Homegirl is totally checked out. She isn't even faking it anymore. She scoffs at the idea of helping her sister wives care for their children and she doesn't even attend family gatherings. I think it was made apparent that she and Kody don't have a very good relationship. Why doesn't she just leave? Is she under some sort of contract?

I have been asking that question for a couple years. Maybe she stays around to make everyone else miserable.

I am wondering if maybe she IS going to leave.  They showed previews for next week - Kody discusses how he and Meri's feelings towards each other are like a divorced couple's feeling... well... DUH... they ARE divorced... but technically it was only so that Robyn could have her way and be the #1 wife   the kids could actually take Kody's last name and all that malarky - which suggested they should still have "married" feelings. When you combine Kody's upcoming discussion with Meri's comments about not watching the other wives' children any longer and with her missing Garrison coming home, with her being gone all of the time... I am wondering if Caleb and Maddie came back to add interest to the show so that Meri could exit stage left... go to her grandmama's house and live happily ever after there.

What a piece of work she is. I believe she stays for the attention and the paycheck. What would she be without the cameras and some people writing in to tell her how awful Kody is to her? Professional victim that has been enabled throughout her adult life. (and most likely growing up as well)

There was a quick clip of Christine calling out Meri for wanting yet another big house for herself, and that is the bottom line.

Back to Janelle's house...Kody is talking about making changes to the house so they can accommodate Maddie Caleb and baby. Janelle is concerned about the "game room' and her sons room that is sin the military and not there. (name escapes)

Yet there is a house next door, Huge. and no one mentions having the newlyweds stay there. Speaks Volumes about Meri, and how much people want to be around her....and Meri is probably not there that often.

 

Can you imagine how symbolic that house might be to the SisterWives, especially at first of the month as they look at their finances.

So, Meri to me is one of the most selfish, self absorbed, narcissistic, perpetual victims I have seen in a long time.

Eagerly awaiting this Sunday's episode when this snippet will be expanded on and we get the full picture.  If this is as it appears, Meri had some audacity to ask the others to be involved financially but I wonder if this was her sly way of extracting her equity from the LV home.

It's the poncho--and of all LLR clothing items, some of these are kinda pretty. What I would hope is that, for $75, it better be made from some super-soft wool/cotton blend, not yarn made from polyester that will burst into flames if you get too close to a candle. Try as I might, I could not find what it's made from or a fabric tag for this pricey item. 

I did read some wearers said it was not warm at all. One wearer from Texas stated it was ideal for around 50 degrees, anything below that is insufficient.

It's just a fashion statement for fall, and an expensive one at that.

That is the weirdest, most fun grocery store!  I had to go back for a couple more pairs.  I am going back today even though I shouldn't.  They have these frozen donut holes that are to die for.  Mr. Natalie knows better than to try and take them.  Although he IS welcome to wear my leggings if he would like.  HA!

LuLaRoe is WAY too expensive for lounge clothes.  These GO leggings also have not ripped.  Wonder what Meri will sell next?  What's the up and coming MLM scheme?

When she has her talking head segments, all I can look at is her barely hidden smirks, and how...unattractive...she is. If she couldn't help it, I wouldn't bring it up, but something is not working for her between the hair, eyebrows, and eye makeup. I don't know much about Vegas, but it seems like she should have the resources around her to advise her on hair and makeup.

Oy. Yeah, completely agree here. The bad tanning, bad makeup, poorly maintained hair with a terrible cut that does not compliment her, the weirdness with her eyebrows and - for me - that huge dimple in her chin. Christ Almighty! You could just about mine for .... something in that thing! I was going to say "gold", but that's not right. Iron? Coal? Bauxite? Uranium? Whatever it is, you could open pit mine for it. That's for sure.

It's from doing a combination of actual tanning and spray tanning. My wife has two cousins who do this and we refer to them as Oompa Loompas because that's what they remind us of.

I have always suspected that Meri started the orange skin thing after seeing herself on camera after Season 1.  Like many of us, she has pale skin, but when she would sit on the couch sessions and in some of the talking heads (especially when she is talking about emotional things) she has this thing that happens to the lower part of her face and her neck.  It gets covered in bright red blotches.  It's like her skin is fine, then they go in for a close up for emphasis of the emotion etc and wow....red blotches that are very noticeable against pale skin.  There have been a few times since she went orange that you can see the blotches, but you really have to look close and they don't stand out as much as before the orange skin started.

Also, in social media photos etc, she tends to look less orange.  I think she ups the orange during filming for this reason.  No proof etc, just an observation and my own opinion.

I live in Vegas so I'll fill in gap.  There are hair dressers (good ones) on every block.  Same with stylists.  I'm sure that TLC could help her with that too.  I'm pretty sure she does her own makeup for the show. 

Maybe TLC has the same opinion of Meri that we do and they don't say anything about the Oopma Loompa makeup.  There is probably a lot of eye rolling behind the camera.
