Carly's bio sibling's pitiful existence is well documented.  If anything Carly will some day see these episodes and be even more grateful to B&T for her family.  She will not go running to C&T as they fantasize.  Maybe Nova will get old enough and run away to B&T. lol

And it isn't Gary that triggers Amber, it's the truth. She was sitting there getting freaking bent at Dr Drew when he was mentioning certain things. I thought at one point she was going to punch Sad Panda that's how cray cray her eyes looked.

Yes,  that was crazy. She looked so pissed he asked if was working a program or was in the program? Like she was going to start beating his ass.  Lol.

I know, I thought so too. I was like holy shit someone is defensive. so Panda was trying to call her on her shit but she was one second away from going crazy and beating his ass down because how dare anyone challenge her and ask her a logical fucking question (and that's why she goes off on Gary)

A couple of posters have said that C&T said Carly is in therapy. Neither Cate or Drew spoke a complete sentence but what I thought I heard was along the lines of:

D: Your in therapy about the adoption

C: Yes

D: And B&T . . .?  Is there counseling?

C:. Yeah, uh, I mean she, uh, talks to someone.

It stuck out to me bc counseling was what Drew was asking about, but the way Cate responded made me wonder if Theresa isn't just talking to Dawn per the normal checkins and such. And also bc Cate just stated that Theresa doesn't want them sharing private discussions but Drew kept trying to go there. But, I refuse to watch it again so I may have some details wrong.

I thought the one good thing Dr. Drew did was interrupt Cate as she was about to announce to the world that Theresa or Carly was seeing a therapist.

This is why they don't see you, twit.  Seriously.  Just because you don't have boundaries doesn't mean that no one else does.

Watching my recording of it now. Here's what I can make out:

Carly idolizes them because the last time she saw Cate, "I was in this awesome, beautiful gown, and getting married. And I was like a princess."  Tyler says, "I, it was, it was just like this very for her, I mean, she's she's a little girl. She's only six years old." Cate speaks over Tyler and says, "it's like the grass is greener on the other side. She doesn't know what's it's like. You know, that type thing. So I think that's hard for them, as parents." Drew says, "are Theresa and Brandon taking the advice of professionals? Is that, is that..." Cate says, "I think so. Cause I know that she's seeing, she's..." Then Drew interrupts and says, "Ok, so good." Cate says "Yeah". Then Drew moves on to ask Tyler about Butch.

Holy Hannah, that was difficult! Cate and Tyler talk over each other constantly. Then Drew cuts in and damn, it was hard to pick out every word. Phew!

Just remembered something else which annoyed me:

Dr Poo: You know Tyler wants a boy

Catelynn: We'd probably end up having another girl

Tyler: Yeah, that's how unlucky I am.

Um, Nova's going to hear about that one day. AND see his salty face when they hit the pinata and he saw pink. Or red, maybe. Fuck off, Tyler, you're as bad a father as Butch, you little bitch.

I just rewatched and Cate says with his luck, it would probably be another girl. And Tyler agreed and said that would be his luck. Drew brought that up anyway so I'll give them a pass on that in this particular instance. But I agree with you on the pissed off piñata and bitch/Butch comments. As always, yes, Tyler can fuck off.

I sure as hell hope Catelynn wasn't insinuating that Carly would rather live with them or has expressed feelings of that nature.  If I were Brandon or Teresa, the semi-open adoption door would be slamming shut as we speak.  Permanently.  There's no way those poor people realized what a dysfunctional clusterfuck this would turn into.  I feel sorry for Carly when she gets older and can be contacted without her parents' permission.  That group of idiots is going to confuse her so badly.

I was also confused when Tyler said "now we can enjoy other people's weddings." I guess you can't enjoy weddings until you are married yourself? Makes no sense.  Also he said Maci got pregnant at their (Tyler and Cate's) wedding. Is Maci telling people that?  Because that's definitely not accurate.

She called cate to announce she was pregnant said "it's your fault! It happened at the wedding" in the episode when she found out. It probably goes with the one of the timelines in one of her stories to save face.

I take it the wedding confused the shit out of Carly. I think she understands the concept of biological parents and that C & T are hers and she we know that she refers to Nova as her sister. So in her little 7 year old mind, seeing her bio parents have this magical day where they look like royalty that she reads about or watches in Disney Princess movies, she is trying to reconcile why she isn't a part of that. IMO, it makes perfect sense why B& T  put an end to the visits because it would probably just be too traumatic and confusing for Carly.

Catelynn is so full of shit.  She was the one that brought up having more kids twice this season and then denied it and said it was Tyler?

I think Cate likes to bring it up and get Tyler to agree with it. It's confirmation that he wants her and their family. But she doesn't really want to have any more kids.

That whole Tweet had me laughing so hard. Twitter wars are always fun. Hey Amber, go get a job and quit being on Twitter and what people say. Sorry about your daughter and not Simon or Farrah. My gosh grow up, Simon loves to stir the pot and she just can't stop.

Sorry but I love that Simon stirs the pot with all of them. They have hated on Farrah for so long with their mean girls bullshit and now can't take the heat themselves. I find it hilarious.

 Oh snap! LMAO

Amber is an idiot. By calling out Simon on his supposed scams and implying he doesn't own anything, something Simon denied and challenged her to research, she is just showing how much she is projecting her own life.

Well, to be fair, Drew asked them about having more kids due to those two clowns having mentioned it in the anniversary scene. There were at least two other mentions of them talking about having more kids. So, chances are they will be asked about those comments.

The conversation continued where Cate pointed out it was Tyler who wanted more kids, which Tyler acknowledged was true. The three continued talking and Drew then mentioned he got the feeling Tyler wants a son, and there was Tyler acknowledging that fact as well.

Those tweets...just ew. She's such a dumbass. And I'm not at all surprised that she's one of those annoying people that say "have a good night" trying to have the last word but then continue arguing after that.

Yes.  And you are more patient than I am.  Were it me, the door would have slammed the very first time Tyler Bacteria took it upon himself to trash-talk me.  I honestly don't know how B&T could stand that.

Although there was a bunch of stammering and cutting each other off, comments like what they are making probably really, really pissed Brandon and Theresa off.   Cate and Tyler were told to stop talking about them on camera.  What part of that do they not understand?  To make comments like that was waaaay out of line and honestly I don't think they have the slightest idea of what Carly thinks or feels about anything.

Slightly off-topic, but TM is mentioned:

MTV president Chris McCarthy is cleaning house just a month into the job.

The third leader of the youth-targeting network in the past two years has led Viacom sibling VH1 to its biggest ratings growth in 15 years in 2016 and hopes to bring MTV back into the daily conversation. That means eliminating several unscripted series that don't resonate with his brand vision, including Prison High, Air Sex, Almost Impossible Game Show, Acting Out, Down to Earth andStupid Man, Smart Phone, with more potentially joining them on the scrap heap as McCarthy looks to focus more on quality and less on quantity. (Safe for now are shows that are working that hit the right notes — like ratings hit Teen Mom, though that could be refreshed in the spirit of early episodes of flagship 16 and Pregnant.)

I'm probably gonna screw this comment off and accidentally piss people off...but I will try to convey what I mean without judgement. I don't mean to judge anyone, not even Cate and Tyler...just trying to muddle out how the B&T comments could have been interpreted.

Ok, here goes...

I'm thinking that Brandon and Theresa, being the sort of rigid Christians that they are, do not want Carly to see C&T as any sort of role model or behavior that's to be emulated. Not only did they have premarital sex which resulted in a pregnancy, but they continued to live together without the benefit of being married, didn't pursue higher education, and then had another child before they FINALLY got married. And it was a ginormous, televised, white dressed celebration (Cate wore a white dress, right? can't remember).

Even if you're not the most devout of Christians, this could be behavior you don't want your daughter to emulate. Marrying the boyfriend you had as a 13 year old (some 13 year olds aren't allowed to have "boyfriends" or "girlfriends"), isn't something that happens to most people.

It's lovely of B&T to say "Carly idolizes you" when they mean "we don't want her to think what you're doing is OK" and "Carly thinks I'm a beautiful princess" when they mean "we don't want Carly to think that babies come before giant weddings."

I've known people who have said close to these exact things about people having big church weddings after a child is born. It's not particularly uncommon although people are generally less concerned about the order in which people make families now than they have been even 15 years ago.

B&T did not say it. Cate said that to describe how Carly feels about C&T as a couple. Just more Catelynn bullshit much like Tyler's claims of Carly calling him daddy.

@guilfoyleatpp not that I do not agree with you but I recently learned something about the white wedding dress...

It was NOT meant to signify purity or anything like that. Peeps used to get married in ordinary dresses because they only had a few to start with and all had to be recycled. When one of the queens wore a white wedding dress, however, it became all the rage because, being white, it obviously could not be worn again-they just did not have the means to keep them clean. After that, the white wedding dress became a sign of wealth cause it meant you could afford a dress you could only wear once. The purity thing came later.

These sound like shows that never existed, like the movies on a Simpsons episode Marquee. Long live Hail to the Chimp.

When was the last time we had a new 16 & Pregnant group?  I'm ready for some fresh faces and story lines.  They could consolidate some of the more interesting Teen Moms instead of having separate seasons of Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2.  Sorry Chelsea and Maci, but your lives are going well = boring.  I could also write off Catelynn.

The problem is that you can't capture what the show once was (hey tried with Teen Mom 3, people weren't interested). What you'd get now is a bunch of kids who'd think the only logical end is to become celebrities as a result of their pregnancy, rather than what it was when this show started: a documentary about the lives of poor people (Chelsea and Farrah excepted) and the deleterious affects having a child when you're a teenager has on your life.  You'd fast forward through the stuff that made this show compelling originally: Corey and Leah struggling with a special needs kid, living in a shack that basically had a root cellar with a bathtub in it, Kailynn trying to figure out where to live and how to make her way now that Jo's mother kicked her out and her alcoholic mother wasn't an option, Jenelle's refusal to accept that she was indeed a mom and had some responsibility, Amber and Gary trying to live together, struggling with drugs...that all goes away because immediately the new cast would be thinking "how long until my book tour?" or "Can I lease another car with this fat ass paycheck?" or "What is my brand going to be?" It'll never work again. It isn't working now.

I dunno, when you have to stoop to the level of second grade insults, you kind of lose any credibility in my eyes. Mostly, you end up looking like more of a loser than the person you're attempting to burn.

I think Amber fancies herself a "Real Housewife" and I got a vibe that she had an agenda for the reunion to stage a Real Housewife Diva Tantrum complete with a walkoff.  Unfortunately, nobody really gave her anything to get upset about.  Everyone else was calmly discussing things and being all rational, but Amber was determined to have her moment.

She'll be back, you betcha.  And, there's some reason they are not filming inside her house, hence the garage scenes.  Maybe it stinks so bad the crew can't breathe while filming.   Or, maybe one of the dogs bit a crew member and the crew refuses to film with the dogs.

I was rewatching this morning and something really bothered me. April was talking about doing therapy as a family and Drew asked her if it was hard to hear Cate talk about traumas from her past, which part was the hardest to hear. And April said that hearing Cate talk about being abandoned by her dad was hardest to hear. I think Drew paused, like he was waiting for more, or asked if there was anything else. And April said something like, "I'm not sure what else I'm supposed to feel bad about...."

Ummm....how about YOU being a crazy junkie who brought all manner of dudes home, some of whom got violent with your daughter????

LOVE the Simon - Amber tweets. "I was flipping houses while you were still flipping around on your mattress in 16& Pregnant". Bahahaha! I bow to you, sir.

Yeah, the whole "tell me what I should feel bad about" business was bullshit.  She's so in fucking denial.  And Cate won't call her on it.  That was really sad.
