are plenty of marriages that differing political views.  And it's not like Meghan wasn't a Republican before she got married.  Do I think her husband has influence over her?  Absolutely.  But I'm not going to let her use that as an excuse for being a vile hateful bitch who is gleeful over all the horrendous things that are happening with this administration.

And oh the irony of having a rich white woman 'splaining the poor.  It boggles the mind much along the lines of Joy's question to MM  about how the poor base reconciles Drumpf's tax breaks for the rich,  as well as taking away their health care.  Crazy.

And Meghan's response to that was Trump's message was better than Hillary's.  She like her tribe leader doesn't give a damn about poor people.  To paraphrase Kanye West, Meghan McCain does not care about poor people.

22 minutes ago, Tosia said:

How insulting and RACIST of MM to call cheap shot on Whoopi's inclusion of " Black People" when Meggie was talking abt  Drumpf's downtrodden base.

Of course Meghan doesn't want to hear that black people have been suffering from the same ills as Trump's rural base for fucking years because it doesn't fit her narrative that Trump is going to be savior to all those poor white people who are struggling.  Oh that's right, that was only something he said to get elected.  She is such a good spokesperson for the GOP isn't she?

Yes, Angelsmom1009, Whoops needs to own her struggle and authenticity when MM is bragging/lying about knowing The poor.

Joy frequently talks about being raised in a tenement. Sara also mentions her Iowa roots in a small town.  Sunny, too , has commented on her dad's emphasis on education as a way up.  I have noticed that other guests also mention their early lives in lower economic digs. I imagine MM just tunes out during these discussions,  like you said,  and the same when women talk about sexual harrassment, because even Meggie can't buy a clue.

She's a waste of space on this show.

Thanks, Tara Setmayer, for putting your political views aside and giving Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez credit where credit is due while Meghan sat there with a sour face. She's too young to be this miserable.

And I feel like Meghan was being condescending when she asked Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez if this means the new democratic party is democratic socialism.
