Well, this certainly lacks the emotional wallop that showing it at the end of s6 would have. I'm just angry. Fuck this. I am also quite unhappy with the deconstruction of Rick.

Rick,  put the fucking axe in Negan's crotch.

I don't think I can take Hardwick tonight, I will DVR Talking Dead and see if I can stomach his ass kissing tomorrow

There is no way I'm watching it tonight.  I can't stand when he starts out like he's going to be the audiences grief counselor.

I think, more than anything, I'm just still insulted at the Glenn fakeout last season, followed by this death.

I knew he would meet Lucille, but having him off camera for half of last season, and leaving the deaths until the premiere just doesn't sit well with me.

Seriously. As many others have said, they could have done the death(s) as the season ending shock and kept the post-Lucille RV trip for this opener and still have plenty of drama and creepy horror to go around. We'd get it. Really, we would.

I agree this would  have been far more effective last spring

Everyone had too much time to get used to it likely being Glen based on the comics. Only thing I wasn't prepared for was hating Darryl.

Welcome back to being my primary Sunday night show, Shameless.

If you have HBO as has been said on here, check out Westworld Sunday nights. I like to DVR it so I can rewind it to catch everything because it's a show you have to pay attention. I like Shameless too but that's more mindless entertainment compared to Westworld.

I wonder if Nielsen tracks the ratings in 15-minute increments? It would be fascinating to see what percentage of viewers tuned out & at what time.
