Where did Nina get oxytocin?

She filched a prescription pad from Auntie Liesl's desk, inferring that Mommy dearest could forge a prescription for her.

Loved the way DM says "KIKI" with disdain.

I wonder what Grandmama's reaction will be if/when Kiki is revealed to be Coma!Baby.

If Kiki is Coma!Baby (which...please gawd, nooooooooooooooooooo!), wouldn't Magda have had to have known from the start?

But yes, her scorn for the Keekster's name definitely scored Magda some points with me.  I guess she and Kiki aren't friiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiends.

I am embarrassed for Michelle Stafford. And where the hell are Nina and Mags hanging out anyway. That's not Maxie's apartment. And where did they get the car that Mags keeps driving past that brownstone place?

Yakety yak Shawn, just pull the damn trigger. Though even if he was not incompetent we know he will not pull off this hit successfully, so there is no tension or suspense.

I cannot stand the way Michelle Stafford is playing this. I feel like throwing holy water at my screen every time she appears.

If Ron C. thought he could get away with Nina being possessed by the devil, then he would do it.  The man loves camp and doesn't have an original idea left in his head.

Does anyone do recaps? My CC has been messed up (I'm deaf) on this show for the last couple of days and while that's normally no biggie, I missed Anna's burn to Sonny and then whatever Morgan said.  Anyone?

Sonny and Shawn were discussing the hit on Franco. Anna walks in like a Boss. (Shawn was at Kelly's, Sonny was at Casa De Gross) Sonny yells for Mateo and wonders why Hayley Chandler's ex husband hasn't announced Anna's arrival because this is now Castle De Gross. Anna says no, you're little court jester is in my cruiser for unpaid parking tickets, and illegaly parked car, and resisting arrest. Sonny goes do we have an appointment? Anna says besides the long standing appointment for your arrest? No. Sonny says but I'm a humble coffee guy. He offers Anna coffee. She declines. She asks him about a murder. He's like whaaaaa? Then he says but I'm innocent. He's as convincing as Jodi Arias. Anna calls him out on getting away with murder for around 20 years. Then says she knows he's after Ava. He asks whomever could be spreading such lies. Anna does her job and does not reveal a confidential source. She also says she needs to speak to Ava since well she knows Sonny has a great relationship with his sons he must know that Micheal has asked her to reopen AJ's murder. He believes Ava did it. She also asks Sonny on a personal note how it works when he gets all his children and various mothers of his kids together. That she knows he prides himself on treating them with respect. Except for Ava. Sh flat out says that she knows Sonny will have her killed as soon as the umbilical cord is cut. Sonny says you have nothing on me. Anna promises to return with warrant for his arrest.

As soon as she leaves, Morgan arrives (he's promised Ava he'd handle his dad). He looks hot and pissed. He tells Sonny that they need to talk. End scene.

Good God.

The Stafford was at her screechiest worst today.  Good Lord I hate that woman.  Or, as she would say, GOOD LORD I HATE THAT WOMAN GOOD LORD I HATE THAT WOMAN.  When she learned about "range" in acting class I guess all she heard was SCREAM LOUDER.

And Kiki.  Franco,  Mumbles the Moobster.  Shawn.

Finola Hughes must put on waders to step through all that muck.

Is the housing shortage so severe in PC, that Nina and Mags are now living in Dr.O's office?

[spoken in the Nina's tiny sex kitten whisper voice] No they're just hiding so that the Nina isn't hauled off to the proper place to lock up crazy asses such as hers [/spoken in the Nina's tiny sex kitten whisper voice].

At least it isn't the park, it has four walls, a roof and an actual floor.

I hope that I am not the only one who is waiting for the Franco reveal. It can't happen too soon for me.

I'll be happy it's finally over because I am pretty sure it'll only get worse from here on out and I am sick of everything just dragging on and on. If only the SERIAL KILLER could reveal all at the godforsaken wedding.

He could expose Carly and Sonny, tell everyone Ava murdered Connie but who really cares, that the Nina has been hunting Ava to steal her baby, that Jakson is really Jason, that notLuke is notLuke and if he could go ahead and spit out whatever the hell secret Rosalie has as well would be fine also.

Loved the way DM says "KIKI" with disdain.

She knows she's saying it for all of us.

"If you're saying I got the best of you, Dad, and Jason, I'd say that's a lot." Oh, Michael. That doesn't add up to anything.

It's actually an insult.

It's coming upon winter in PC.

I'm worried about Julian. Will he at least be allowed to light a fire to warm his park house? And ugh, I bet carrollers and townsfolk will put unsolicited decorations in his home. That's so rude.

You guys, what about Julian? !

He can live in the nativity. Keep watch over baby Jesus.

Nina's hair looked good and the colour of her shirt was nice with her skin tone.

But anytime so much Corinthos DNA is gathered together nothing good could come of it.

Well, now, that's not entirely true.  I mean, the roof could fall in on them (right after Dante gets called away from dinner for some PCPD emergency).

Maurice can drop a one liner and actually seem engaged and like an actor every now and again, heh, and I liked that part too.

The idea of Sonny gathering together a cluster of his children and their mothers for a holiday dinner would be perfect chaos.

Scenes like this just make wish they would play Sonny as just out and out bad, not evil necessarily but bad, Sonny dealing with a competent Police Commissioner and losing on occasion would make the character work. Should Sonny go to prison? Yes. Does he have to make this work? No. Sonny could manipulate the system, frame other people, cut deals with judges, get a lackey to take the rap, there are always ways for powerful mobsters to stay out of jail. But the pCPD needs to win some and more importantly Sonny needs to look bad. Trying to make Fluke or the Z's or the Balkan or whoever "Badder" Bad guys and Sonny and company heroes is what is killing this show.

Sonny as a smug arrogant corrupt businessman works. Lunacy like Sonny does not deal drugs is just insulting. A throw away that Sonny does not allow drug dealing near schools, may be okay. The writers just need to move towards the middle

Could someone point out to me what good Carly, Sonny and Jason bestowed upon Michael? Being calm when someone bust into your apartment wanting to kill you is not exactly what I would call a gift.

Personally, when the shit hits the fan I would love it if Michael taps into an inner AJ - minus the alcohol.

I'm also irritated that we won't get any flashbacks with AJ in all this but since they couldn't have been bothered to give Michael and AJ a final scene I don't know why I'm surprised.

I'd take Sonny being a smug bastard, like he was when he first arrived. It's why Julian works at times. He's a dick, but when he owns it, it's awesome. When he's omg I wuv joo Alexis no leave me then I'm like no. Let them both own being smug dicks.

Also, word to Jordan straight up saying um yeah I'm sure Sonny is back here cooking to Shawn and then saying that Shawn is the worst. But Shawn can cook, so he has some skill set. It was the first time I've seen chemistry or charm from Shawn. Scenes with RM really revitalized the actor.

Carly continues to be the worst mother ever.

Not named "Madeline," Liesl" or "Ava."

I found Anna laughable and pointless today. I mean why taunt if you have any actual HOPE of doing anything? Just made her look small.

Because it's Sonny. And he ruins everything. Even on Anna's worst day, she's at least a million times better than that barware-throwing, fake-tan having, baby-mama capping, SERIAL KILLER taunting, manboob-having midget mobster will ever be.

I don't know. Thinking about it, what has Ava done to Kiki (compared to the mothers in P.C.)? The biggest sin I can think of is lying about her paternity.

Ava's getting involved with Kiki's ex Morgan (whom, admittedly, Kiki never really loved) wasn't her finest hour nor is her having such a fucked-up values system that Kiki somehow believes that her lying to Michael about keeping the truth about Sonny's killing A.J. is doing him a favor. Kiki's lying to Michael is ultimately her choice/fault, but Ava's being a pathological liar/murderer doesn't help.

Some, not me because I found it awesome, might point to Ava sleeping with Kiki's (soon-to-be-ex-)husband about ten seconds after Kiki dumped him.

I'm gonna give Mo some acting props here - I like the way he delivered this line

Anna: Your son could have fathered that baby. It's going to make Thanksgiving kind of awkward, I think

Sonny: We'll manage!

It was very amused/arrogant at the same time

I actually thought MB was good in all the scenes with Anna. He really does play arrogant, smug asshole quite well. He is able to get his lines out much better. (Still not great most of the time but hey it's an improvement!) Why TPTB always insist on writing Sonny as anything but an immoral, smug dick makes no sense.

Magda is my fave lately. She is getting the best lines and DM is killing every single one.

Morgan was on fire yesterday and he was looking fine as fuck. What a treat! Now, I'm very scared for the scenes today with Sonny. He better be all MWOP and not get all woobie and forgive Sonny instantly.

I liked the Ava/Silas scenes. Now, they make absolutely no sense and honestly lately ME is playing Silas about as OOC as BM is playing Jason, but if I just forget that, Silas and Ava actually have really great chem.

I would support some kind of Silas/Ava/Morgan triangle just on the fact it would make Kiki's head explode. And that's always a good thing.

Bullet of love, to you. I hadn't thought of this but now I want it to happen. Kiki's head exploding is never a bad thing but I want more glorious "WTF is she stil doing here" looks thrown Kaka's way. I rewound that shit twice.

Why would this make Lauren's head explode? Silas and Ava are her parents, and Lauren doesn't seem to have a problem with Ava and Morgan now.

Slow clap for the bolded my friend. I've been saying that for years.

What is Sonny's deal? He's anti-drug ( despite the character's early years on the show), is he out of the strip club business? Is it guns? Prostitution? Designer knock-offs? Fake documents? Human trafficking?

One coffee warehouse, a shitty restaurant( what happened to Michael working there?) and an island Casino, may be his fronts, but the most intimidating mobster in the area* has to be doing something shifty, and there are only so many shifty things to choose from.

*whenever another character mentions Sonny and his empire, I often wonder if it's a  Prof.Doofenshmirtz tri-state area kind of thing.

Eh, I've never really warmed to Dante, he has had a few "ok" moments but he's Sonny's son and Lulu's husband which to me far overwhelms whatever usefulness about him. If he just up and vanished tomorrow I wouldn't care.

Ron never bothered to really flesh out Silas' personality. He told Michael he wasn't a cop anymore and had the makeup team cover up his tats and that was pretty much it. He couldn't even be bothered to make Silas and Steven twins, no Silas was the older brother who just happened to look identical to his little brother, because that's how it works and all.

Silas has acted however the script has told him to act, the same as all the other characters on this show. They all may as well be bipolar at this point.

The only characters I feel that are being written as their usual selves are Carly and Sonny for they've always been selfish, self serving, egotistical, cruel, and wicked.

Just the fact that two important men in her life would be focusing their attentions elsewhere.  Like the diss of how she was dressed yesterday, but longer and louder.

Michael was an idiot to say yes to being Franco's best man.

I think that this Michael, as portrayed by this actor, has been pretty consistent about wanting to please everyone, so I wasn't too surprised by this.  I mean, it's nuts, but it's nuts within the parameter of the character, I think.

I'm pretty sure Michael and Morgan won't get along very well when the truth is revealed

I know Morgan kept it from Michael as well, but lately it seems to me more like they're setting it up for Morgan to re-up his anger toward Sonny, and so I'm hoping that M&M form a united front against their terrible awful parents.  I'd be okay with Michael forgiving Morgan pretty quickly.

More importantly, what about Julian's Briefs?!

But Kiki is in the middle of this so I think it's being set up that they're both shunned by Michael in anger and turn to each other for comfort. Ron's main agenda involves "romances" it seems, family is often an afterthought if it matters at all.

The only bright spot for me in today's show were the tiny snippets with Brad and Lucas.

Watching Maurice and the kid go scream for scream was...I just don't care.

Oh wow Morgan has a temper tantrum over what a terrible person Sonny is for the hundredth, I'm over it. I actually liked that Sonny finally fired back at him that Ava killed Connie, once again the wee Morgan is left to deal with the fact that Ava is not a good person either, ffs I hate them all so much, so very much.

Kikaka needs to choke on an appetizer. Michael should really be a sympathetic character but I really just want to see him hurt, I cannot stand him nor do I care about how he handles the truth about AJ, I just want Monica to find out and get in some nice shots at the greasy fiend.

I did have to like how Heather got the jump on Jordan in ten seconds.

Link to comment

Poor Jordan and Shawn had to hold the stupid batons today. And sure. Jordan can take down this huge guy but Heather manages to wrape her up elaborately in magically appearing saran wrap. siiiiiiiiiigh.

Best moment:

Sonny: I made Carly go along with me

Morgan: no one makes mom do anything she doesn't want to do

Hey Michael, if Morgan didn't want to go, no one is forcing you either. And Joss didn't come out of the goodness of her heart but because she's 10 and Carly's making her. And ugh, why do they have to do the cheesy text-on-screen thing?

Nice to see Brad and Lucas out on a date. Even if it is the Canco wedding, poor fellows.

Shut uuuuuuuuup, Spencer. Although I like Scott calling him a runaway bandit. And teaching him card tricks in the background

The queue to shake Morgan's hand starts behind me.

Y'all know I love me some Morgan but he is kinda willing to screw Michael over to protect Ava, so. He's not entirely virtuous here.

Okay, now I see what some of you mean about Kiki wearing a dress from the Madonna vintage collection.

Michael saying "I ain't" fits a character who was raised as Sonny's child, was in a coma for part of high school, and hasn't really gone to college. Yet it bugs me!!!

Shawn aiming the gun at NotTodd!Franco, then yapping at him instead of shooting made me tune out. Vaguely amused that RH is playing it like yeah, so much whatever.

Pathetic that your son tells you to "man up." BC's delivery is great.  But that response is some of the strangest delivery I've ever seen from MB:

"OH. KAY. DAM. IT!!! I killed AJ Quartermaine!!!" *Rage face* (Now stop harassing me, son! So not fair! And look, I'm almost crying so you won't tell Michael.)

I also like Morgan's snarl face when it's directed at Sonny. He really should have just knocked Sonny out for his dismissive attitude. Now I kind of want Morgan to look confused and ask, "Who's Connie?"

Brad is a dumbass, and pathetic that he's excited to be Lucas' date to Carly and Franco's wedding. Poor Sam.

Spencer and Carly having an exchange about telling the truth is just ... too much.

Puh-lease, AS IF Heather could overpower and tie up Jordan. I guess this is the major insult-our-intelligence part of the show? Although Heather tricking and locking Shawn up may be the one time I like her.

Nina's plan was already done to Amy B.'s character when she was toward the end of her pregnancy on Private Practice. It was gross, but V. and the baby both lived.

And Morgan became MWOP again.

"Don't try to be noble, now."

"You killed Micheal's biological father and mom covered up, that's a double twist in the heart."

"No one makes mom do anything she doesn't want to do!"

"You killed an unarmed man."

"I thought your word was your bond."

"Oh please tell me because nothing can be worse than what you've done!"

And then Heather's texts. Because Shawn is dumb. You left Jordan, who gives no fucks in the building where you stashed Heather. You told Jordan just enough for her to clue Heather in. If only they were snap chats.

And shut up Spencer. Please kill him, Heather. Kill this annoying thing.

God bless Shawn, standing there pointing a gun at Franco while Franco gets dressed, ties his tie, puts on his shoes...Worst hit man ever.  If he was so hell-bent on killing Franco, why wait so long?  It just really cracks me up.  And I find myself having a weird sort of respect for loony Heather?  Say what you will, but she does Get Things Done.  And the plastic wrap was comedic gold.

I heart Morgan so much.  But I do wish he wasn't on the "don't tell Michael" train, and I especially wish he wasn't willing to trade telling Michael for Ava's safety.  Although I get why he's doing it; he didn't really have a lot of options.  Morgan better not come around to Sonny's side just because Ava shot Connie.  That will be the dumbest dumb that ever dumbed on this show, and that is saying a lot.

Is Donna Mills a doctor?  I honestly don't know.

Ava is going to die, isn't she?  I hope that everyone blames Sonny for it, just to pile it on.  But dear god, Nina should NOT be alone with a baby!

When Sonny was begging Morgan not to tell the golden child about him killing AJ, I really wish Morgan had said something super snarky along the lines of, "Sure Dad, I'll keep your secret, just like you kept mine.  Better hope I don't forget to take my bipolar meds!".

I couldn't believe Shawn just yammering on and on and ON.

He would do it because he is Sonny and Carly's kid and this is the sort of thing they create, no real loyalty if it comes down to picking someone else over their own wants and needs.

None of them have a leg to stand on when it comes to doing the "right thing" imho. They're all shitty people, just some are worse then others but they've all proven they will screw each other right the fuck over to get whatever they want.

Michael screwed Morgan to get Kiki, Sonny is willing to do whatever to keep everyone, especially Michael, from finding out he killed AJ, Carly won't allow anyone, especially Michael, to find out she knew and kept quiet, lying to his face constantly, and Morgan is now willing to throw Michael under the bus for Ava. They all deserve each other as far as I'm concerned.

I wouldn't say that. He is being loyal to the child she's carrying. And like Turtle said, he didn't have anything else to barter with to make sure Ava was safe.
