Boy George and Culture Club are scheduled to perform at our State Fair this summer!  I and all my forty-something friends are pretty excited.

Maybe Dorit will show up and do her rendition of "Fever" for PK.

I was hoping that Erika would arrive via Helicopter ala Dorit/PK Casino Royale party and then was lowered onto the Berlin Boat via winch rope

Or on a jet ski AND helicopter, like Mariah Carey in the “Honey” video...

And thanks for the info on fitting into latex!

I've stopped watching this season, but please tell me that Erika was not pontificating about her artistry. "Cinnamon at Crazy Horse II, Peaches at Scores, and Chardonnay at the Yellow Rose are here tonight to give a Learning Annex seminar on the artistry of writhing around in latex and your underwear." What artistry? She's someone who convinced her husband to spend a million dollars on her mediocre talents. If she's going to talk about her real talents, like how she managed to convince Tom to spend so much money on her negligible singing and dancing, I'm all ears. Hell, she could stop paying gay men to squeeze her into uncomfortable clothing because I'd happily pay up if she taught courses on how to hook a sugar daddy who indulged your whims.

Hell yeah!

Erika is feeling like a big deal lately - she doesn’t need Andy or Tom anymore, ya know.

Yep, but I appreciated her candor. And I also think that she might be ready to leave the show.

can Tom ever bother showing up for any of the rhobh events?

he was the only one missing on WWHL. Yes, he is this super duper busy great legal mind but it also shows me how he feels about Erika.

Like many of us, I'm sad to say goodbye to Kyle's old house. It's a lovely house. The new one is grander, but it's not homier.

I don’t get why she is moving to Encino. Isn’t it a downgrade neighborhood wise?

When Erika pulled out the “stealth bitch” face on Teddie, I so wanted Teddie to say “Yup, I called you a liar, because I think you lied”.  Had this been a discussion between the NY ladies, that’s how this would’ve gone down and this issue would already be long forgotten.    No way do I think that Erika doesn’t remember saying what she did to Teddie regarding Dorit and Vanderpump.   It’s been one of the major dumb/manufactured feuds of the season.

NY has always been my favorite Housewives show, but this was always a close number two.   Now I’m usually more interested in my I-pad than this show.

Erika crossed that line a while back - now she’s stuck in Erika Jayne get-up mode and can’t seem to find her way back to boring Erika Girardi outfits.

One of the few things I enjoyed about early Erika was the switching back and forth between Jayne and Girardi.

Erika's Berlin Boat Outfit/Makeup

I liked the look - it was fun.

I was curious enough about it to YouTube How to put on a latex outfit.

I found a video where a man wearing a full bodysuit - head and all (I mean like Spiderman/Deadpool in Latex) listing the pros and cons of each method.

You don't use both lube and talcum powder - it's either or.

Con for talcum powder - it takes the shine away from the latex. When you sweat and you will sweat - should a rivulet of sweat trickle down it will be white and it won't look nice for white streaks to show on your latex outfit

Con for lube - one hour after application it gets "tacky". If the lube is anywhere on exposed skin things will stick to you. Taking off the garment may require getting in the shower to rinse inside before pulling away from skin or it might be painful - OW!

Then there's chlorination - which changes the chemical makeup of the garment but makes it so that it is easy to put on

I am curious as to where does the sweat go? Does it just dribble down all night or is there a sweat puddle in there?

I googled too.  LOL.  I found a Cosmo article where they used baby powder on the skin but then had to lube the dress to make it shiny.

Speaking of WWHL: did anyone listen to the Radio Andy episode with Rinna? She and LVP started argue-bantering about some comment Rinna made about RHOBH needing new blood?

Was she really suggesting that they get rid of LVP? (That would probably never happen)

LVP was obviously told by someone else and they got it totally wrong.

I listened (you can too for free on Siriux)- Andy had Rinna and then Jeff Lewis.

Lisa Rinna said they need new blood, not old new blood. She didn't say it but she was referring to not bringing back Brandi or Kim.

That was cruel. And perfectly Dorit. Example Number I-Can't-Count-That-High-Bubba of why I detest her so much. Vile. Granted, the question was shady, but if I'd been Dorit, I'd have assumed the fan meant Coca Cola and replied, "A soda fountain glass, of course, honey." Interesting, isn't it, that Dorit went right to cocaine, though. When the woman asked the question -- and before Dorit went nuts -- that's what I thought she was asking, in effect. "Do you ever drink anything as common as Coca Cola, and if you do, do you have a special glass for it?"

Because I haven't seen any shots showing kennels in the store where the puppies might otherwise live during the times the store is closed, I think Lisa's place is more like the pet stores that hold pop-up adoption events.

I foster for a local cat rescue organization, and we take our charges to once-a-week adoption events.  From experience, I know that when I have kittens I will be told to take my fosters to X location on adoption day.  But if I have, say 2 near-adult siblings, I will be told to take them to Y location.  It certainly could be that Lisa's place does best with puppies.  (Or they just staged it for production - is that cynical of me?)

The rescue organization I'm with is run by devoted, organized people who keep track of trends in their partner stores.  They learn demographics of adopters for each store, and using the web to advertise pets helps a lot too.  Some stores have the most success with little kittens. Some have more demand for a bit older kitten and cat.  People can arrange to come to a certain store to visit a pet they saw online (we fosters take the photos and write the personality descriptions).  Quite a bit of effort goes into placing pets in the right stores to get a good adoption turnover.

We also do a bit of feral cat management, and when the little ones have good personalities and can be adopted out of the colony, we get them there.  In fact, I just recently adopted one of my fosters who was born to a feral colony and is just the funniest cutest most affectionate little all-black clown (8 mos).  I think it's true - the all-black ones have a harder time getting adopted.

Here in California, in order to address shelter overcrowding/euthanization and to force out of business the "backyard breeders" who produce unhealthy and/or too many, it's the law now that pet stores can sell only animals from registered breeders or shelter rescues.  And rescue organizations get preference and a price break to take shelter animals.

I've personally seen so many successes I'm convinced it's the right direction.

I greatly admire what you do for animals Anne Thrax. <3

If you're into it but by day you wear normal work clothes...when you go out..do you go out fully dressed in latex or do you hide it in a backpack and change into it for later (like Catholic School)? I'm just trying to picture walking out of your apartment, house, fully latexed, - the noise eeeh, eeeh,,eeeh, finding your key to lock the door, eeh, eeh, eeh, walking down the sidewalk, eeh, eeh, eeh - folding into a car...eeh, eeh, eeh. For Erika's clothes, I think she pays herself, probably has some sort of company created for all things Erika Jayne and some of the clothing can be put off as a "business expense". She probably can add more now that she is on RHOBH.

Erika might get some freebies from certain designers that she lists off on the show - but I think she buys some too.

A remember years ago when the HWs first started there were a few designers who provided clothes -  not for them to keep but to appear at various functions with a step and repeat. I distinctly remember a pink/black dress - LVP wore it, Melissa Gorga wore it, one of the ATL ladies wore it - same dress but in their size.

In the article, Dorit says she is self-conscious about her breasts, and therefore, (paraphrasing) tries to wear things that flatter them in the best way possible.  Ummm...really?  Because they usually look like two water balloons that are about to bust.

Three words; The Station Nightclub. In Feb. 2003, this Rhode Island nightclub let a band set off pyrotechnics which started a fire, and as a result, 100 people died, and 230 were injured. People's safety is not worth taking the risk to further inflate a performer's ego.

Dorit, is that you making this comment? That's the only explaination I can think of for it.

I am from West Warwick, the small town in Rhode Island in which this tragedy occurred, and I went to school with some who had family members who died in the fire.  This was immediately what I thought of when they were all salty with the guy who was telling them they could not use pyrotechnics.  I'm glad Erika and her little queen shut up about it, when they did.

Lastly, I just wanted to add that I like Teddi, for the most part, but whenever I am reminded that she named her daughter "Slate", it makes me like her less.  I simply cannot get past how ridiculous it is.  For a girl, no less.

Please for those who are into latex - I mean no offense.

I don't know if the point is to be "secretive" or "inconspicuous"

Since this gear isn't easy to put on and may require help - you'd have to walk out the door fully dressed.

I can only say I live in NYC and I have been out at all hours and been to various clubs - I have never ever ever seen anyone in a full latex bodysuit ever.

I'm picturing stopping at a red light and you look to the left and there's Spideyman - GAH!

What do you do when you have to pee? Do the men's gear have that weeny flap?

Years ago on SNL - Horatio Sanz and Jimmy Fallon did a skit about a leather store. It was one of their regular sketches and one time Britney Spears was a customer. She tried on leather pants and the whole gag of the show was Jimmy/Horatio/customer - walking around the store squeaking and creaking.

There was a story a couple of years ago about some company like Hermes gifting Lindsay Lohan with a ton of Chanel bags because they didn't want her to carry their bags. They felt it was money well spent to devalue a competitor and continue to keep their brand exclusive.

I think Rinna and Erika tried to stay out of the drama this season since most of it was about them last season.

They were on mainly to promote their business ventures. Rinna with QVC, daughters modelling, her own gigs - Morning Talk show, The Middle, Days, Erika talked about her avatar on the Kim K game, her book, her show gigs.

The shit stirring drama that came about was Dorit/Teddy and Dorit/LVP/Kyle - Rinna and Erika just watched on the sidelines.

Yeah, Rinna mentioned on Andy that she can’t be bothered with the petty bullshit. I love how she suggested new blood. I am with her, especially if she manages  to  bring Heather Locklear on board.

I also like that Rinna is hustling 24/7 and she appears  to be a somewhat decent and relatable individual.

Really? Because to me it looks like Dorit had everything done. I honestly wouldn't have known this was the same woman unless you told me.

There is such a thing as learning how to use make up and how to pose.  I never thought Dorit was that special until the guy Jerry Oconnell on WWHL said Dorit was the most beautiful of all RH (personally I would go with Cynthia Bailey). Things started clicking and I realized why she was sensitive to the LVP shoot.  Then I looked at her Instagram-she can model.  Beautiful legs and of course the big doe eyes. I don't see a chin implant or even nose job.  So I am not certain about her having everything done facially.  Same jawline, same mouth.  She needs to get her breasts redone a lift not bigger implants.  She certainly has great legs and that is not something you can make over.

I hate about 50% of Dorit's hairdos but she is that person that has a blank palette for a face but knows how to use it.  She reminds me of the glamour  models from the eighties where people would go in and have portraits done with lots of facial softening and look gorgeous.  Of course the photos are easily identifiable because they are so similar.  When I think of dramatic face redos I think of  Stassi Schroeder  of Vanderpump Rules and Shannon Beador of RHOC.

Look at her nose in this photo-not all that sculpted:

LVP was obviously told by someone else and they got it totally wrong.

I listened (you can too for free on Siriux)- Andy had Rinna and then Jeff Lewis.

Lisa Rinna said they need new blood, not old new blood. She didn't say it but she was referring to not bringing back Brandi or Kim.

Or Camille.  Camille is dusty.  They do need new blood.  Someone more exciting than a Teddi, not as nutty as an Eden.  Rinna knows how to make a good show.  In two episodes RHNY has had 10 times the drama and comments RHOBH has had all season.  Nothing anyone said about another is remotely interesting.  Contrast that with NY and they have no issues with call another "fat" or a "slut, whore" or anything else.

In the article, Dorit says she is self-conscious about her breasts, and therefore, (paraphrasing) tries to wear things that flatter them in the best way possible.  Ummm...really?  Because they usually look like two water balloons that are about to bust.

Here is what Dorit said about her breasts;  How have you learned to embrace features you’re self-conscious about?
I’m most self-conscious about my breasts since having children. I try and find the right bras and clothes, sometimes it’s a struggle.

That sketch series is right up there with Stefon both in terms of the characters “breaking” AND making me laugh uncontrollably. I wish they added the squeak squeak to Erika. Maybe if they still did the “social” version of the show.

Oh, oh, oh, HH. You nailed Erika's m.o.

Nailed it ZM.
