Primetimer November 12, 2015 Share November 12, 2015 Even though it's a teen show, this time it's the adults who face the terrifying consequences of unprotected sex. Read the story Link to comment

The Crazed Spruce November 12, 2015 Share November 12, 2015 Surely the ring's not that bad... *goes to visual aids* GAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH! KILL IT! KILL IT WITH FIRE!!! 5 Link to comment
SoupThrower November 12, 2015 Share November 12, 2015 Mel was so awesome till they butchered his character. Andrea looked more like Nat's friend than Brandon's and Steve's friend. David for the youngest seems like the smartest. 2 Link to comment
Qoass November 12, 2015 Share November 12, 2015 Or a younger version of The Golden Girls. Link to comment
Halo November 12, 2015 Share November 12, 2015 Ann Gillespie really is gorgeous enough to withstand the horrors of this show's wardrobe. She's my MVP, too. 1 Link to comment
Hollysdower November 12, 2015 Share November 12, 2015 Yeah, but does Mel know that Jackie knows that Kelly knows that David knows that Donna knows that Brenda knows that Kelly knows he knows she knows? Gotta fault Mel for twice being inappropriate with teenagers about his adult relationship: He tells Kelly to talk some sense into her mother, and he calls David into his office to commiserate about his break-up. Mel, you gotta handle your own issues. I know about the rabbit test, but I'm 42. *cries* One Ring to fool them all One Ring to shine them One Ring to beguile them all And in the darkness, blind them Link to comment

cassandle November 12, 2015 Share November 12, 2015 I learned about the rabbit thing from reruns of Dick Van Dyke when Laura told him she was pregnant by saying the rabbit died. So I knew about the reference since I was a kid but I was very confused about how the rabbit was involved for years. Link to comment
John Ramos November 12, 2015 Share November 12, 2015 I honestly don't even understand what I'm seeing with that ring. Like, its physical shape. Can anyone explain? Link to comment
lottiedottie November 12, 2015 Share November 12, 2015 I honestly don't even understand what I'm seeing with that ring. Like, its physical shape. Can anyone explain? I was going to try but then I realized I can't. There aren't words to explain it. 1 Link to comment
Jmallory November 13, 2015 Share November 13, 2015 That ring was... Did Mel actually pull that out of someone's mouth? 2 Link to comment
gpgurl50 November 13, 2015 Share November 13, 2015 I learned about the rabbit thing from reruns of Dick Van Dyke when Laura told him she was pregnant by saying the rabbit died. So I knew about the reference since I was a kid but I was very confused about how the rabbit was involved for years. I also learned about the rabbit test from reruns. Then my mom explained it to me, I think. I thought it was a weird too that after talking about getting abortion, Kelly went into her thing about having a younger sibling. It felt like there should've been more of a transition. Link to comment

StatMom November 13, 2015 Share November 13, 2015 Wow, that ring is SO much worse than I imagined. I figured a big 90s setting with a marquise shaped stone or some such. But this? Is an abomination of design. 1 Link to comment
Tooch November 13, 2015 Share November 13, 2015 My poor parents gave me a gold ring for my high school graduation (in the 90s of course) that was a similar sort of abomination, just without the diamond. Like a thick, gold curved swirl with grooves in it. This thing was awful but I was 17 and they were so happy to give it to me and I was just like "greeeeat". I still have it and have contemplated selling it at one of those "sell your old gold jewelry" parties people throw. I'm now having traumatic flashbacks. Barf. Link to comment
Princess Sparkle November 13, 2015 Share November 13, 2015 Sarah's "SHITBAG" outburst was the best. I started laughing so hard at that and the crack about him being jockey-sized, that I had to rewind an entire minute of the podcast, because I missed what everyone was saying. Link to comment
marny November 13, 2015 Share November 13, 2015 I'd reject that proposal just based on that ring. That band is just... Cruel and unusual. Was the ring foreshadowing that their marriage was doomed (as we know it ultimately was)? Link to comment
sinkwriter November 13, 2015 Share November 13, 2015 I have never heard of that rabbit test. The only dead rabbit thing I was familiar with was the boiled bunny in Fatal Attraction. Link to comment
Panda Bear November 13, 2015 Share November 13, 2015 Dylan's lascivious look didn't surprise me, thanks to this bit of gossip from a few years ago: http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/carol-potter-had-a-flirtation-with-beverly-hills-90210-costar-luke-perry-201385 1 Link to comment
MuuMuuChainsmoker November 14, 2015 Share November 14, 2015 The band on that ring looks like a tiny golden walnut. Or possibly a gold turban. So maybe Jackie is a big fan of mixed nuts and sideshow mesmerists? Link to comment
FozzyBear November 14, 2015 Share November 14, 2015 (edited) Man, wait 'til S02E24. There Will Be Blood I actually got curious and went to IMDB to look up s2ep24. Oh man. I'm getting angry just thinking about it. Shitbag, indeed! Edited November 15, 2015 by FozzyBear 1 Link to comment
kfree9 November 14, 2015 Share November 14, 2015 I hope I don't get in trouble for posting this here (wasn't sure where to!)--but can someone recommend a free app for Androids to listen to the "Again with This" podcasts? I normally listen straight from the page, but my phone has been a pain lately doing it that way. Link to comment
Racj82 November 15, 2015 Share November 15, 2015 Man, wait 'til S02E24. There Will Be Blood Oh boy. Every weekend I watch the episodes up for the next week on the podcast but Hulu doesn't have ep. 23 so I watched episode 23. Holy Shit. Brandon should have been legit punched in his face at least 30 times that episode. Next level Bray going. Damn, I don't think it can get worse than this. Link to comment
MissEwa November 15, 2015 Share November 15, 2015 Man, wait 'til S02E24. There Will Be Blood Oh god. Even the 13-year-old Brandon apologist that I was back then hated this one. I looking forward to your hearing your head explode, Sarah. Link to comment
finnle November 16, 2015 Share November 16, 2015 Mel let David design it. David took his Star Trek shirt to the jeweler sand told them to use it for inspiration. Link to comment
STOPSHOUTING November 20, 2015 Share November 20, 2015 (edited) The words (ok, one's a sound) "Brian Austin Green" and "rrrowr" should never, EVER be used in the same sentence. If you need a reminder why not see this picture, where he's very proud of how he looks, mind you (it was a Tiger Beat poster for the tasteless, apparently) ... Or, perhaps, for those who attempt to insist he improved with age, this head shot that I'm pretty sure is advertising his appearance in an Orlando-area dinner theatre production of the King and I (I mean, he's wearing an ascot, y'all) ... Not OK. Not OK at all. Edited November 20, 2015 by STOPSHOUTING Link to comment
STOPSHOUTING November 20, 2015 Share November 20, 2015 I learned about the rabbit thing from reruns of Dick Van Dyke when Laura told him she was pregnant by saying the rabbit died. So I knew about the reference since I was a kid but I was very confused about how the rabbit was involved for years. In second grade we had a teacher who told this to her class ("the rabbit died") and then sent us on an all-day investigation to see who could figure out what it meant first. As a gentle, animal-loving, only child, I was horrified on every level. Link to comment
Stephsco December 9, 2015 Share December 9, 2015 I'm catching up. This one was particularly funny to listen to. Gems: Brandon equine-splaining, Andrea "thrilled to be out with the boys on Mother's Day," it being the era of XXL T-shirts and bike shorts, and the whole secret baby things. I laughed so much. God what an awful show that I now can't wait to hear you all make fun of! I must have just missed the window of knowing rabbit died thing. That's ... weird. Link to comment

purist December 17, 2015 Share December 17, 2015 Yeah, nah, I've never heard of the 'dead rabbit' thing either. I'm in Australia - perhaps it's just a US thing? Link to comment
