GF does mention that there are "amazing" scenes between Luke and Lucky, which I guess makes sense since it's Luke's exit story.  But still, would have been nice to get a one-on-one moment with Laura too.

It sounds like she has scenes with him, just none one-on-one.

Even if they did a one-on-one scene it would prob a my be 15 seconds of them alone before being interrupted by Spenthaw the same way Starr interrupted Lulu & Laura when Laura came back in 2013.

My guess is all the scenes with Lucky will be Spencer family scenes.

If the stupid Liz scene gets the Neverending Jason Story going, then rock on JJ. Plus, he does deserve to take his kids. And since there shall be an obligatory Spencer scene, I hope he shuts his nephew up in a cool ass JJ as Lucky was. And then asks where is Robin..... then says hmm left for Paris.... doesn't sound like her.

Why does he deserve to take his kids? He left them on Christmas Eve years ago and never got in touch with them since then. He rather play with orphans in Africa and stare at rocks in Ireland. Yet he deserves his kids because....?

I don't either Liz or Lucky should be raising those boyizzz; give them to Mac & Felicia, hell give all the kids to Mac & Felicia. They're already raising Georgie & Emma.

I don't mind Liz having scenes with Lucky. It makes sense.  He's her ex-husband and her children's father. I think it would be glaring if they didn't have scenes.  But that said, the fact that Tony gets one-on-one scenes with Jonathon and Genie doesn't? Tells me all too well where TPTB's priorities lie on this show. And I'm not just talking about everyone cow-towing to Tony Geary. The women are getting more and more of a second class status on a show.

It's funny (and by funny, I mean sad) that for Genie, it actually began with Gloria Monty. GM built the entire younger set of the late 70's around Laura and got younger viewers almost exclusively through her, but by the time Genie left in 1982, it's as if Tony Geary was the only one who ever mattered to her.

This is kind of pathetic, but there is still an LL2 fan girl inside myself looking forward to their scenes with bated breath, the last 3 or so years be damned. Why do you do this to me, JJ?!?!

JJ's Lucky does some of the same things when he sees BH's Liz that Luke does when he sees Laura - he lights up from the inside and you can see everything that she and their relationship means/meant to him - and it gets to me Every. Single. Time.

does Liz even parent them or care?

Liz didn't run away when things got tough. (I don't count going crazy, because that was to facilitate BH's mat leave. Also, I'm tired of the wimmins being institutionalized while the men run around free for doing equally heinous stuff, so I'm not going to hold it against them.) Her kids haven't been shot at or kidnapped by a mob rival.

Also, Ron can't write kids, no matter how much he pats himself on the back for the "cleverness" of Spencer. That alone is enough for me to be glad I don't see Cam and Aiden on any sort of regular basis.

Lucky should take the kids, does Liz even parent them or care? Her obsession is Jason. She did the who cares when he said he was a danger to the kids.

Not so, Liz was the only one smart enough to figure out her children were in no danger at all. Jake worked for Julian who's enemy was Sonny who would never hurt Liz's kids. Also his "hit" man would be Shawn who could not hit anything, Double safe. (by PC logic) Even mob knob polisher Olivia has yet to make this deduction.

Smart? Not caring about the dangerous life Jake leads isn't smart. Lucas was shot because of his location, Duke was shot because of who he worked for, Jake was just arrested almost for murder, Hayden was shot standing next to Jake.

Tell Michael that being close to Sonny and Sonny would never hurt kids that keeping kids around him are no danger at all.

I would say she still lives with Carly, even though Carly acts like she doesn't. I think she mentioned her as recently as Hayden's shooting. But then again I could totally see Ron throwing in a line about how she's been in Australia all this time with Jax.

YES,  and Sonny would never hurt Sam either, but brain trust Shawn STILL took a shot with her standing right next to the target.  So no, nobody is safe in a mob war.  Not even kids.

Meanwhile, Lulu confides in Maxie that her secret is starting to weigh on her.

The fuck?  Lulu can explain to Maxie there's a secret she has a good reason to keep, but not Dante?  That's so stupid!

Lucy explains her ELQ vote.

Oh no, now Lucy's getting dragged into this mess.  She has no real reason to side with Nik, right?  Does he have something on her too?

Franco and Denise randomly join forces to each benefit someone else.

I love the use of the word randomly there.  So much of this show is random as fuck.

Michael’s family worries about him and Sabrina has a suggestion for Michael to help make amends. Later, Michael arrives at Sonny’s house with a surprise.

Ugh, this sounds like Michael brings AJ for a visit.   NOOOOOO!  Stay strong Michael!

And suddenly, just like that, Michael is much less interesting to me.

From one of the magazines:

But these explanations fall on deaf ears when he proffers them to Sam, whose investigation into who Rosalie is working for hasled her straight to her cousin. When Sam confronts him, Nikolas owns up to his actions. "I think if he had his choice, it would remain a secret, but he's certainly not going to skirt around the issue when he's caught," TC shrugs. "And I actually like that. I think it's true Cassadine fashion, like 'Yeah, I did it. What are you going to do about it?' It gets pretty heated up, but because it is out of character for him, much like the audience, the characters within the show are sort of taken aback. Everyone brings up the Emily factor, 'How could you do this to the love of your life's family?' And his defense is that none of them ever really liked her, anyway, except for Jason and Dillon. So, he doesn't let people get away with that. 'Don't put Emily into this. I have my own reason for wanting to take over this company.'"

Lol what? Only Jason and Dillon liked her? What?

Yeah, little girl Lila Rae really haaated Emily, she totally deserved to have her shares stolen from her.

I mean, I guess I kinda like Nik owning up once he gets caught and not letting their emotional blackmail detract from his reasons (whatever they are) to steal ELQ, but throwing shade on the Q's re: them liking/loving Emily is horrendous.  She would never approve of what's he's doing to her family and he knows it.

That makes no sense at all. Emily was second only to Lila in terms of the Quartermaine Saint. Maybe Tracy didn't like her, but Tracy hates everyone.

It kind of fits with Nik's "everyone I love betrays me somehow, so there's no point trying to be a good person" pathology. Doesn't mean it's not stupid.

Poor Prince of Douchey Tides, Emily really stabbed him in the back by getting her ass killed , and after he'd already forgiven her for not getting over her rape soon enough and forcing him to cheat with SWSNBN.

Madeline has some demands for Ric

Go away.

Franco and Denise randomly join forces to each benefit someone else.

Yay for two freaks teaming up.

After Valerie spies Lulu and Dillon in a close moment, she tells Dante that she overheard that the two are keeping something from him.

Shut up and mind your own business.

Dante crosses the line with Valerie.

This s happening sooner than I expected.

I'm sure they'll keep it a secret for longer than anyone wants.

I still don't get why Lulu doesn't tell Dante something. He knows Luke and Laura. If she said something along the lines of "Look, I can't tell you the details, but my parents are being forced to do something they don't want to do," I'm sure he'd be okay with that. But no, we have to have idiotic contrived reasons for Lulu and Dante to almost-cheat or outright cheat. Gah.

Actually this is happening slower than I expected. I was expecting a month after Valerie debuted for her and Dante to start hooking up.

Luke letting Dillon know the secret, if it's so crucial for Tracy not to know, but not Dante is just absurd in the first place. It's okay for doofy Dillon to know but not Dante, the police detective? Okay.
