Amber's "I'm just so confused why he thinks I'm an unfit mom" wins for most ridiculous comment of the episode. Like really Amber? You don't know why? Not even a little hunch? Maybe because you're a mentally unstable addict engaged to someone you met on twitter? Or because it's been well documented that you never gave a shit about your daughter when you had custody? Just throwing some ideas out there. If Amber actually got 50-50 custody, not only would hell freeze over but she would definitely get tired of having to parent and would be begging for Gary to take Leah back. It made me sad when Leah got recognized at the park for being on Teen Mom. Kids are mean, and if they know who she is they probably have some choice comments about her mother. This show has gone on far too long.

 

Baby Emilee (or however they butchered it) looks just like Gary.

Catelynn clearly never warmed up to the separate bachelor party idea. She's so insecure I just want to give her a hug, and then a "What the fuck are you doing????" shake. I know that she knows that Tyler doesn't care about her, but she won't face the facts. And did she really take her addict mother to a bar? What could possibly go wrong....

 

Farrah claims that she "rose above" the adult industry.... Ok then why is she pushing her x-rated merchandise? And attending porn conventions? Deborah is such a leghumper, she needs to take what little dignity she has left and go. She probably wants to stay in Farrah's good graces so she can continue to see Sophia, although I can't for the life of me imagine why anyone would want to spend time with that feral child. The whole business with the Hamptons party was just dumb. Farrah is just soooooooo above it, but she still takes the time to get dressed up and try to crash it. Amber really needs to stop with her little digs: Complaining about how Leah was dressed for the first day of school, complaining about the shoes Leah is wearing. Did they know you were going to the park? Maybe if they did, they would have had her wear them. OR maybe you could keep extra items with you for just this occasion. And another thing, I don't believe anything that Amber says that Leah "said". Why do the cameras never catch her? I mean, outside of the sleeping all day thing. I can't remember, did Leah say that to Gary on camera or was that something Gary said that Leah said?

 

Nice to see that Ryan can actually be playful and fun for his son. I'm sure it isn't a regular thing, but it is nice to know that he's capable or loosening up.

 

Way to ruin dinner Maci. How can she NOT see that she's annoying with the constant talk about getting married? You slept with the guy, had his child and bought a home without a ring so, please don't act like the sanctity of marriage means anything to you.

Man, this After Show is making me feel a little (just a little) bit bad for Farrah. Clearly the other girls are friends and hanging out, and she's the odd man out. It's her own fault of course, but it is still awkward to watch.

 

That being said, she must be contractually obligated to attend this because she doesn't look like she wants to be there. Regarding the white party, I don't recall how the friend told her about it, but was she actually invited to attend? I don't think so because of how they took it back when they found out she was coming? What did she hope to achieve by just showing up? If no one wants you there, don't go! I felt bad for Farrah on the after show.  The other girls all shared one couch and appear to be very close and then there is Farrah on the other couch looking uncomfortable.  Then they were all cackling about their night out.  At least Farrah was diplomatic. 

 

Maci is such a contradiction.  She says on the after show that she allows Bentley to see Ryan because it's best for him, even when she doesn't want to, however she was JUST talking about limiting the weekends during the episode.  Also, what is marriage really going to change about your relationship Maci?  You already own a home and have a child together.  On the flip side, I wonder why Taylor won't just pop the question since they are basically living the married life.  It was funny how pissed Maci looked when Taylor's friend pretty much told her to stop pressuring him.  And her passive aggressive comment about people in her life tiring of waiting for him to propose was uncalled for.  Don't drag your family and friends into that discussion.  That's a wuss move.  Speak on what you want in your relationship and why but don't try to use other people to apply added pressure.

 

I don't know why but Catelynn on the after show was so annoying to me.  Also, that stripper hyping their relationship is the reason they think their shit doesn't stink. Catelynn's smug look during that conversation was annoying.

I'm about 20 minutes in and am already pissed off. I don't like any of these people, they are all horrible in their own ways and I honestly question my sanity when I watch this every week. Why do I watch when all it does is piss me off and make me yell at my TV?!

I do not in any way, shape or form feel bad for Farrah and never will. The other girls don't shun her for no reason, she's a despicable, horrible, disrespectful, delusional fucking bitch and I wouldn't want anything to do with her either. If she was a normal human being, I don't think the other girls would shun her at all, but Farrah is a lot of things and normal is not one of them. You can't treat people like they're shit on your shoes then expect them to want to giggle on the same couch with you or go out with you. I have my 27th happily unmarried anniversary on May 15th. A license won't make us stay together. The fact that we're happy, mature adults who have mutual respect, don't fight over stupid shit, have good humor and genuinely love and care about each other is what will make us last.

Believe me - I get that this is how reality tv castmembers think (and live their life), but it's weird how the producers show how much the behind-the-scenes stuff influences their lives and decisions.

It's also weird to see the producers jump in all the time as friends to the moms, instead of keeping a professional distance. For all her protestations, Farrah knows that her negative reputation is due to the porno, not Teen Mom, and that's why she ran away and hid in the bathroom. The producer did her no favors when she tried to console her, and exclaimed that the "sex tape" was "years ago," and ppl. should get over it. I can also sympathize with the producers for putting up with the bullshit from this cast because it's not their place as filmmakers to interfere, but Dr. Drew can go fuck himself. He's supposed to be the voice of reason, but he consistently sides with the shitty people on the season recaps. He's sided with Farrah against Deb, Jenelle against Barbara, Leah against Corey, and Kailyn against Jo. For an addiction counselor he did a lousy job of ignoring Leah's obvious pill problem when she was on stage with him. I wish Teen Mom would replace Dr. Drew with Dr. Phil so people would actually be called out on their bullshit.

I agree and congratulations by the way!   But I'm not sure that believing your marriage will last forever is such a bad thing - especially when you're young and have kids together.    Having been married once before this one, I can say that the piece of paper can make it tougher to leave and often is the difference between working through things together and leaving when the relationship hits a rough patch.  

 

Do any of these people (besides Taylor and Ryan) have jobs?   Gary, Tyler, Creepy Matt, April, Deborah, Maci, Amber?   I get that Catelyn is staying home with her baby I'm glad she can afford to do that but the rest of these deadbeats baffle me.   Do they think it will be easier to enter the workforce at 25 without any skills or experience?    Why do I feel like the taxpayers of Indiana are going to end up supporting Gary, Christina, Matt, and Amber?  

 

ETA:  I didn't count Farrah; I know she makes money from this and that and has some sort of sex toy line but that's not the same as a j.o.b or career.   That's the same as income from this show in my opinion.     As much as she likes to think it's true, she's not Kim Kardashian.

Why does Farrah have to be on this show? WHY?? I don't know exactly how she was treated as a kid. But I do know that there are kids that had it A LOT worse growing up & they turned out a lot better. Even her Mother had made some mistakes, she tries to be there for her now but Farrah doesn't make it easy. Her mom was right though, it wasn't Teen Mom that got her banned from that party. The one I truly feel bad for is Sophia. I mean, even when Farrah is trying to be loving, she's still flat and cold.

I really don't know what to think about Gary. I don't know why he doesn't want Amber to have more time with Leah. Something tells me that it isn't only because he thinks Leah should be in a stable home. I'm sure some of it has to do with the mistakes Amber has made & that's ridiculous. I know Amber lacks people skills, doesn't listen, and she can be a bitch. But she seems to be good with Leah and that's what counts. Gary's relationship with that girl is weird. I think Farrah smiles more than she does. Before she got pregnant, Gary didn't even want to be with her. A kid isn't gonna change that.

I don't really get why ppl think Ty doesn't want to be with Catelynn. If a person doesn't want to be with someone, they usually don't get married to them. IMO, they do want to be together but neither of them are in it for the right reasons. I think they're comfortable with each other & they've been through a lot together. They're more like best friends.

Another thing I don't understand is what some ppl have against Maci. I think she's a good Mom. I've read things about her but that doesn't mean I know what's going on with her all the time. I think she's a good Mom. She gets a little boring to watch sometimes but I think that's good. It means that Bentley and Jayde will be spending less money on therapy when they get older than all the other Teen Mom kids!!

I don't remember if it was in this episode or the Aftershow, but at some point someone asked Farrah about being single, and she answered by saying she should do a reality show centered on finding her a boyfriend. I swear, these reality show famewhores can't live a normal life outside of the cameras. All they do is look for opportunities to get one reality show paycheck after another. Believe it or not, Caitlyn and Tyler make me the saddest. They recognized they were too young to raise a child at 16, so they gave Carly up in order to finish their high school years as normal kids, finish school, and make something of themselves. What are they doing all these years later? Sitting around the house, not working, not going to college, and having another baby. The TV fame bug hits them all hard, and it's sometimes pathetic, and usually sad.

Amber & Gary will never co-parent effectively.  It's my opinion that Gary never really got over Amber and as such, isn't in a place where he wants to see her happy.  He's constantly hoping that she fails.  Amber has issues of her own, but I feel she is at least trying to be a better parent.  I'm still waiting for the other shoe to drop with the Matt guy.  I hope it's merely that he saw Amber as a meal ticket and that he doesn't have more nefarious intentions.  

 

I love that Amber was proud to declare that no, she doesn't sleep all day, she gets up at 10:30am when she has Leah!

Okay, now Farrah didn't make a 'sex tape' with her boyfriend that got leaked. She did porn videos, has a sex toy line, does porn show appearances and did strip club appearances. She was/is in the porn industry. On purpose.  Yes, Paris and Kim had sex tapes and they are welcome to all the parties etc. But they weren't women who just fell off the turnip truck, had a sex tape, and then became famous. They were women in wealthy connected families already and that is the only reason anyone cared they had a sex tape in the first place.  All Farrah did was win the knocked up high school cheerleader lotto and got on MTV. Sadly, we were all younger then and did not yet realize the stank monster that had been unleashed upon the innocent public in the form of one Farrah Abraham.  She is not welcome because she is not one of them and has no business trying to pretend that she moves in those circles. Add in that she is a consistently nasty human being to be around and no, I would not let her come to my party either.  I thought it was funny that when the guy who brought them identified himself to the person screening the guests he said it was him 'plus one'.  The fact that he had two barnacles clinging to him at the time in both Farrah and Debra fascinates me. Even if they let him bring Farrah as his 'plus one', one who was specifically told not to show up, he not only brought her but another on top of her as well. What a tool. 

 

I like Catelynn best of all of them. I think she is sweet and a good mom too. I think she and Ty are comfortable with each other and friends and that's not a bad way to be married after being together ten years. I'm not sure they'd be together if it weren't for MTV making their story continue forever but we'll never know and they have stayed together and seem to really like each other and love each other. It's not the passionate new romance kind of love, but a lot of people have a lot less and I am glad for them. I hope they can make it last. 

 

I don't like Maci because she plays so many games and just comes off like a little...something unflattering I won't say. But she is a good mom I think. And she does try.  But I would never be friends with her. She really just rubs me the wrong way. Still love Jen and Larry. I have no idea how they wound up with Ryan. Even Ryan's friends seem fed up with his lack of paternal interest. He does what he's shamed into doing. It's sad.

Wow, Butch sure did clean up well! He looked like a post-prison Sean Penn. I hope he had a good time going out with the guys and wasn't too tempted to mess up his sobriety. 

 

I have really nothing else to say about Cate and Ty's segments. Strip clubs skeeve me out and the idea of getting drunk is way past fun to me, so I just kind of zoned out on their parts. I do think April is looking a lot rougher than she has in previous seasons. And I would find it to be the height of awkwardness to pick up my son and ex husband in a strip club. This family definitely has some interesting dynamics. 

 

 

 

Maci - why do people insist on pressuring young kids about boyfriends and girlfriends!!! It drives me mad. It's like you're setting them up to think that they can't just be friends with someone of the opposite gender. Good Lord, let Bintley have little GIRL friends at school and don't make anything more of it. "I had boyfriends in Kindergarten and first grade". Yeaaaaa, that might be part of the problem. 

 

As with Cate and Ty, the Vegas trip was a big old yawn fest. And then Maci had to go and be a total buzzkill at dinner. The guys were just kind of joshing each other about kids and rings, but she had to make it all super serious. "Let's just end it then". Wow, way to make everyone at the table uncomfortable. Honestly, I don't know what Taylor's deal is, but I really do not think he wants to marry her. I don't even get the impression he likes her that much. Then again, he doesn't really exude enthusiasm for anything. But I thought it was very telling that he ,mentioned wanting another season while in the barber shop. Maybe he just hooked up with Maci for the attention and easy ride. 

 

 

 

Matt and Amber sure go out to eat a lot. I guess when Amber rolls out of bed at 3 pm, she just can't be bothered to cook. 

 

No, I really don't know what to think about these claims that she sleeps all day. Surely we've seen evidence of that in the past, so it's not unbelievable. But kids can exaggerate too. They also tend to wake up really early. Maybe Matt gets up with her and Amber rolls out of bed a few hours later and to Leah that feels like an eternity. Maybe she mentioned it once to Gary and he went with it. I don't know. It just feels mighty coincidental that right when Amber starts talking about 50-50 custody (which I do NOT think she's ready for, by the by), Leah starts being apprehensive about going over there. And we have seen Amber taking Leah places and doing stuff with her from the time she got out of prison up until the present. With Gary's obese ass, I can't imagine he's that much more active with her. 

 

Good Lord, cousin Kristal is pregnant. Good on you, Amber for staying on your Depo! 

 

I had to laugh so hard when the producer commented on Matt's "Amber" tattoo and he's all, "I've had this forever". Bitch, you've only been with her for 5 minutes. So simma down. I just can't with Matt. I am undecided on Amber right now, but Leah is her kid and I can understand her feelings about this current custody situation. Matt has left behind potentially SEVEN kids on the east coast. We never hear him talk about them, they've never visited to my knowledge. I doubt he's paying even a nickel for any of them. So his comments about custody arrangements are not needed, thank you very much. 

 

 

 

Wow. Farrah was really on a narcissistic and delusional roll this week, wasn't she? I don't even know where to begin. 

 

First, does she really need to drag Sophia to every damn "business" meeting or event she has to go to. Maybe the child would enjoy going to a park or museum while Farrah pimps her inflated ass for cupcakes? 

 

Farrah getting barred from, and subsequently removed from, the White Party was the highlight of my year. (I know, we're only 2 weeks in, but I feel confident I could say the same come December.) I love how she immediately wanted to blame her association with Teen Mom and "other Teen Moms". Now, I have no idea who was hosting this particular White Party, or what their reasons for banning Farrah Abraham could be, but there are a plethora of possible ones. Teen Mom would be just the beginning. The PORNO could be another. The appearances on a multitude of reality shows could be another. Or how about simply the way she treats people? You go on TV, acting like an ass, cursing people up and down, and then act surprised when people don't want you at their party? Girl, please. 

 

And it makes me really uncomfortable to watch how Debra reacts in these situations. She immediately goes into ass kissing mode. She was basically tripping all over herself to prop Farrah up. It reminded me of the girl who's on the very fringes of the "mean girl" group in high school. She's trying SO hard not to be completely cast out. It was quite sad to watch, actually. And even the producer (is this one Heather?) was walking on eggshells and trying her best to placate Farrah. Just ridiculous! 

 

Farrah says she's embarrassed by Teen Mom? Then get off the show! Surely with your skin care and hot sauce and God knows what else you don't need the pittance from MTV? And then, and then.....when all else fails and everyone is criticizing her - better bring up "Daddy Derek" and start crying! I just can't with her.

I don't like Maci because she plays so many games and just comes off like a little...something unflattering I won't say. But she is a good mom I think. And she does try.  But I would never be friends with her. She really just rubs me the wrong way. Still love Jen and Larry. I have no idea how they wound up with Ryan. Even Ryan's friends seem fed up with his lack of paternal interest. He does what he's shamed into doing. It's sad.

 

Maci's biggest problem is she is just super immature. It's like she never got past 17, emotionally. She's irresponsible and thinks she's always right, and is vindictive. In other words, she's just like a 17 year old. Too bad she's pushing 25.

 

I don't get Ryan. His disinterest in the beginning was unfortunate, but as he became marginally more involved, I assumed he's one of those guys who just doesn't bond with babies, and he seemed better when Bentley was about 2 or so. However, each season he has just become more and more checked out. Not sure if it's drugs, depression, or if he just doesn't give a shit and never did. Sad for Bentley. For his sake, I hope Taylor does stick around.I don't have high hopes for that but as insufferable as Maci is, it's not like Taylor is some huge catch either. Even without taking her Teen Mom money and D list fame into consideration, it's not like he could pull much better than Maci.

I'm not saying I think Gary would be above manipulating Leah to hurt Amber, but in this particular case, I don't think he is. We know Amber is super lazy. We know she drinks a lot, so on top of laziness she's also probably hungover a lot. Yes, Gary is also pretty useless but I think Kristina does make the effort with her, and plus, Kristina has a daughter close in age to Leah right? Although we never see her, it's not unfathomable that the daughter is there and plays with Leah when the cameras aren't rolling.

 

As far as timing, with the way these guys play around with the editing, I'm not sure we can always conclude what is a coincidence and what has been spliced together. It's also possible that the timing is important, and that Leah was willing to suck it up for the 3 or so hours a week she went to Amber's, but when faced with the prospect of regularly being over there, balked. Who knows. I'm no Gary apologist, but it's completely believable to me that Leah's trepidation about staying at Amber's has nothing to do with anything Gary has said or done.

Regarding the white party, I don't recall how the friend told her about it, but was she actually invited to attend? I don't think so because of how they took it back when they found out she was coming? What did she hope to achieve by just showing up? If no one wants you there, don't go! You proved nothing by showing up there.

 

Her "business partner" told her she could bring a plus one, and Farrah could join her. Then the woman called back later and said the planners/hosts/whoever said Farrah was not welcome. So Farrah shows up anyhow. Because that's super classy. Anyhow, it looked like she did get in - with someone else. I'd have to watch again, but it appeared she was a "plus one" of some dude. But once inside, she surely didn't last long. 

 

I don't know why but Catelynn on the after show was so annoying to me.

 

Her body language was annoying me. She was just way too relaxed and slumped over on that couch. I thought she was going to pull a Jenelle and actually lay down whilst talking to everyone. 

 

I don't really get why ppl think Ty doesn't want to be with Catelynn. If a person doesn't want to be with someone, they usually don't get married to them. IMO, they do want to be together but neither of them are in it for the right reasons. I think they're comfortable with each other & they've been through a lot together. They're more like best friends.

 

Well, look how long it took them to get married. He proposed once, called off the wedding, went on Couples Therapy, proposed again, and FINALLY got married. I do think Tyler loves her, but I don't think he's in love with her. I think he feels obligated to stay with her because of Carly, and I think he's also scared to break up the "America's Sweetheart" couple of the TM franchise. Cate is way more into him than he is into her, that's obvious to me. But I think that's mainly because she's insecure and doesn't think she could ever do any better. So yea, I don't think either are in it for the right reasons either - and, sadly, people get married all the time when they don't want to. But, ya know, it could be worse than being married to your best friend. Relationships go through many changes over the years. I could actually see them making it long term, even if it's not as perfect as either of them would like it to be.

My God Maci...we all have heard about how you had a ton of boyfriends in kindergarten.  As an adult, you tried to baby trap one guy and another guy is only with you for the Mtv paycheck.  How about you ask how Bintlee likes his classes or does he enjoy learning? 

 

I think Bintlee is such a great kid (from what little we can see) because Maci is a decent mother, but also because of great grandparents.  Maci can be a bit of a chicken head and I swear her priority in life is partying and hooking on to a guy.

 

Farrah is disgusting.  She is trying to milk porn for all the money she can get, but will never admit that she is an adult entertainer.  This is why many in the porn industry hate her.

It made me sad when Leah got recognized at the park for being on Teen Mom. Kids are mean, and if they know who she is they probably have some choice comments about her mother. This show has gone on far too long.

Farrah claims that she "rose above" the adult industry.... Ok then why is she pushing her x-rated merchandise? And attending porn conventions? Deborah is such a leghumper, she needs to take what little dignity she has left and go. She probably wants to stay in Farrah's good graces so she can continue to see Sophia, although I can't for the life of me imagine why anyone would want to spend time with that feral child. The whole business with the Hamptons party was just dumb. Farrah is just soooooooo above it, but she still takes the time to get dressed up and try to crash it. But of course it's all beneath her and doesn't even matter. 

 

She actually made the comment to Amber after Leah called her over to meet her friend, but I still call shenanigans on that little girl actually knowing Amber from Teen Mom. Either her mother knows, and made the comment as Amber and co. entered the park or she asked what the cameras were for when they were miking her up and getting permission to film her, and they told her. Picture some 6 or 7 year old picking Amber out of a lineup. And then Amber: "you see? She can't get away from it," or whatever little poor us comment she made. Bitch, don't go around town with cameras on you! I promise people will leave you the fuck alone. The streets are lined with ex-reality TV personalities that nobody remembers. 

 

Speaking of bad decisions, who in the Suri Cruise decided little heels and wedges were necessary, never mind appropriate, for 4-8 year olds? Don't they have enough time to have strained calves and corns from having their feet pushed forward? Heels and manicures at 5. Fix it, Jeebus. This is why kids look like Kylie and the rest of these girls who look 40 by the time they're 16. There's nothing to wait for, so they reach middle-age wardrobe and makeup by then.

I know Macy co-signed on the after show, but I highly doubt it's because y'all are on Teen Mom. Hell, nobody would even invite y'all to stuff if you weren't! I notice Catelynn kept quiet, because nobody is turning her away for supposed trashy behavior. Even Amber knew it wasn't about the show, but her other antics. Buy a clue, ladies. The child gets zero intellectual stimulation, so she does what kids will do in that situation, she becomes a terror. 

 

Maci, Maci. did she not say that she wouldn't pressure a guy into proposing, yet didn't she do exactly that with Kyle? But he ran. Instead, Taylor procreates and starts living off MTV too. What is up with the short hair beardy man look he and his bros sport? I seriously don't get it. Boy Bentley has turned into a little man, hasn't he? He looks so grown up. It's more obvious now that he is older how young Maci was when she had him. 

 

Amber and Rick Moranis need to take a chill pill over Leah. Live your life in a way to demonstrate that you deserve custody and then go to the courts. She and Rick have no jobs, a sordid history and seem to couch surf all day. Courts will give a side eye to relationships that started in rehab, just saying. The only thing those two seem to be able to accomplish is to get more and more ugly tattoos.

 

I personally prefer salt and pepper Butch, but I was glad to see the mane go. Cate was not happy about the whole strip club thing. But as usual Tyler gets his way. 

 

ETA: When  Amber and Rick Moranis were discussing Gary's comments about Amber sleeping all day, did Amber say that she gets up at 10:30? And compared it to 2 or 3pm like in her druggie days? Like 10:30 is some kind of great accomplishment. She has a 5 year old. They wake up early, plus Leah is in school. In what world is getting up at 10:30 a good thing when you don't have a job and you want your 5 year old living with you?

LOL, you could tell by the look on his face right after he said that that he realized he may have stepped in it. I don't really care for Gary. I think he is a down low mind fucker. But in this case, I didn't think he meant that in a negative way towards Leah. I think he was trying to express that he became a single parent when Amber was whacked out on drugs and subsequently in prison. He did all the heavy lifting and she waltzes back in and wants to call the shots. I kind of get where he is coming from. But, at the same time - it's been a few years now and Amber hasn't gotten in any trouble. She may not be setting the world on fire, but she's mostly on the straight and narrow. At some point he's going to have to start giving her a bit more leeway.

Well, this is coming from a woman who's taken about 6 years to get half of a degree, so it's quite apparent learning is not her strong suit. I tend to think the only reason she was interested in school, prior to getting pregnant, was for the continued socializing and partying that would go on at college if she had gone with all her friends.
