I wonder when Nicole answers a particularly logical question with "ummm.  I don't know.  Like.  I haven't really thought about it.  Like, I haven't thought that far out......"  she doesn't realize that she sounds like a particularly dim witted person.   It appears to me that internally she has thought about it and shoved it in the pool of denial and doesn't want to get called out on it.  She operates solely on the "feel good this moment" premise, much like a young child.

How is she supposed to support Azan and May on a minimum wage job?  Nope, eating fries, on TV, everyone fawning over me.....details later.  Someone will bail me out.  Fries good, salt good, lick fingers good, taco chips good, kid is quiet, ipad charged, good feelings....good feelings....

I believe the First Time Nicole cheated was after they had been in communication for awhile and she admitted that she cheated before she went to Morocco the first time.  At that time, last season, they had a conversation at an outdoor restaurant where he told her how upset he was and how his family would never, ever accept her if they knew, and how much he was risking their respect if he stayed with her after they knew.  The Second Time she cheated was mentioned this second time she went to Morocco -- she went out "with a friend" and it was only when they were doing an interview that it came out that the "friend" was a dude and she had cheated on him.  I agree with the people on this board who think that the cheating is due to her extreme low self-esteem and desire to make him jealous.  His will to come to the US is Just That Strong that he keeps putting up with her shenanigans.  The outrage at the table that "he needs to get over it" is completely disingenuous because they would never say the same thing to her if Azan was the one who cheated on her.  Also, Nicole has no interest in the details of 'supporting' a small family, because her Dad is on the hook and she's counting on that and TLC money to get them through.

I will admit that I cried when Molly's little daughter came over to hug and comfort her while she was crying.  My heart broke for that little girl.  Louise deserves hate with the heat of a thousand suns.  Now we know why Molly was so defensive and, apparently, obtuse when it came to Louise blowing off her daughters.  He had the Upper Hand and we had no clue.  She is another person with completely low self-esteem who believed the lies of a grifter.  I hope she is somehow able to secure her finances for her daughters' futures and that she is able to break the marriage and not be responsible for him for 10 years.

Thought it was funny that Spain David has a mirror-friend of Makayla.  Haha.  They both attract the same kind of people.....maybe those two need to get together at the wedding reception?

Bahtman David went from zero to a hundred in his treats to send her back.  Handing her the keys and walking away -- he is horrid, but I am happy that she has no blinders on where he is concerned.  Hope she hangs in there for as long as she needs to help her family.  Those water buffalo need to be fed after all.

Forgot to add Nicole's motivation for not planning for the future.

So.....................

Chris has decided to pay for the wedding because if it is big it will say "Hey this is my new wife.  I've reinvented myself.  Look at me!"

WTF logic is this?   How is Chris' money a reflection on his success?  Chris clearly hates David's family....that seems to be the only motivator for this behaviour.  He knows David is on the fast track to Camp Nowhere.

Who else laughed out loud when the dress shop lady looked at the card and said "Oh this is a foreign one."   Hahahahahaha.  Nikki should have whipped her card out and said "girl don't bother" and then speed dialed David and cussed him out.  THAT would have been fine TV.

OMG, whoever said Aika's dress was right out of "November Rain" was SPOT. ON. It suits Aika's style, though. I *heart* JoshMom.

I actually like Evelyn's dress, but the bodice looked like it needed to be taken in, or something. The dress was wearing her, rather than the other way around. I kinda dig the vintage car, though.

I liked both and thought they suited the venues and couples. Aika's was fun and Vegas-y!

If I were going to get married in Vegas, I'd go with something kind of fun and "out there." I know that there are some beautiful venues in Vegas, and you can definitely have a "classy" wedding there but, that is totally NOT what I would go for. In fact, I am trying to talk my husband into renewing our 20-year-vows there. I want to do something totally embarrassing to our kids-like marry in Excalibur and make them dress up as knights.

I don't think the producers didn't know she and Luis were married.....but she said they filed the paperwork associated with the K1 Visa after it because it was on a deadline anyway.   The whole fantasy show wedding part was the part that didn't happen.  If Molly would have just waited to finalize the "luis" portion I think she would have been in a different position (needed) since even though they got married at the courthouse, she didn't finalize everything related to him such that he could just Mo his ass out of there.

Can someone with more K1 experience weigh in on this?

Well, it certainly explains Luis' behavior. The guy was waiting it out once he realized his situation was unfavorable so played Molly waiting for her to kick him out. Good job, Molly your kids definitely came first.

Bathman is a shitty human. He knew that the odds were in his favor to bluff Annie out because Annie would give and do it anyway. Where are the stacks of tapes David has on Chris though? This is excessive.

Josh has a likable family, but he himself is trash. His crocodile tears at not seeing his kids because of what his ex-wife did were bs. I'm sure if you cared that much you would see your kids, I also wonder why they want nothing to do with him. Hmmmmm. But sure he is a nice guy, doesn't matter that Aika herself said he doesn't take the baby thing seriously, but go ahead and probably not have kids like you want.

Friend David Spain and Mekala should team up. I can see them bonding over watching their friend's marriage fall apart like I suspect it too. Also, notice how Mekala isn't there with all of Evelvln's yes women. girls.

When Josh was having dinner with his parents I felt it was very odd watching him eat and drink wine.  He kept rubbing his tongue between his front teeth and upper lip as though he was trying to clear a chunk of meat out of them (assuming he does indeed have front teeth).  But he did it too after he took a swig of wine.  Or maybe he has no teeth.  Or an ill fitting bridge.   Or a grill with a bunch of little low quality Aika disapproved diamonds.

Josh is so blown away with the physical porn aspect of Aika that he creeps me out beyond comprehension.  He is so blown away with her tits looks that he just reminds me of someone who watches a furious amount of asian porn on his computer.

We'd need to know the date he received the visa, the date they filed the permanent residency application, and the date that he landed in Atlanta. The clock starts ticking the moment he got the visa.To apply for permanent residency, you have 90 days to get married and postmark the application. She may have gone ahead and gotten the "paperwork" (courthouse wedding and filing of the application part) out of the way as soon as he got to Georgia because she was afraid of there being a hitch-up. My guess, however, is that she was afraid that he'd change his mind and take off so she was locking him in as quickly as she could. She probably convinced herself that the courthouse wedding was just another step in the process and not her actual "wedding." (And, to be honest, that's what we did but for different reasons.) She maybe didn't tell anyone that they were already married because she was afraid that would make their wedding feel less important to the guests.

What I am interested in is when TLC started filming. Did they reenact the whole "Luis landing at the airport" scene? If so, is it possible that Luis and Molly were already married BEFORE the show started filming, or at least within a few days after the filming started? If so, then I could see production being pissed and feeling misled.

I'm not proud to admit this, but I teared up during the dinner scene with Josh's parents. I think it is because everyone looked like actual human beings, and the emotions really didn't seem manufactured. I really liked Josh's mom and I do think she was touched at Aika's reaction to his pain. I still don't like Josh, but he seemed like a real person on this episode.  And perhaps Aika now  understands better why Josh is so hesitant about kids. Although I don't like people making excuses for not being there for their kids.

Of course, I have a stupid cold and possibly PMS so my judgement is questionable at best.

I thought Josh looked good in the dinner scene.  He cleaned up nice and did not look like a meth head junkie. If he could just lose the gauges.

The mother of the bride wearing a bridal type gown to her own daughter's wedding indicates a special brand of crazy.

I'll bet she and Evelyn used to dress up in "Mother-Daughter" outfits!

Wasn't Mykayla on the left side of the couch in the scene where Evelyn modeled her gown for the girls? (She looked like she was wrapped up in a blanket?) Edited to add: Oops, no. I don't see Mykayla in the wedding party which is kind of odd because she's supposedly her "best friend."

Were all four of David's groomsmen his friends from Spain? If so, why aren't his friends from Virginia in the wedding party?

I too was paying attention to things in the background in the Molly scenes.   Like the Incredible Vanishing Dog.  One instant it's asleep behind Brother Molly, a moment later,  gone.   I don't think I've ever seen more convincing proof of demonic activity.

I was watching the dog at Evelyn's!  He seemed rather bored by her wedding dress.  I think there was something more exciting in the kitchen.

First of all, according to Wikipedia and almost every reputable site on human trafficking, parents in Thailand do sell their children into prostitution.  All sources site the extreme poverty in some villages in Thailand as the reason,ie; selling one child can sustain the rest of the family.  So no, I am not uninformed, that would be you. . In addition, I am quoting almost verbatim Annie's mother as related to her marrying David. Her mother actually said more than once that it is Annie's obligation to support her family and how lucky Annie was to marry David.  Her parents then proceeded to demand a much higher dowry from David than they would have dreamed of getting from a local villager.  There were no tears from her mother. No advice saying if he doesn't treat you well you can come back. NOTHING. They are sending their daughter to a foreign country where she knows no one other than David and his best friend. They are not so stupid as to not realize if she gets here, she has no recourse, where will she run to, where will she go. Once they are married Annie becomes essentially invisible , if he tied her up in a room and let men have sex with her 20 hours a day, who would know????? So a parent who has nothing more to say to her daughter than basically "Bye Bye, send the money home" is very concerning to me and not what the majority of parents around the world would say to their daughter. Now maybe mom said more but I would assume had there been an emotional goodbye, it would have been aired. There was also hesitation on Annie's part about marrying David, The mother did not ask, nor seem concerned about her feelings at all, just Send the money. That to me is selling your daughter into prostitution. Whether she's married or not, when the finances changing hands is the number one consideration in sexual relations , to me that is prostitution, That's what I saw in this case.

While I respect there is a tradition of dowry in many countries, unfortunately, it has the potential to open the door to a line of thinking that a daughters only value is in what a man will pay for her and that value is owed to the parents and family,

Well if was on Wikipedia then it must be true. IIRC, wasn't Annie's mother speaking in Thai, with subtitled translation? A rural farmers wife/mother would not normally be comfortable speaking in front of a camera crew and lights, let alone airing her personal feelings in front of strangers, Thai people would not normally share their deep feelings on something in front of strangers, it's not the culture at all. And yes, she'd probably did want and hope that Annie would help her with support, they have very little means. That does not in any way mean her mother encouraged her into prostitution. But hey, I've only worked in Thailand on and off for the last 25 years, working with families like Annie's, so I probably don't know what Im talking about.

Moving on...David Poor is a psycho fuck. His demeanor when Annie needed space was so viscous. No wonder his wife left his ass, I hope she get ps away from him as soon as the green card arrives.  Her life with him will be one disappointment and li after the next, the dress situation is just the beginning.

I was right about Molly, she did marry that asshat. I would think she'd be able to pick up the damn phone and call INS and report him for scamming her, endangering her kids, something! And I loved that everyone kept saying how she called it off, but she didn't call it off in the show I saw. HE called his brothers to come get him, while she was still whining and wimpering about not knowing whether to marry him or not, even after his psycho outburst. She deserves what she gets because she is an idiot. It's a miracle her older daughter is so smart, she must have gotten her brains and common sense from her bio dad.

Regarding porn and strippers, I’m pretty sure most men like porn. And strip clubs wouldn’t stay in business without married men.  There are reasons Molly should not have married so quickly, but I don’t know about those two.

I must not have been clear in my comment. I did not say those were reasons not to get married(although for many women they are), I was voicing concern that if you're picking a man as a stepfather, along with the other more important factors in this case like he's 26, no prior dad experience, different cultural norms and rules, etc, to choose a man who would rather spend his time watching porn or visiting strippers should be sending off warnings to a mother.  She jeopardized her daughters safety and emotional well=being. Luis said himself he had no fun in America until he went to the strip club and Molly expressed concern with his porn viewing.  This was all time he wasn't spending developing a relationship with her girls.

You obviously love the country and the people in it and make a great advocate which I totally respect, however; it isn't just Wikipedia as I said, it's on many reputable sites regarding human trafficking.  Either all those sites are passing on incorrect information or your love for the people and country is blinding you to what may be going on in some parts of the country.   The beauty of sites like this are the differences of opinions that can be respected and discussed. I find your comments to me disrespectful as you are saying there is no basis in fact  for parental selling of children and I basically invented it. Medical research is part of my job and I am well used to using reputable sites for information. Before you called me out, maybe you should have done your research to see if my statement could be supported or not.  Then you certainly could have disagreed with pointing out why you felt those sites were incorrect without attacking me personally . If you feel that strongly that Wikipedia and all the other sites on trafficking are lying regarding this issue, you need to take it up with them and fight for the truth.

As far as my comments on her mother, Annie has no problem sharing her feelings and she is Thai right???  Also even in countries where feelings are kept close, a daughter leaving for another country, possibly forever would likely in most cases produce unbidden tears or at least some sort of conversation from the mom to tell her daughter to come home if things don't work out, etc.  Of course neither of us know for sure in this case whether her mother encouraged her into prostitution or marrying a rich American to help the family, which I also consider a form of prostitution if the primary reason is financial, however; I stand by my suspicion her mother was behind this based on her mom's behavior, comments, etc.  That's only one person's opinion and you and others obviously see it a different way but there are many who also feel like I do. That being said, I don't judge this mother. I would not presume to understand what living in abject poverty can result in. I just find it horribly sad

Molly’s daughter had just came in from Bonnaroo when she had to drive her mother to the airport.  So that scene was 6/12/17.

I can't think of a GOOD reason why she would've married him when she did. Their wedding, unlike ours, fell within the 90 day period (we couldn't book anything until about 4 months after that window so we HAD to go ahead and do the legal part of it) so they could've waited. I'm still guessing that she was trying to lock Luis in and hurried up and did it ASAP before he got cold feet and left.

The producer seemed pretty upset. If Molly had just quietly gotten married during the filming of the show, I don't see how it's that big of a deal to the production. They could've left that out of the show, shown the wedding, and pretended it all happened at the same time. Most people wouldn't have known the difference (we would, because someone would've found out, but the general audience wouldn't have cared). Production seemed genuinely shocked, however, and unhappy which makes me think there was something else going on.

None (unless you're a Duggaresque parent who believes your daughter was raised to be a submissive broodmare). I got married at 18 and divorced at 20. As I got older, I felt so horrible for doing that to my parents. But, I was 18 and knew everything!

Or maybe a mother who was also married at a young age, had an average sized family and is still happily married about 20 years later.

Personally,  I think Evelyn is a bit young to get married.  But, all the comparisons to the Duggars are ridiculous.  How many kids do Mom and Dad Evelyn have, 2 or 3?

I can’t believe how sucked in I have been with this show.

I think now that Annie has had a taste of the good life, it will be harder for her to return home. She might be willing to deal with some of David Poor’s more disgusting aspects in hopes of living like Chris and Nikki someday..... Or maybe she thinks they will adopt her.  However, the preview showed him downing drinks at the wedding.  The man is hopeless and as his daughter so eloquently stated, he now has a 25 year old girl that he doesn’t have to pay for sex.

I could have missed this, but has anyone mentioned May’s biological father?  If he’s in her life, but not on the show, he would probably question the long trip (among other things.)  Since Nicole has May calling her boyfriends “Daddy,” he might not be in the picture at all.  If Azan wasn’t so vigilant at keeping her off him, there would probably be a little Azan. Girl doesn’t think beyond the moment.

It was interesting when David kept mentioning Annie's "past that we don't speak about". It was cruel and manipulative to hold that over her head as if to say "yea so what I cheated and lied to you about it, you were a prostitute so your feelings don't matter." Yea well he knew all about her when he met her, he lied , big difference douchebag.

I loathe David Poor, but if Annie Goldbahts made her living screwing men, many of them married, for money.  She doesn't really have the moral high ground to judge his past.  They are pretty much on the same level and to the extent either deserves a spouse, they deserve each other.

I was wondering the same thing.  I have a feeling his status might not be as good as he thinks.

I would think that if Molly divorces him for abandonment or maybe even seeks an annulment for fraud, he might get little or nothing.  I would also think he won't have legal status to stay in the US.  He should have put in his 2 years and gotten his green card along with a better claim on some of Molly's money.

She could not let good food go to waste! I was waiting for her to put on a Scarlett O'Hara act, start fanning herself with those chubby, licked clean fingers & say "I'll worry about that tomorrow".  Someone needs to take custody of that little girl (Mae, not Nicole) & teach her how to talk & interact with anything besides a phone or tablet.

Evelyn and her mom had matching dresses! How appropriate.  ITA on the comment about David's one friend..he was hot!

Looks like Dad Flappy Lips comments at the wedding. I have more respect for Andre than that whole family put together.

Didn't Dough Boy David give permission for Anna to spend $200-300? He should have told her $10,000, he knew that card would not go thru & Nikki would end up paying. WTF is Dough Boy holding over the Man with the Dough? He wants to show his kids this marriage is real?

I don't know.   The producer's reaction could have been faked to make the revelation seem more momentous.

It wasn't very shocking to me.   Molly's a stupid cow so why be surprised?   I hate to say that about a woman, but I hate women being stupid even more.   What did she accomplish with this boondoggle?   Let's see ... she lost the respect of her father and her children ... she probably blew a lot of money that could have been put to better use, like hiring a REAL babysitter for Kensley ... made a huge fool of herself on national television ... helped to reinforce every negative stereotype about the K-1 visa process and foreigners who gain entry by taking advantage of stupid, desperate people ... oh, and she rolled out the red, white and blue carpet for an illegal alien and set him loose with papers that allow him to stay here.

ETA:  If he got a marriage certificate, doesn't that mean someone has to be responsible for him for the next 10 years?   The sponsors have that obligation because they are acting as surrogates.   If it's incumbent upon surrogate, wouldn't the obligation be incumbent upon the primary as well?
