Ashley's hilarious review.

http://theashleysrealityroundup.com/2015/10/02/teen-mom-2-season-6-reunion-recap-jenelle-kail-face-the-doctor/

We watch some clips (once again getting to see “Jeneeeeeellle!“) which make Jenelle emotional. Is Jenelle crying over the clips about her not having her son, Jace? Nooo. Is Jenelle crying because her relationship with her mom is in turmoil? Nooo. She’s crying, of course, because her nitwit ex-fiance found another girl’s back to hitch his boner to.

Hehe. This reminded me of how much I floved Janelle's Porn Star at a Demure Family Wedding outfit.

Chelsea and Karl shouldn't complain about shit. They're getting paid for sitting on their ass doing nothing. Be happy that mtv is giving you a paycheck because you got pregnant at 16. Leah and jenelle bring drama. Mtv likes drama. Chelsea has a boring as storyline. Karl is semi delusional but Leah and jenelle bring the drama. See this is why these kids shouldn't be paid. The money they make should go into a trust fund for their kids. The kids made them famous

Forgot to mention, the supposed pay raise that Chelsea and Kail are seeking because of Leah and Jenelle's antics. I only read the article once. Could it be they are upset and seeking extra pay for having to stand around and having to wait since they can't film until the entire cast is there ready to film? I would imagine Kail, Chelsea, Cole, and Javi have planes to catch and lives to get back to. I know Leah and Jenelle don't even know what it means to miss work, school, or any of the other things that normal people have to do in life. Javi is in the air force and I imagine he needs to get his ass back to Delaware, not hang around waiting another day for Jenelle to show up from the east coast. Cory and Cole work, too. They all ain't got time for those two girls to get their shit together.

I'm sure that probably is a factor as others have said I'd want a pay increase simply for having to be associated with them, but the article specifically cited Leah's rehab bill, the plane ticket to get Jenelle there, and although it wasn't directly mentioned I think it was implied about jenelles previous rehab stent also.

I'm not surprised Chelsea and Kail are asking for extras. Why not? This gig isn't gonna last forever (I hope!) so I don't blame them for milking every last dollar from MTV. Plus the public association with both Leah and Jenelle...then they're expected still to try and remain civil while on camera? That alone deserves a raise to me. Leah and Jenelle both suck enormously in their own terrifying ways, but dealing with them both at the same time...in the same space? Fuck that. I am sick of Dr. Quack enabling and coddling Leah and Jenelle and letting them rewrite history and make excuses....and the stomping around like they're both divas like Beyonce. Just, no. Sit down, shut up, and answer the questions MTV is paying you to answer goddammit.

...Re: Drew's being harder on Jo than the likes of Nathan, I think Drew probably knows that Jo has more potential and therefore holds him to a higher standard...

I've thought this myself. I really think it is completely true.

...And I went to grad school full-time, worked an unpaid ineternship 3 full days each work, and also worked a part-time paid job, so it can and is done all the time...

Maybe it is just my background (extremely privileged) or because I'm from Australia but this doesn't seem possible. Full time university/college requires about 3 full days a week dedicated time for classes/study, so does this mean that every day you were working one way or another, or did you studies take up less time, giving you some free time?

Your scenario is also completely foreign to me. Everyone I know who has done/is doing post-graduate study (masters or PhD) either has a scholarship that covers their basic needs (provided by the Australian Government, or private industry), is not working (either because their scholarship covers their basic needs or they are being supported by parents/partner) or is only studying part-time while working (often part-time). Like I said I come from a privileged background but I honestly can't think of one person who is or has done what you have stated.

Did you have to do an internship for the length of your course? In Australia 'work experience/placements/internships' are often done in intense 'blocks' (say 2/4/6/8/10 weeks full time, a number of times during the course) rather than a consistent number of days a week throughout the course.

Will you elaborate? I'd love to hear a psychotherapist's thoughts and observations about these people.

Just conjecture of course, but Nathan strikes me as the kind of guy who ends up with a dysfunctional person like Jenelle not in spite of her mental health issues, but because of them. He gets off on control, because it feeds his warped sense of self-importance. He's someone who seeks out what he perceives as weakness and dependence in a woman and targets her because he thinks it'll make her easy to manipulate and control. It's sort of like how a child abuser will seek the kind of victim who appears to lack a lot of parental guidance, or whom s/he knows has some challenges and will be easy to groom. He turns the charm-meter to MAX in the early part of the relationship...dresses well, brings flowers, charms the parents, etc. Professes his love for his target and makes her feel like she's the center of his world, and soon he becomes HER world. Then when he feels confident that he's got her trust and dependency, the false charm wears off and the real antisocial personality begins to show. The false sense of self-importance, the grandiosity and lack of realism in life plans or expectations of unearned respect, etc. begins to become obvious, although often not to the target, like Jenelle. She's stuck in the dysfunction and can't see it. Also, Jenelle has a lot of the traits of someone with Borderline Personality Disorder, and her addiction to love/hate relationships and dependency on male attention makes for the perfect storm of a relationship with someone like Nathan.

Scary scary, no?

I would throw in the big part of his attraction to Jenelle was her MTV paycheck and his gig on the show which would also garner him a bigger paycheck than the pitiful $1500 for a mere appearance.

Like attracts like in many relationships. Nathan and Jenelle are mirror versions of each other. They both also have smooth, hairless legs.

That is why I can't bring myself to watch anything reunion-related and have to rely on you wonderful people here to fill me in on the details. I realized that yelling "Suck it, Sad Panda Face" at my TV wasn't doing my blood pressure any good.

I don't know if it's just the hoodie on David, but I thought that was an old picture of KIEFFAH for a second.

Also someone commented, "he's not setting a good example for his kids by sleeping with every chic in the tri-county area. Ask him y he went to prison for 9 months! He's a wife beater that's why!!!!!!"

Ooooooh girl, did you read the first comment underneath the picture? Whoever wrote that was spilling the tea!!! So David was in the slammer for nine months and is a wife beater. Jenelle sure knows how to pick'em. And yes, he looks just like Keefuh in that hoodie.

I am a medical assistant and I had to do an externship to get my degree. It was a total of 250 hours (I believe, this was like 5 years ago) and my schedule was determined by the practice I was externing at. My externship was unpaid and was at the end of all my in-class training, so I was not juggling an externship and classes at the same time. I was lucky enough to not have to work (and these days I can't due to health issues..) while on my externship but that's basically is how you get a bit of on the job training so you don't get to your first clinical job and go "holy shitballs I have no idea what I'm doing!". As far as I know every medical assistant program requires an externship for graduation. Also some states require MA's to take an extra certification test after graduation to be eligible for work. Where I live the test is optional (PA) and generally doesn't result in a pay increase.

MSW from UC Berkeley. Full-time 2 year program. First year field placement/internship is 2 days/week, 2nd year it's 3 days/week. Unpaid. So yes I also worked a part-time job for some cash for living expenses. And I took out loans for the rest. Very common experience here.

I'm a full time grad student. I had 2 jobs (1 just ended so I'm looking), I volunteer 2 different places and am currently completing a practical assignment that involves working in my field. I don't really have time off, but this is what I have to do to graduate in 2 years and keep my student loan debt at a reasonable level. I don't have kids though.

As for Janelle, she's in an AA program and not working and barely looks at her kids. I honestly don't have the time she does to go find losers to impregnable me and then have violent fights with. Janelle has plenty of time to screw up her life.

Nathan has the smoothest, most hairless legs I've ever seen on an adult before.

A lot of men who do porn shave their legs. Or, so I heard...um...read that ...somewhere.

I know the second quoted post was just being funny, but many men who are into fitness/bodybuilding to the extent that Nathan is shave their legs - especially when missing doing abs is an relationship dealbreaker, and gym "me" time worthy of a car chase if you have the kid you need to offload. It helps them see the definition of the musculature without the interference of hair, and if they compete, helps the judges see that much more clearly as well. Also helps those spray on tans apply more evenly.

You're giving her too much credit (pun intended).  An AA program at a community college is respectable with transferable credits, and people will actually flunk classes if they can't or won't do the work.  She's attending a for-profit trade school with dubious credentials, and as long has her checks clear she will finish.

Back in the 80's, I dated a body builder for a short time and it creeped me out that I had more hair on my body than he did, LOL. I bet Nipples is a regular at the local  waxing place. He probably gets manis and pedis, too.

I finally just got around to seeing this- what really stood out to me was how Javi seemed nervous and kept glancing at Karl every time he answered a question.

Karl always shoots him those daggers. He has to look at her for her approval or he shall receive the wrath of Karl.

Every time I see Nathan on screen, I think he suffers from roid rage.  Of course, the medical community doesn't want to recognize it as a real thing, but it does exist, and he would be a classic case/candidate. If it's not that, then he, and Jenelle, are way more effed up than any of the other people on the show, and should be getting professional help, not starring in this dog and pony show!

I just watched the finale and Part 1.

I seriously don't think I EVER truly hated someone like I hate Jenelle Evans. I don't think I've ever hated someone at all.... Until now. She is the most selfish, idiotic, waste of space I've ever seen. I saw that she just recently got some kind of head injury. I really wish it would knock some sense into her. If I were her, I'd be busting my butt to help her take care of my kid and thanking her every chance I got. Barb could've let Jace go into foster care. Instead, she took custody and spends HER time and HER money to support him. All the while, Jenelle is running around being a slut and treating the only person who cares about her like crap. I feel bad for Barbara.

I don't think I've ever let anyone on TV affect me like this either. Her face makes me sick. She's evil!! I hope for Jaces sake that she NEVER EVER gets custody of him. Because she doesn't have a clue. And poor Kaiser? When that kid gets older, his best friend will be his shrink because he'll see him 5 days a week. She has no idea what she has & I can't stand people like that.

I can't seem to find if anyone has mentioned this yet (and because I am mentally five years old.. I have to..) but... in the infamous Monkey clip.. it sounds like someone blows a big fart right after Leah thanks the audience person for saying "Monkey.". It's at about 0:58 in this clip:

(sorry, I don't know how to link it properly the way someone did it before).

Am I imagining things?

He was horrible to Jo. Horrible. To the point that even Kail looked like it was too much.

Jo has arguably made the biggest sacrifices of these teen parents, by moving and following Kail after she took Isaac three hours away and subjected the child to six-hour round trip drives for visitation.

It's a lot of effort to move and uproot your life. He was even willing to sacrifice his current relationship for the sake of his child. Nearly everyone else in the group puts their relationship drama first over their children.

I totally agree, Jo is probably among the best father in the series, all 3 versions. Even when kailyn first got pregnant she was living with his family and didn't get the boot immediately when they broke up, in fact when she finally did get to boot, it wasn't because the Riviera's just wanted her out for no reason, it was because Kail disrespected the rules. And I don't really know, but I feel like even if Kail had come in and apologized (even though I doubt she thinks she did anything wrong) that probably would have let her stay.

I still can't see why sad panda went in on Jo so much... And while I doubt this is actually the case but I have to wonder if maybe this exact situation is why Jo was so hesitant to go through the courts for child support, that he's afraid the judge is gonna automatically side with Kail and he'll be screwed.

Very strange how Drew went after Jo the way he did. Leah gets praise, Jo gets shitted on.
