It's pretty clear that Peggy has never once listened to the safety announcement on a plane where they specifically give you instructions to help yourself you help others. They were all on the same trip. None of them had slept. Iceland is 7 hours ahead of Orange County. No one was going to be any use to Vicki being exhausted and hangry.

Peggy has such a shit understanding of what being a decent caregiver is about. Her way is all show and superficial. It's talking over the doctor as he tries to assess what's wrong with Vicki instead of letting him do his job. It's demanding he fix Vicki immediately. It's not eating and arguing with everyone about being a bad friend, but fixing your makeup before you go to the hospital. It's trying to spoon feed Vicki yogurt when she says "no."

It was so telling that Peggy had absolutely no reaction to Vicki coming out of the room entombed in a shroud.  Everyone else, even dim Lydia, reacted to how bizarre it was.  And they had to, again, force Peggy out of their faces to even bring the gurney out of the room.

I've watched it twice, and it sure looks like Peggy pulls Vicki's head away from the toilet by her hair.  She was just so concerned that Vicki didn't have her hair and makeup done.

Kelly does seem able to shrug stuff off.  After how irritated she was with Peggy during Vicki's emergency, she was sitting on the edge of Peggy's chair when they started in Shannon's room.  Then Kelly got mad again when Peggy started up again with her pseudo-subservient garbage.  Kelly also handled Peggy rather well when she was sober.  She only got really screechy and foul mouthed after drinking.  No excuse, just an observation.

Peggy forgot to put her pearls on prior to all that pearl clutching.  She must have spent an hour gluing those tarantulas back on and redoing her makeup prior to the guilt trip at dinner.  And it was a complete bitch move to tell the bus to leave without Kelly.  I think the truth is Peggy knew Vicki was about to be released, and she had almost blown this opportunity to be a martyr.  We heard Lydia say that they would be leaving when Peggy arrived.

In Armenia, the taking of the temperature is so important that there are special doctors who only take temperature, and we have special museum for the Armenian Rectal Thermometer, which is an Armenian invention of course.  Also must have your husband call other husbands when you go.  If your hair is brittle the first thing doctor does is consult with temperature doctor for diagnosis.

Omg! Just watched this crazy, creepy episode, and how weird and disjointed it all seemed to me! The scene with them all in that Clockwork Orange hotel room was so freakish. The lighting, the camera-work, Vickie's hair. Like a strange, bad Felinin movie. Or a simpson's Tree House Of Horrors.

I do think Shannon gets threatened by Tamra getting close to Vicki, not because she's her friend and no one else can have her (who'd want her??), but because she and Tamra are supposed to be as one when it comes to all the lies Vicki told about the cancer and about their marriages. So yes she definitely gets threatened. But I thought last night she was doing her best to let things just flow. She did snark to Meghan during the makeup cry session between Vicki and Tamra but she wasn't saying those things to the group and I think the only time she got kind of shouty there was when Kelly kept trying to insert herself and Tamra told her this is "between A and B and C you later" or like that? And when Vicki was so "ill" she was mostly supportive, or not any more snarky then any of the others. So then you have Lydia. She hears that there was some kind of makeup session between Tamra and Vicki from Kelly who also tells her that Shannon seemed very upset that they were now friends again (Tamra and Vicki). Next they all go shopping and Shannon actually jokes with Vicki about the statue and a hair on the chin. And then Lydia zeroes in. She tells Shannon how nice it is that she is joking with Vicki and mentions that Vicki and Tamra made up, so how nice that Shannon was getting along too. Then when Shannon says it's only for the trip and that Vicki is still Vicki, Lydia pokes her again. You can tell she's trying to get a reaction and get Shannon to go "crazy" but for once Shannon doesn't bite. So Lydia then has her talking head about how there's something wrong with Shannon because she just can't let things go. Hate Lydia.

Still hate Peggy. Wanted those doctors/paramedics to shove her out the door and slam it in her face. When she told the doctor to stop asking Vicki questions and help her, I wanted him to tell her to shut up and let him do his f*cking job! He has to come out here and be included in their circus, but at least let him do what he's trained to do.
