Oh OK yeah there was that thanks Anna yolei........

Maybe we need the ghost of Stephanie to haunt Eric and Quinn, considering some of the other oddball stuff that happens on this show why not?

Is Susan Flannary dead?

Susan is not dead, just retired.

But  Steffy did kill Aly didn't she?

I am still mad she got off without so much as a slap on the wrist for Aly's death. If Lt. Hot Dog did nothing more than handcuff her, I would've been happy.

Also, considering Ivy was blackmailing her with that video and Steffy tried to take her out via the electric panel, how are they all buddy buddy and besties maybe a year later?

ETA: The hell was Ridge getting emotional for? Dude, her on-screen wedding to Wyatt was not even a year ago. It was the end of March/1 April area. You are proud of a chick who started the year engaged to one in January and by March was walking down the aisle with his brother and then divorced the March husband to marry his brother. Two weddings and a divorce in one year? You should be crying, Sludge. Crying and hoping she'll do better? Crying because you're footing the bill and know this won't be her last walk down the aisle? Crying because as a designer the eggshell train did not match the jumpsuit's off-white colour and upset your heart? I'll accept any of the above, but I won't accept Sludge crying because his "little girl" is getting married.

That zip line swing was so basic and cheap looking. My god, that was lame. And I don't think Steffy's train would've been so bad if it at least matched the color of the jumpsuit.

Liam is nervous that yhis, won't go through? Pfffft, that would be made more sense if it was Hope he was attempting to get hitched to. He and Steffy are 3-1 as opposed to Lope's 0-4 (at least).

That Steffy/Ivy dialogue legit pissed me right the fuck off, even more than Stephanie's death scene. Ivy has far too much class; not even St. Bridget was so graceful to help Nick set up a wedding for Brooke or Katie. But yeah, it was barely a year ago that she fried Ivy, no? Fail.

Aly was primed to go for Liam since she was so obsessed with him on Hope's behalf. I liked it better when he was like a big brother to her and they were keeping it platonic, but it wouldn't have surprised me if she had tried to go there since Hope was gone.

See, this is basically the anniversary of Liam and Quinn's captive cabin escapade, which was basically started when Liam bonked his head escorting Ivy to Australia. Has anyone mentioned this? Has Liam thought, 'Wait a minute, hell no do I not want to take a long ass flight to Australia when last year it set off a chain of events that nearly destroyed my life and sure as hell not on the same plane as the woman who kidnapped/violated/brainwashed me around this time last year.' ?

He and Steffy should've gone to City Hall and signed some papers and then gone on the Zencole offscreen green screen honeymoon.

No way they last a year. 9 months tops. No one has lasted longer than a year so far except Rick and Maya. Eric and Quinn - who we were supposed to believe was the real deal - didn't have even 5 months of wedded bliss before she was goo goo eying Ridge.

In an interview Scott Clifton says he doesn't know what comes next (which could be a lie) but that the payoff for Steam fans was them finally getting married and happy for a while, but that a) Statt has their fans and b) couples can't stay happy for long since this is a soap so expect bumps to happen.

Thomas and Sally are gonna get the bulk of time for the near future. My money is Liam wants to have a baby ASAP (around June/July after 3 months of marriage), Steffy wants to focus on work. It erodes their relationship to the point she turns back to Wyatt, has a one night stand, and she gets pregnant but doesn't know who the baby daddy is.

I don't mind if they split up after six months this time. For once, Liam is not pining away for another woman, and given how he's always tried to control Hope and Steffy's work lives, a split over Steffy wanting to put work first over popping out his Eggo Minis seems like a logical progression for a split. I'm positive that Waffles' insecurity was not an intentional character trait, but if it works for the sake of plot...

That type of entrance requires a certain amount of graceful elegance and delicate femininity that JMW simply does not posses. I found myself thinking back to Brooke's famous entrance on horseback for her and Ridge's beach wedding after Taylor's first death. While the dress was a bit too frou frou for my taste, KKL herself was simply stunning. Her beautiful smile was shining, her hair was nicely done, and she had the grace to carry that whole scene. After watching Steffy catapult down to her guests, I was reminded of a really bad Vaudeville act, or worse still, something you would see in an old style Bordello. I have to admit though, that I was relieved when I saw the swing. After hearing Steffy tell Liam should would "fly" to him, and then we saw her buckling up, I thought she was going to hang glide in. And that outfit? As said above; it was nearly the same as the black number she wore for the motorcycle wedding. This off white one is really unappealing though, and not the least bit flattering.

Ivy's natural beauty stole the photo shoot; other than the colors I didn't like either dress.

Thomas seemed so happy to see Sally! Made my heart go pitter patter, but what is this obsession with showing him shirtless? I mean seriously, he comes in from the shoot and just starts undressing in front of her? I'm glad Sally is there, and I am glad that there (at least for now), wasn't any disruption to the happy event, but that get up Sally wore? Great color, but not at all appropriate. I thought that was her lounging around the hotel garb.

Where the fuck is Taylor?

They are setting this whole R/B/Q/E thing up to explode in a major way. All this talk about happy families, and all the kumbaya we have had with Ridge and Eric, and Quinn telling Eric how much she loves him, and Brooke so desperate to make Katie understand that she must have her friggin Destiny. It is too much, and it is too much over the top. I have no doubt that Eric will evict Ridge from his life, and I can only hope that Brooke does the same. So what does that mean for Ridge? A designer with no place to design? Will he be the one to defect to Spectra? And what about Quinn? Eric won't keep her around either. I find the prospect of Quinn and Sally very intriguing. And I have this thought germinating in the back of my head that this will somehow lead Brooke back to Eric. I don't know why, and I certainly don't want that, but something tells me she will help Eric pick up the pieces and they will somehow reunite. I would hate it, but I would hate it less than Eric/Katie.

Yeah, the shirtless bit is way overdone. He's not that fucking hot and the scenes in which he does, except in the hotel room or at the tacky rooftop workout place where people eat, are so inappropriate. Sally's outfit was THE worst. How are they trying to make her the owner of a successful design house when she has such highly questionable taste? I was disappointed at her taking that photo, too.

And where is she sleeping?

I, too, have been wondering if Eric and Brooke will end up together. It would be nice if they were the betrayers instead of Quinn and Ridge, but then where would that leave Bill?

Why in the world did TPTB think it was a good idea for Steffy to be wearing a dead squirrel on her head.

Common Steffy, Liam allows you to live your life to the fullest?  That was Wyatt not Liam.  The only thing good about the last few shows are the views of Sydney.

Lack of competition, I guess? But yeah, I'm confused, too. I thought the cut off for material was September for some reason.

LOL at Scott Clifton's nomination as well. He doesn't stand a ghost of a chance next to Peter Bergman .

And Nicole? There are a million words in the English language and no combination of such can convey how little she deserves that nomination. At least JMW has paid her dues...when Nicole is finally written out the show, she'll be as memorable to audiences as Jessica Forrester and Friends(tm)...if even that much.

THIS! Being Ivy Forrester was back on her home turf in Sydney, I hoped her father John (Fred Willard) and never-seen/periodically mentioned mother Clair would be in attendance.

TIIC chooses not to show any historic continuity for the extended Forrester families, with dismal and pathetic results.

Quote

I dunno, out of all Steffy's weddings I feel the IIC should have tried to book a HTy appearance for this. That way, should could've been included in Thursday's retrospective with Brooke and Eric. She may not have been a day one player, but Taylor's influence on the show has given the character more lives than most cats I know ?

If anything it would have grounded what is supposed to be a sacramental ceremony from the contrived This Is All About ME! Destination Wedding for Fun Because We Are FUN AND WE'RE GONNA' HAVE FUN! DAMMIT!

I was laughing during that ceremony. Why was Steffy hyperventilating? I got the feeling that since JMW probably is unable to cry on cue that the result was they breathy raspy laughing.  I dunno but it was pretty awful.  Even SC looked perplexed by her delivery. Should he kiss the bride or give her CPR?  I really don't see how those two make each other "better."  We've seen that Liam is controlling and actually "willful, strong, unpredictable" Steffy pretty much is his docile doormat when they are at home.

All of the Steffy worship was really making me want to hurl. Especially what was rolling off Chickenhead's drunken tongue. She is NOT smart, sexy, sophisticated, etc. I see her as an arrogant spoiled child who is not beneath some pretty nefarious doings to get what she wants (usually another woman's man.) She really is just an (dis)illusion in the minds of these men and like I've said, the "Fool's Gold Cooter." Speaking of, I guess the FGC got fixed so now she can pop out mini-Eggos?

$Bill's salute to the wedding couple was badly written, but Ridge's left-handed salutation about Steffy marrying (re-marrying) the right waffle stank. Sheesh! Where were your concerns and objections a year ago at that cobbled-together beach wedding with Wyatt?

Quote

Crying because as a designer the eggshell train did not match the jumpsuit's off-white colour and upset your heart? I'll accept any of the above, but I won't accept Sludge crying because his "little girl" is getting married.

Like the train, the lace of the jumpsuit was white, but with the nude lining and Steffy's spray-tanned skin gave the lace an yellowish cast in natural light. If the train had been lined with nude tulle to shadow the train into a similar shade, the entire garment would have looked more coordinated and color-matched.

"You will always be my little girl/I will always be your little girl," was a truck-load of horse shit. What fabrication of TIIC whole cloth has this version of Ridge shown any paternal tenderness? And when was Steffy, that reckless, intractable, obstinate harridan, a "little girl?"

Under six months.

I expect Steffy will go ballistic on the already-resentful Thomas for inviting Sally2 to her wedding, and he will leave FC to join Spectra Fashions as  head designer and bank account. She will be angry and not let go of Thomas' "betraying the family," and Liam will get thrown under the bus for defending Thomas going independent. Or perhaps Liam will get his noggin conked again, and suddenly remember Wyatt and Steffy in bed together when he returned from Australia, before he lost his memory and joined "Eve" in the Magical Cabin in the Woods. Liam realizes Steffy betrayed him with his brother (not that this an actual issue between two half-brothers who've passed two women between them as sex partners).

Really, the how they split up isn't as important as the tedious inevitability that TIIC will split them up for the Plot Plot Plot.

I tuned in yesterday for the first time in awhile and am still laughing over the cheesy-cheap CGI background in the zipline/swing entrance.  Has JMW had even more surgery done to her face?  She looks more artificial every time I watch this show.

Poor Chickenhead, stuck at home drinking with Nicole and Zzzzzzzzzende waiting for his new hairstyle to grow in.  I wish TIIC would let this character evolve and be something other than a loser to Waffles.  DB is a good actor and deserves better.

Sydney is seriously gorgeous.  KKL, RS, AB and the new woman playing Sally are gorgeous as well.   I may become a regular viewer again - the new Spectra crew seems interesting.

Amen. I remember the show setting him up as being Bill's heir apparent because he had more cajones in business than Liam has shown....what's happened to that?

It's too bad they already wasted a honeypot story on him and Nicole; Bill could've tried to talk Wyatt into seducing Sally and undermining the company to get that stupid phallic building of his. Or something.

The best thing to be said about that episode is that it is over.

I found myself simultaneously laughing, frowning, shaking my head and yelling "Oh hell no!" to all of it.

Steffy saying that Liam motivates her to live life to the fullest and sets her spirit free? Huh???? All I have ever seen Liam inspiring you to do was connive with his dad to manipulate and fuck up Hope's life.

Liam waxing on about Steffy pushing him to do new things; things he would never dream of doing in a million years. Really Liam? Yeah, it must have took all kinds of courage to walk out on that plank and try those truffle fries. And I can't imagine where you got the courage to enter the Dollar General and purchase those parachute men.

Bill's words were somewhat strange, but fitting all the same considering they were all about architecture. I am sure Bill didn't consciously want to bitch slap Wyatt, but he sure delivered one swift kick to Wyatt's crotch all the same.

Ridge? Kapooey on you! Not one mention of Phoebe or Taylor?

I am soooooo disappointed in Sally for taking those pictures, and that has nothing to do with Steffy, and everything to do with having some class and Thomas. My hope is that something happens before she returns to LA that will end the need to release them to the press.

I wanted nothing more than to see Hope make an unexpected appearance to wish the happy couple well. It would have been worth the price of admission to watch Liam and Steffy's face crack in unison. Liam's because he would be seeing the real true love of his life in the flesh for the first time in ages, and Steffy's because she would know exactly what Liam would be thinking and feeling.

That was one sad affair at the bar. Give Wyatt a SL please.

Me too, but at least she's doing the work herself and not having her sister ruin her career for it.

Still....le sigh. It's legit nice to see Thomas have the first semblance of a healthy relationship since Gabby took off and not instantly remember The Misunderstanding when he's on screen, and I hate this for inevitably becoming a sucker punch to his gut.

seemed like so much effort for a "surprise" zip line wedding (which, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA)  with 8 family members, and one outsider.  No professional photographer to document this spectacle?  Wow.  A Ridge Forrester original (blech) creation, and no documentation?  Even the FAMILY couldn't take pics? Was Bill the only one there on the groom's side?Someone need to take a pic or two of what ever the hell Sally was wearing for "What NOT to wear.  Ever, for anything.  It looked sloppy AND uncomfortable.  I think if it was a cute little dress instead of circulation blocking shorts, it could've been slightly more acceptable.

Where was Taylor?  Or even a MENTION of Taylor? That was weird.

As mentioned in another thread, HTy has been lying low following an injury with her leg a while back and there's been speculation about her newest husband not wanting her to act...? (Poor woman sure can pick 'em!)

But having no mention is odd, not the least of those being she's been pushing this union from the beginning.

But yeah, the wedding was fairly lackluster. For such a big 30th anniversary event, I feel like they could've pushed to get a few more returning cast members. When have we ever seen all six of Eric's children on canvas all at once?

Story-wise, I understand Wyatt staying at home, but that is pretty rare on this show. Ridge was the best man at Eric's wedding to Brooke in 1991, FFS! And all three of Nick's ex-wives were at his last wedding to Bridget, one of whom was the matron of honor! Or, and let's not forget that hilariously self-serving toast Ridge gave at Taylor's wedding to Whip.

Great times.

Bill shirtless or Thomas Shirtless?  Give me Bill. Star of the show?  Australia!  Steffy, daylight is not your friend. Seeing Ridge and Quinn on the beach is finally bringing me to the conclusion that they do have "heat" but not necessarily chemistry. I believe they have more "heat" than Eric/Quinn or Ridge/Brooke but sometimes "heat" is not the end all be all.  Over time "heat" can fade and chemistry keeps couples together.  IMO, Eric/Quinn and Ridge/Brooke have chemistry. As for the newlyweds, there is no heat nor chemistry. Liam has chemistry with the virginal Princess Hope but Liam/Steffy just have familiarity which is why it won't last.

Does anyone happen to know how old Steffy is supposed to be on this show? I mean I know that she's the co-CEO of an international fashion corporation although she's never been to college (to my knowledge), never actually works, has been married multiple times, been pregnant and takes time off for many cosmetic procedures but how old is she supposed to be now that she's accomplished all of the above? Great seeing the new/old open. I've been watching since Day 1 and I felt like I was transported back in time. Also, a great sunset ending for McCook & Lang. McCook looked like old Hollywood back in the day. He was 42 then & she was just 25. Crazy! He was a true (Daytime) matineee idol. KKL was so pretty with her full lips back then. It's odd she doesn't have them now when it's all the rage.

Thumbs up for the new credits. Kudos for ONCE for paying attention to continuity. That was a spot-on reproduction.

Oh, yeah, I vote for DD, too, for hottest man. TK, PF and SC can't touch him. (I noticed that Liam kept his shirt on.)

I thought it was a pretty dull episode overall. Showering more attention on the happy couple (primarily Steffy) was boring and nauseating at the same time. (I noticed that one of the commercials today was for Imodium.)

Steffy could have done without the bullying of Sally for just one day. Sally wasn't doing anything and appeared to be doing her best to remain in the background and be respectful.  What bugged me was if it was such a tightly-guarded private wedding where even immediate family members could not take photos, then how did a random "hater" just happen along to start needling Sally? That didn't make any sense.

It would be great to see Bill and Sally meet. I'm sure she has no idea that he is the one behind the pending sale and demolition of her building.  I'm curious as to which way the writers would take it. Sparks are going to fly either way, but will they be adversarial or complimentary, meaning that Bill would be impressed with Sally' chutzpah and determination.

It dawned on me that all of these accolades describing Steffy are actually more applicable to Sally. Savvy, spunky, risk-taker, beautiful, unpredictable ... OK, I won't go as far as "sophisticated," but then neither is Steffy. I guess call a draw on that point.

What would Steffy be without a female adversary?  Hope, Aly, Ivy, Quinn and now Sally.  For me, bad ass Steffy has bigger balls than Liam.
