Leon Brown: So Here's Me

Pallas
Message added by Scarlett45,

Leon is transgender and uses they/them pronouns. As defined in the GLAAD guidelines, they are a they, were a they, and will be a they unless they ever tell us something different.  Per those guidelines, referring to them as a woman or a girl or as she is not okay, regardless of any modifier placed before these words or the time period being discussed.  Referring to them by any name besides "Leon" or "Leo" is not appropriate, regardless of the time period being discussed. Intent matters and people may slip up. Let's strive to respect their identity.

I don't know why Mariah and Janelle have not yet teamed up and produced a yoga video series, since they're both sooooo into yoga and fitness and what not, and apparently neither of them has anything better to do.

Yet, neither of them appear "fit" for their efforts. Perfect Brown business idea!

And again, nothing about studying, taking tests, her progress on her graduate degree.  So has mom sold her life away on crappy clothes so you can espouse this crap endlessly?  Not that I fill badly that mom is supposedly traveling the world selling clothes that thrift stores are full of for cheap, at least from what I read.

Oh yeah, deep thoughts to keep the followers full of wonder for her awesomeness.  Bleh.

Yoga classes aren't cheap, even online a good instructor charges at least $20 a month.  And Soulcycle is roughly $35-40 per session.  Selling LuLaNo must pay well.

hhh...everyone - can't you see that Mariah is thinking??  Behold the thinker's pose!  She's got her eyes cast downward, contemplating the sidewalk upon which she treads towards her uncertain future and thinking about where she will get her next serious cup of coffee, and also where she put her emotional support dog.  The hand in the hair signifies the momentousness of this occasion of the serious thinks.  The black shirt tells us that she's serious, but the flannel shows us that she can also be hip while thinking seriously.  And the STOP sign behind her is indicative of the fact that we, too, must also STOP and think about what Mariah is thinking about.  Think about that!

Perfection! I think this is exactly what she is trying to portray!

Can't you just imagine the directions from Audge?

"Now look serious!  Now look happy!  Look up, look down. smile, frown! Open the shirt!  Hand on your chin, your hair, your coffee cup!  Beautiful, perfect, gorgeous!"

Gag.

So when Audge joined up with Snowflake, I wonder if she knew she'd end up having to follow her all over Chicago, constantly on the lookout for that next deep photo?  Don't these two have homework or something?

And I tend to think the other way around, with Mariah demanding shot after shot from Audge, all the while deeming the photos not deep enough, or artsy, or whatever stupid mood it is she's trying to capture.

You'd certainly think Princess would.  She's supposed to be in school, after all.  We never hear a word about anything scholarly at all.

As far as girlfriend, isn't there some question as to what she is or does?  Just a hanger-on to the TLC gravy train?

Audge apparently is a Lulano retailer and perhaps she is expected to be the breadwinner and support their lifestyle.  More than likely, Meri is so anxious to maintain the tenuous ties that she has with Mariah, that she is willing to support Audge as well as Mariah and their Emotional Support Animals.

She did have one artsy shot of her reading glasses next to her laptop and French press.  That is supposed to represent "studying" and enough to last you for the whole term.

Here's a news flash, Princess, it sounds stupid.

It also sounds like Janelle could have written it.

Didn't Princess #chitown check the local weather before moving there?  Millions of Chicaogoans manage to live through winter without resorting to drugs.  Get over yourself,  you are way too young for that kind of crap.  Talk to me when you've done 50 more long, cold winters.

I don't understand why a 20 something healthy snowflake would have physical pain.   Chicago is known for its winters.  The cold winds blowing off the lake are legendary. #schoolsmartbutnotlifesmart #Waituntilshesinher60s

I don't think she has any pain to soothe; I think she's just quoting the marketing.  No need to actually use the stuff if you do that.

And the last time I priced CBD stuff, it was damn expensive.  How she affords that as well as living in Chicago while a grad student boggles my mind.

I mean, I know she's not paying for it, but still.

My MD mentioned it. A 30 day supply was $96. The medication for the same thing was $7. I think CBD is a current fad although I know someone with Multiple Myeloma who swears by it.

I might suggest it for my mom, for whom anti-depressants don't seem to work, but I love my generic Lexapro.  Love it.  And it's also about $7 a month.

This statement of Mariah’s regarding THC, is not true. She really is an ignorant one.

mariahbrwn

@abbyarf there is no THC in CBD (they can be found together but are completely different things). I can’t recommend about your pain meds since I’m not a medical professional but I’ve heard stories of people with chronic pain finding lots of relief from CBD. I believe it can help with withdrawals. I would check out

(Bolding is mine) This kind of thing pisses me off. I have a chronic pain disorder and my doctor has never recommended this.

You've "heard stories", Mariah? Well then it must be true, that sounds like a reliable source of info. She's heard stories!

A few years ago I had a boyfriend who hounded me incessantly about Plexus, this shake that he thought would cure his diabetes, and my chronic pain disorder. I told him many times, no pyramid scheme shake cures diabetes, fibromyalgia, migraines, etc. "But look at this testimonial they emailed me!" Yeah, this person is trying to SELL IT!!! A person who wants to make a sale is going to tell you it's great for everything, duh! I asked him politely to stop bothering me about this crap, I told him I'm under the care of a good doctor, until I hear from him that a miracle cure has been found, I will not believe it, so stop pressuring me. He wouldn't quit. That shit was somewhere around $85 a month. I dumped his ass because I have a low tolerance for stupid (and the stupidity was not just on this issue, it was LOTS of issues!). I've since read that Plexus not only doesn't work, but causes some dangerous side effects.

So, no thank you, Mariah, unless I hear it from a doctor, I don't believe it.

My doc in the town I used to live in was great too, and he told me when I was diagnosed, there are going to be a lot of charlatans who will promise you they can relieve your pain. The only thing that will happen is you'll lose a lot of money, don't fall for it. Unless you hear it from a doctor, don't buy into the hype of the latest fad.

Well meaning friends and relatives give me a lot of advice....after awhile it gets hard to stomach. One told me they'd heard dairy was the cure-all and I should drink more milk. Yes, milk is the answer! And yet somehow my doctor has never heard of that, what an idiot he must be!

I learned the "Thank you but I'm under the care of a good doctor" answer from a friend who has RA. She had a relative tell her she just needed to eat more Jello. How did the Mayo clinic miss that one????

I will tell you that I tried CBD for pain relief due to a bad back while I was going through lots of tests.  Oral CBD did nothing, but I did sometimes get relief from the cream being massaged in.  However, it might have just been in my mind.  I’ve since been told they need to do yet another spinal surgery.

Long way of saying that it may or may not work, but I sure as hell am not online giving medical advice about it.  It IS super expensive.   I had asked my dr about it before trying it and he said there is no way to know as it hasn’t been tested by FDA at all.   Just not enough valid/proven studies out there.

Gosh, yes, I'm sure that you can find all kinds of testimonials from your go-to scientific sites like Twitter and Facebook.  "I've heard stories" indeed.  What kind of moron asks this Z list "celebrity"( with no medical background) for advice on pain management.

Give us some peer-reviewed studies and then we'll talk.  Otherwise, as has been strongly and repeatedly suggested, STFU.

I went back to see if she had more pearls of wisdom (I left out the person’s name)

______@mariahbrwn hey girl, I’m lookin into get the CBD oil. I’m curious what it feels like. I know pot makes me super paranoid. I’ve heard it’s nothing like it. Can you please describe exactly what it feels like , if anything. Or, do you just notice that life if happier and better without that pot feeling. Thanks

mariahbrwn

@______ hi! Yes, it’s completely different. It doesn’t get you high at all, since it’s not psychoactive meaning that it’s not going to change anything as far as how your brain feels, if that makes sense. I genuinely just feel calmer and like I have a more clear mind. I hope that makes sense and I answered what you were asking! Haha

This one one is a winner:

mariahbrwn honestly @nutracanna ‘s doesn’t taste like anything to me! It’s technically peppermint flavored but I could only barely taste that. Just put the dropper at the back of my throat!

So if it’s not going to change anything as far as your brain feels, how does it make you feel calmer and have a clearer mind, Mariah?

What happened to the green stuff your Dad was shilling, Mariah? I thought that was the answer to good health.

Or whatever stuff Robyn was getting thru an IV in Vegas...the thing that "makes you feel like is ok again!" Was that not the answer, either?

What about Janelle's Strive advice? Molasses, millet, all of those "nutritional rock stars" she's always talking about?

Damn near every member of the family shills for some miracle product that is the answer. How much shit do I have to buy to be as "healthy" as this family?

I would not trust anything the Brown Clowns say will help this, cure that, fix whatever, look good, etc.  I especially would never take their word that anything they are trying to sell, will work.  As my cousin used to say (we're old) the Browns are as full of shit as a Christmas goose.  "Oh, but I read about it on the internet" is not proof of anything, so stop shilling, most especially with medical advice.

Except her sycophants probably take her word as gospel since she's supposedly working on a masters in social work.  They are so stupid they don't know the difference.  And supposedly is the operative word since we've seen absolutely no evidence she's actually in school.

Is there any audit of student loans to ensure the faker student is actually attending classes?  Or are our tax dollars being spent on coffee, avocado toast, and curative remedies?
