  1. They function fine. There are a good number of EVs running around Fairbanks. Batteries lose a good chunk of range, but most people aren’t going far in the winter. Everyone has to plug in their ICE vehicles to keep them from freezing up in the cold, except for the EVs, ironically. I must admit that the show did not have my full attention last night, but I am throughly confused at the ending. I somehow missed Navarro was notified her sister was dead. I thought she just thought she went missing from the hospital. I need to rewatch but not sure it will hold my attention the second time around either. 😕
  2. I’m really going to miss Cecily. The send off was well done. I may have gotten a little misty-eyed. I didn’t love the rest of this show, but Bowen in the marzipan sketch made me giggle.
  3. Thanks, I’m signed up for the web series. Last night’s last episode just seemed like a normal episode and kind of anticlimactic to me. Never would have known it was the last episode of the series, which is why I was wondering. Guess I expected a more direct acknowledgement by the channel of the end of a very longstanding show, but I suppose that’s not how APL usually operates. Sad to see the show end and hoping the rescue sees decent financial support through their web series. They do such important work.
  4. Wow, thanks for the heads-up! I was not aware of the channel move. Guess I will reprogram the recording.
  5. I feel terrible for that woman. What she did was absolutely wrong, but I believe she felt threatened and she was obviously remorseful. Not sure what kind of representation she had, but seems like she should have gotten a deal better than that by pleading guilty. Awful.
  6. The fact that these prison dog programs exist helps me to not lose complete faith in all humanity. Seeing Earl all teary-eyed got my waterworks going. Loved this episode.
  7. I am pretty sure she said she has celiac disease. That’s a legit diet restriction where eating gluten can serious consequences. She informed the guards and they’ve done nothing to ensure appropriate meals are available for her. I think this highlights a major and often overlooked issue for inmates. The inhumane and outright abusive behavior of Ms. Williams needs to be dealt with swiftly and severely. It’s downright appalling how she’s being allowed to run amok with zero consequences. I do hope, like someone suggested above, the jail is just trying to get documentation on film in order to ensure a clean termination of her employment.
  8. For some reason my DVR only recorded the last hour, so I missed the opening and monologue. I watched them both online and I’m so glad I did. The cold opening was absolutely SAVAGE and Driver’s monologue was hysterical. He has great comedic timing. In my book, he is welcome to come back to SNL anytime.
  9. Ok I just have missed something. Why is Tony not running the dredges? Is is connected to the water license issue?
  10. Quinn's son, most likely. They've mentioned him a couple times, but I can't recall if we've ever seen him.
  11. Quinn deserved better. I'm going to be super annoyed if they have Dar's doubts about Keane come to fruition, especially when Quinn died saving her life. I don't know if I will be watching next season.
  12. This is awful. Torture porn, as others have already said. I think I'm done with this show and that makes me sad. Welcome back to being my primary Sunday night show, Shameless.
