I wouldn't be surprised if the reason Brooke and Taylor never sat down and honestly asked the question "why do I want this man", is because they're desperately scared of the answer. Realizing there isn't a single reason as to why they wasted decades of their lives on this foolishness, is probably more horrifying to them than just wasting the time they have left on him. Sad, truly sad...

They kind of did that with the whole friendship thing and they walked out on Ridge together holding hands or whatever but it certainly didn't last long. Sigh.

The only explanation I can come up with why these women would continue to chase after someone so unappealing, and who casually & constantly treats them like crap, is out of a longtime habit they both refuse to break.

Sunken cost fallacy is a helluva drug :(

I could squint and see it when RM was in the role, filling Speedos out in all the right places, putting actual effort in being romantic and was actually, genuinely funny at times. Now? Just go find a new man, I am begging lol 🫠

Lord, I really hope they don't get as enamored with the idea of Will and a motorcycle as they used to be about Steffy and her motorcycle. "No, look, she rides a motorcycle, because she's so cool!"

Truly, speaking as a California, nothing is at all exciting about riding motorcycles, especially when they speed down 580 in rush hour traffic while lane splitting, making merging into other lanes impossible. 😠

Uh. Right.

A more impressive rich person hobby would be making Will a pilot. Or maybe a sailor who meets with a certain Jack Marone at the local yatch club since Will is related to nearly every other kid born within five years in either direction.

And when Steffy said that Stephanie always knew who Brooke was, I yelled at my TV "and yet Brooke was the one she wanted with her as she died instead of your precious sainted mommy."

Honestly, Brooke should've told her to kick rocks. I accept that request as the end of an era and Valentine to the fans (to use a rightfully maligned quote from thankfully now former producer of Star Trek Rick Berman) that it was but in universe? Stephanie had A LOT to ask forgiveness for.

That aside, seeing Taylor's brain break when her best henchman best friend shut her out in her last moments was worth the price of admission.

I stopped watching months ago and as asinine as Luna being out is, I will FUCKING CHEER to see her show up at Steffy’s door with a smug smile and keys to a cage. And to see the look of whatever passes for fear and horror on that heifer’s face.

GOD YES THIS

Please show, let Luna muzzle the yapping chihuahua for good!

Nice that they topped off the 3 days of after school specials/deepfake/"pro women" lecturing with the kicker of "good, wholesome girls don't pose nude".

This show is legitimately bad right now.  It's not even bad characters or plot points.  The pacing and delivery is all absolutely off and amateur hour.

Brooke, do not beg that hobosexual for his love and forgiveness.

If I were any more dead, I’d be Taylor’s personality.

It’s kind of gross how much Steffy thinks about her parents’ relationship and reads things into it that simply aren’t there. She and her mother desperately need a new topic of conversation. The Logans are their life.

But nobody holds a candle to Brooke when it comes to being pathetic. Great, she desperately wants to give the company back to a man who unloaded misogynistic poison on her daughter and the smug, hateful bully who lives to shit on the Logan family. She’s even willing to overlook Ridge’s charity dry hump of the beige dishrag. I don’t know who this content is for, but I find it appalling.

I don't know if I'll ever get over the horror of her setting up a bang room for them in Aspen.

That right there, showed how truly disturbed Steffy actually is. I'd say her parents should have seen how desperately Steffy needed psychological treatment at that point, but then look at them. Steffy's borderline incestuous obsession with her father, mirror's his relationship with her namesake. And Taylor has made it clear she'll literally take Ridge any way she can get him, so what difference does it make that her daughter is clearly insane?

So is it Budig's fault this Taylor is such a mealy-mouthed, wimpish, dull, quivering weakling?  The character is being written that way.  She never talks about starting up her career as a doctor.  Her only reason for existing now is to worship Ridge -- and maybe she'll mention grandkids, but only briefly.

As Greenlee, Budig was only capable of being bratty & petulant & snotty -- and that was about it.  She was extremely limited as an actress.  OK, she sucked, but at least she showed strength on AMC.  Now she's just so nothing, she might as well be a picture on the wall.  If they wrote the character out & fired Budig, who'd even notice?  Nobody, that's who.

Is it laziness on the part of the writers to shove this tired Taylor-Ridge-Brooke triangle sh*t at us for the zillionth time?  Yeah, but maybe they think viewers wanna see this crap?  Hey, writers, we don't -- move on from this boring retread & create new storylines & hire new actors!  Let's see Brooke with someone much younger -- or just someone/anyone other than Ridge!

And this is why no one under 30 watches soaps anymore.

I thought the show was exceptionally out of touch fifteen years ago with all of Hope's attempts to get married before she could legally drink but this shit? In the age of OnlyFans and where sex work is a big part of the gif economy?

The show had a better grasp on this in the goddamn 80s when Donna did her tasteful nudes.

The Hobosexual is not Bold and definitely NOT Beautiful. Now Ronn Moss was both. And charming. And romantic. And funny. He couldn't act but we didn't care. He had other ... ahem ... attributes.

The Hobosexual can't act either but he can't hold a candle to RM's other... ahem.... attributes. In fact the Hobosexual doesn't have any attributes. Except being an asshat.

Will on a motorcycle will never ever never ever ever be as sexy and romantic and heroic and badass as Bo Brady rescuing Hope from her aborted wedding to Larry Something while "I Need a Hero" played as background music.

It looked to me like they'd just taken the training wheels off the bike and Will was doing his best not to break any traffic rules - that's why you call the cops and report that the heroine is being menaced by the villain, the cops can race to the rescue before the hero has traveled a mile on his bike.

Does Looney have the hots for Will?  I still can’t believe how stupid Bill is being.

I loved Brooke smacking that smug asshole across his judgmental frowning face. She could have gone in harder on him but she kept it classy and simply told the moron to enjoy his second choice. The little shove of Taylor was great too.

I think today's episode showed that despite the generally awful writing, the writer's are purposely writing the Tridge Mafia as hypocritical to the point of total delusion. Nothing Ridge, Taylor, and Steffy say can be backed up by anything that happened onscreen,  and Ridge couldn't say a word when Brooke called him out.

Dayum…why do I feel like the best episode of the year already happened on January 6?

• Brooke bitchslapped her hobo in spectacular fashion.

• Brooke cut him down prior to the bitchslap for the way he speaks about Hope. I wish she would’ve gotten in a Steffy dig, but she still did good.

• Brooke told the hobo she’s over it, I’m praying she meant it.

• Brooke shoulder-knocked boring Taylor (Taylor is boring, but I still love RB) on her way out.

I’m not even a huge Brooke fan, but I’m all in for this version of Brooke.

Does the ability to get a 20-something confessed serial killer outta prison & keep her prisoner in your home, for possibly (or likely?) sinister reasons, make you a badass?  Guess it does, according to the writers . . .

Welp, at least Brooke woke up to what an a-hole Ridge is.  Finally.  Took her 40 years!  She shoulda kicked him in the nuts.  And I mean a really good, hard Batgirl kick.  The “second choice” crack was pretty good & even more on the money cuz she was a shiny brown dishrag today.

Well, we had a sort-of break last week when we didn't see the Fauxresters for a couple of days straight. That said, we were instead treated to a couple of days of CBS's version of "The More You Know..." filled with patented Bell repetitive dialogue regarding deep-fake AI nudes. Really, how do these people actually think that they are putting out entertainment. They are putting out content, but is insulting to the intelligence of the audience. Today's "Slap From the Valley" was a small island of delight in an otherwise ridiculous series of events. I am waiting now for Zende to have an opportunity to tell the Fauxresters that Brooke told him from the jump that Brooke had their best interests in mind in taking the CEO position, but that he will chicken out or be talked over so it doesn't happen. Not that it makes a difference at this point. Bring on Red-Suit Brooke and end Bridge for at least the next few years. Let's see some creativity. Finding the 10,000th way to play the same dynamic is not creative, and not what the audience wants to see.

Also, where the heck is RJ, and why isn't he ripping his father a new one? That would make the character interesting. Ugh.

I just wish Brooke could have gone all Beth Dutton on his arse.  As hard as she slapped him it still didn't wipe his  greasy smirk off his face.  Maybe the greasy slime made her hand slip too much.

Give him 24 hours to pick up all his stuff in garbage bags off your doorstep before you donate it to good will or the nearest homeless  encampment.

Last but not least whatever formula she developed and then signed her rights away to Forrester should be given back to her and she can then start charging for.  If they don't want to pay it sell it to competitors.

Ridge you are the most hypocritical self righteous fucktard.  Hope broke Thomas’ heard because she wouldn’t marry him knowing she was not ready. Are you married to Brooke as of this moment?  Are you making plans to marry her or do you like the current situation.  Hope kissed Finn once and Carter was a result of finally realizing they had an attraction.  Ridge runs to Taylor in the blink of an eye but that’s perfectly acceptable.

Did Brooke finally grow a backbone?  Only time will tell. Loved the “hip check” Brooke gave Taylor as she walked out.

There was a news break so I was unable to see if Will and Electra just walk into Bill’s house or did they knock so Luna could hide?  If find Luna is very good with facial expressions.  I really couldn’t tell what Luna was thinking as she was observing Electra and Will.

Man, it pleased my heart to see Brooke read the fuck out of Ridge. And he has nerve to blame Hope for Thomas as if he isn't responsible for raising that weirdo stalker. On a better show, I would believe that this would be a big change for Brooke. After all, how can I come back to you when you have pretty much confirmed that you believe me and my family to be inferior to yours? But we know how Bell operates. In 5 months, Brooke will forget all of this and be reconciled with Ridge. Sigh. But I will take whatever crumbs they give for now.

Her slapping him was so satisfying, followed by her tossing Taylor aside as if she is nothing because, well, that's exactly what she is, a nothing character who is trotted out as a Bridge spoiler every few years.

That was so fucking satisfying.  The slap. That shove of the dishrag. Perfect.

Listening to those two assholes going on and on like their shit doesn't stink, however, was so annoying. Taylor and Steffy really have no self-awareness, do they? Steffy is just way too involved in mommy and daddy's love life. It's creepy.

Luna is definitely going to set her sights on Will. You could see those gears turning in her head while she was watching them.

I don't know why this stood out so much to me, but during the Bill/Will/Electra scenes, all I could think about was how awkward it was that they were all standing there like that.  A guy brings his girlfriend home to meet his dad, they're in the living room talking, and they're all just standing there, the two of them practically up against a wall, while he stands in the middle of the room?  Sit on the damn couch. It was distracting how awkward the staging was.

I hope Brooke sticks to this. I loved her saying that she wishes she had never set foot in that house and met him. You know that part was a direct hit to his ego. He needs his two hangers on always wanting him. He can accept Brooke being mad that he's waffling over to Taylor this time, but he needs to know that, every moment he's with Taylor, Brooke is pining away for him, waiting for him to waffle back over to her.

Ridge "you should have talked to me first, like we always talk about everything."  Oh, really?  Really? You mean like when you thought Brooke made the CPS call, and you went right to her to talk about it? Oh, wait, that's right, you didn't do that. You threw out some vague accusations, which made no sense to her because she didn't do anything, and then you got hit on the head with a pinecone and went Pepe Le Pewing it through Aspen after Taylor. So fuck all the way off with that bullshit.

The whole Tridge Mafia have the same personality(hypocritical snob),and it's as rotten as anyone could imagine. Honestly, the best thing for everyone, is for the Tridge Mafia to all move into Steffy's, and stay away from everyone else. They can spend all their days and nights telling each other how perfect they are, and blaming the Logan's for everything from the California wildfires, to earthquakes.

Better Will than Bill.

As contrived as this shit is, I feel like this is--for once--Bell giving fans what we want by keeping her around rather than booting her after she finally got interesting. The show needs a fun psycho and since Sheila has apparently mellowed out, she can take her place IMO. Bonus points for building up the next generation of teens, which is very much needed.

I did not see that coming. I think I have watched that ending about ten times because as @KerleyQ said, that was so very satisfying.

As usual Ridge did not know when to shut his big mouth and this time he went a step too far. The remark that sticks out for me was after Brooke said that he needed two women to stroke his ego, and he responded that he only needed one that was completely devoted to him and no one else. HA! This coming from the father that has mollycoddled his two brats for years, effectively hand waving away all their horribleness. So, it is ok for him to support and love his kids, but Brooke can't? Yeah, MF'er you can step lively away with that nonsense.

Now Brooke OTOH was letting stingers fly like a nest of hornets. I squeed when she turned Ridge's words back on him and reminded him that he turned to Taylor in "break neck speed." I also enjoyed Brooke reminding Ridge that she is his family, best of all though, was when Brooke said she wished she had never set foot in that house. Man, that was saying a lot. And her parting shove of that limp, brown, dishrag was positively epic, so much better than Steffy's petulant shoulder slam of Hope a few weeks ago. But that is how it is with Brooke; it takes a lot to get her to the point of physical violence, but once she is there, she is no holds barred.

I am sure Ridge will rush to Taylor's aid, I mean, Brooke may have exacerbated Taylor's BHS.

I know it won't last, but I am going to enjoy the ride regardless.

How exactly is Daphne The Teenage Witch going to get the company back for the Fauxesters? Will her perfume pheromones make Carter sign the company over? This seems be Steffy trying to break up Cope out of general pettiness(which is certainly on brand for Paternity Test Patty), rather than a solid plan to regain the company.

The hottest lady in French fragrance shows up at Forrester, whips her scarf around and Carter isn’t smart enough to question her showing up? He and Hope aren’t as nauseating as Ridge and Steffy but they’re pretty close. Where the hell is Brooke their new CEO?  At least she could be the grown up in these situations.
How long is Luna’s sentence? I’m assuming since she killed two men it’s pretty long. The court decided upon Bills request to entrust a 60 year old bachelor with carrying out her house arrest?  I think it’s good that Luna is out but couldn’t there have been a more believable way?

Oh it was soooooo satisfying to see Brooke give that smack down to Pod!Ridge! And especially the line about how she wished she’d never stepped into that house. And all his bloviating about how she wasn’t loyal to his rancid ass?! Like she was supposed to choose him over her OWN daughter?! Though I wish she hadn’t said that she was his family. UGH.

There is NOTHING  in Thorsten Kaye that makes me believe he’s Ridge. He lacks Ron Moss’s sexuality, sophistication, and charm.

And oh how sublime to see Brooke shove this version of someone who is supposed to be Taylor.

I accidentally clicked on today’s show and watched Eric, Pod!Ridge, and the two heifers trash talk Brooke, and all I could think was that ERIC needs to take several GAZILLION SEATS. Then I switched to yesterday’s show.

I just wish that Brooke’s slap had been like the one that Robin gave Cujo in 2005! That Brooke slap was weak sauce!

Daphne, the nose, here to help or sent by yet another unknown to sabotage Hope and Carter?

I’ve should have known, Stuffy is the turd in the punch bowl who sent Daphne to FC.  Separating Hope and Carter is also on Daphne agenda.

Hope and Carter are to stupid, by being caught up in their bliss, to not even really question why Daphne wants to help them.

Can Stuffy please loose for once?  Being mean to Hope “gets Stuffy off” more than Finn could ever be able to do.

All the sniffing was obnoxious.

I'm going to laugh when Steffy's plot ends up freeing Hope to go after Finn again, especially when it happens right as he and Steffy are having problems because they just found out Luna is his daughter. Ideally, Daphne ends up legitimately falling for Carter, too, so Steffy's whole plan just blows up on her.

That cabal of hypocrites sitting around talking about Carter being a hypocrite was pretty fucking rich. If Carter and Hope do take Steffy back at FC, I hope they stuff her back in the mail room and keep her on a tight leash where, if she even looks at Hope, Carter, or Brooke wrong, she's fired. Even better if a newly empowered and over the bullshit Brooke just flat out turns down Steffy's attempt to return.

Greenlee: "Steffy's right." Yeah, the entire problem with your hellspawn is that you've spent her entire fucking life saying that.

The show  keeps getting  dumber and  dumber.  Are they deliberately trying to  sabotage it?

OMG! The actress playing Daphne was awful! It was like she was playing a terrible caricature of a French woman. I thought it was a spoof at first. And yes! How stupid are Hope and Carter? At least Hope had the wherewithal to question the lack of samples.

I don't want to know what Steffy's grand plan is because I am sick and tired of her always winning. I want for Carter, Hope, and Brooke to succeed in transforming FC into an international luxury brand and then hand Eric, Steffy, Ridge, and dishrag gold-plated spoons to eat their humble pie.

Yes! Brooke's weak sauce slap didn't even leave a red mark on Sludge's face. Then, of course, he had to run and whine about it to Steffy and Eric. Boo hoo.

Sorry, but Grubby whining about being slapped & Dishrag shocked (yes, shocked!) at being shoved gave me a giggle.

Sheesh, the French perfume lady wasn’t exactly a bundle of laughs & fun, was she?  What a drip!  And what a dopey, ridiculous stereotype of how Americans supposedly think French women behave.  So dumb.  And she’s gonna be the sexpot to tempt Carter away from Hope?  I’m losing brain cells from this silliness.

i have nothing against the actress playing Luna.  And yeah, they could use a young character to cause trouble & spice things up.  But the writers stupidly backed themselves into something they can’t get out of.  She murdered 2 people without any guilt whatsoever.  She should be rotting in prison.  And her saying a zillion times how she’s changed doesn’t change her being a murderer.  Her scenes now  are really irritating cuz her presence outside of prison makes NO SENSE. Gah!!!

Now I always put on mute, those predictable/repetitive scenes with the four noodniks (Dishrag, Grubby, Hunter Tylo Wig & the barely able to stand or speak Eric).  As much as I can’t stand Steffy & her usual unpleasant nastiness, if Carter & Hope are dumb enough to be taken in by such an idiotic scheme, they deserve to be.

And Brooke is now regretting the slap?  No, Brooke, NOOOOO!  Like I said before, go back there and kick him hard in the nuts & shove Dishrag even harder till ya face-plant her to the floor.  Do it now, Brooke — and with zero regrets!  And send that grim, awful French dame packin’!

Lifelong addictions are hard to break. She needs a support group to keep reminding her that Ridge is trash. Maybe a video montage of some of his "greatest hits" would help? Insulting her daughter, having tantrums and running to his number 1 rebound, blaming her daughter for his son being a psychopath, just being an all around jackass.
