No he wouldn't. They never bothered to really write for him, except for the horrendous Britt/Sabrina shenignans, his 10 minute drug additiction and him looking sad of Robin's death. KMc doesn't seem to want to come back on any permanent capicity and has moved on with her career. It is all lateral moves at this point.

Burton has never struck me as an articulate man.  It's a very stupid and unfunny "joke."  It wasn't malicious, but anytime you imply something about a woman's age, expect for women to get pissy.  Now when you imply it to a group of soap opera fannies, expect it to be 100x worse.

This comes after he tried to say another joke on Monday during his live chat with KM that those who grew up with "above ground pools" were "white trash."    He knew the joke had failed so terribly, he had to clarify that he was "kidding."   Kelly's look on her face was priceless when he said it. Whoever told this guy he was funny should have quit while they were ahead.

I also don't understand why KM is constantly brought into their convos on their podcast when she clearly refuses to acknowledge his presence outside of the workplace.  She hasn't budged yet on propping their pairing on social media.

This is what bothers me. That at least part of the reason KeMo and BM are irked with SBu is because they are together irl and now they can’t work together on-screen. It all seems so suspect.

I don't think they are together anymore but are obviously friends.  TR hasn't been on set in awhile.  But yea this shit is hysterical and childish at the same time.  Anyone trying to deny Kelly has not shaded this man since he came back needs their eyes checked at this point. But many jasamers want to claim they're "friends."   Sure, jan.

But even if they’re not together, it still appears they’re irritated that SBu came back and ruined their on-screen pairing/interaction/whatever. And if that’s the main reason...it just seems really, really irrelevant. Like, I hope there’s a better reason there.

I think that is most definitely the main reason based on the comments they've made in public.  I think lots of egos are bruised as well and Drew is basically a nothing character right now and if Billy leaves, Drew is most likely going out as the baddie to Jason.  It's all very bitter on set.

When SBu returned, KMo went from having a decent storyline for Sam to regressing 10 years and having Sam as Jason's shadow and Sonny apologist.  If she cares at all about her craft, she's got to be pissed off hugely.

I heard that SBu wanted Jason to be the same character that he always was, and part of that was Sam going back to being with his Jason. That's just hearsay, I don't have proof.

What I see on screen is that he's not a giving actor to his scene partner. All the work in a JaSam scene is on Kelly.  Or the kid playing Jake.  On the other hand, BM works harder with gestures and business. If she prefers to play opposite BM rather than SBu, that's on Steve.

My point is that you don't have to look to her personal relationship with BM to see why she would be shading SBu these days.

How is that on Steve if a major part of BM and KeMo’s work together is based on their personal relationship?

Around March, right after the convention....it was very obvious that the network pulled the Drew/Sam pairing.  I'm pretty sure BTS nonsense had a lot to do with it and that was not the original plan.   Very very shady shit involved.

Hard with his gestures? They're rote for hm. That's why Elizabeth and Alexis were getting pecks on the cheek out of nowhere from Drew.

Kelly has been sleeping in her scenes and it's not because SB has been giving her zilch. (And he's been acting in their scenes. He hasn't blown my socks off or anything, but so far, he hasn't been phoning it in.) I don't know why, but that's not the reason.

I do think it must be less annoying to work with a guy who isn't afraid to take off his shirt around her, but imo BM has not worked harder. His handsy gestures are rote for him just like Steve's blink blink routine is for him.

Steve on his podcast said he thought they were going to do something with Ava, so he hasn't automatically expected a Jasam reunion (immediately at least) either. It is indeed hearsay.

Should he maybe speak up to TPTB and say, "hey guys, I'm almost 50, maybe we should ditch the stupid tee every day look"? Yeah, I think so. But the show doubled down on Carsason way before he showed up again. Ron was fired and then we were getting paralyzed Sonny and a lovedovey fifth wedding for Carson and Sonny buying fireworks. The show obviously thought the problem was Ron hadn't been featuring them enough. Sigh.

Ehh, I think Kelly is more aggressive here with her dislike but Burton is one of the few happy ones on set.  I think he loves that he's essentially "winning" and Drew is floundering.   No matter what he says that he's just there to "act" and doesn't "care..."    A load of shit imo.

You have two men with gigantic egos, I don't know what FV expected but it hasn't gone well at all.

I guess it depends on if Billy is willing to play someone other than Billy Abbott.  I think Mal Young likes JT over there but never say never.
