  1. From the pic it looks like its an extended cab truck, which doesn't usually have its own rear door and the back seat is slightly smaller than a normal back seat, so I'm not sure how high the back of the seat is but I don't think it's particularly short? Given the heights of Jace and the daughter's heads, I wouldn't necessarily dismiss that they aren't in a backless booster? I no longer remember all the seat/height/weight requirements as its been a few years since my last child was in a seat, but the kids heads appear high enough that they could be sitting in those Graco seats that cost $20 and can be easily moved from vehicle to vehicle (someone hopefully knows which ones I'm remembering). I have no idea why I'm even pointing any of this out, I just happened to notice these few things - I also usually notice the fact that often the girls are using the seats/straps incorrectly.
  2. Jace appears to have on at least the lap belt in that pic. A lot of cars only have lap belts and not lap/shoulder combos in the middle rear seat depending on the age of the vehicle. I'm not sure if it's a requirement for them to have a combo belt at all or not? David's daughter looks to also be wearing her seatbelt, I see the shoulder belt either coming up over her left shoulder, or she has improperly tucked it back behind her shoulder (I know my kids used to try and get away with that when they were younger and the seatbelt would rub right against their necks, before the era of sliding them up or down to adjust for height). It's hard to tell due to the dark clothing she's wearing, but the angle makes it unlikely she isn't wearing it and given the boys appear to be, I doubt she's unrestrained? Kaiser is obviously in a car seat, but should be rear facing still. Anyway, while I agree on all points made regarding Jenelle in general, to me it looks as if the kids *are* actually wearing their seatbelts?
  3. I found a transcript of the episode and yep, absolutely right. I didn't catch the developed part and just the portrait of Whitman :) What's often funny to me is how we are all watching a show about these character's memory and perception of events and then we all come here and discuss them ... bringing our memory and perception of the show. Sometimes we don't remember the exact same things even though we all watched the exact same show. I rarely post because I'm so shy about doing so & mostly because I'm afraid I will remember something dead wrong LOL
  4. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a reference to Whitney at all, but indeed to Walt Whitman or I thought it was some sort of portrait ... something along those lines. But had nothing to do with Whitney, which is in keeping with her referencing to Cole that she isn't in the book at all. She would have caught it if it were something as simple as just changing a few letters of her name. Per the Red Cross, you can only donate whole blood every 8 wks/56 days, so Helen may have donated *plasma* a few times a week - which I know from a family member who donated a few times a week recently, that can be done - but she certainly didn't donate blood. My thought on the hat was that perhaps Alison gave Noah the hat & that's why he asked for it back. She might notice it missing & wonder where it went. Although she's so obtuse, combined with pregnancy brain, that if that were indeed the case, she may never have noticed. Most likely it was just Noah being his usual ass-clown self, but that was what came to mind for me: he didn't want his "paramour" to notice a missing gift. I'm from the South, it is much easier to just say back home & over yonder for locations ;)
  5. I know the second quoted post was just being funny, but many men who are into fitness/bodybuilding to the extent that Nathan is shave their legs - especially when missing doing abs is an relationship dealbreaker, and gym "me" time worthy of a car chase if you have the kid you need to offload. It helps them see the definition of the musculature without the interference of hair, and if they compete, helps the judges see that much more clearly as well. Also helps those spray on tans apply more evenly.
  6. Javi has said he's in the Air Force. As the wife of a now retired Air Force recruiter, I can tell you that *most* AF personnel don't spend that much time deployed. A few career fields will be gone a decent amount of time, but for the most part, being at their home base is often par for the course. (We once knew someone who had spent his entire career, which was 15.5 yrs at that point, at one base, which was absolutely unheard of. Like they just dropped him there & clean forgot him!) We moved on average every 4 to 6 years, occasionally more often but that was at our request, with our shortest time on station being slightly under 2 yrs. So its entirely possible that Javi is in a career field where he works 7-430 and never deploys. What's very strange to me is that none of his fellow airman or even anyone who is on the same base have seemed to pop up on social media saying they know him, work with him, have seen them around, etc. He's not a ghost, so perhaps the Base Commander has issued an order that no one is to reference TM2/Javi & Kail, but I find that really weird, & furthermore there's always someone who is willing to be the bigmouth. You can't wear the uniform and impersonate, but I'm not sure what happens if you just go around saying you're military. However, Javi has freely stated what base he is assigned to & I'm sure there would be consequences if that were not true, so he really must be or have been during the timeframe we are being shown. I've tried looking thru the military things I know just out of curiosity, to see if I can find his name & or info on his current duty station/career field, but haven't turned anything up. It's been 6 yrs since we got out, though, and my skills aren't up to snuff anymore unfortunately!
  7. I also thought Jeremy's comment to Leah on the phone, as she was discussing potentially going to the "treatment facility place" was somewhat telling & points in the direction y'all are going. When he said "And don't hold nothin' back ... even if it makes you cry or whatever", my first thought was that Jeremy KNOWS what has happened to Leah in her past because Leah has told him, and he knows its a contributing factor to some of her issues. He wants her to get it out with the help of a trained professional, and finally confront the demons to get the help she so badly needs.
  8. Now this one I do know, having been a military wife for over 20 yrs - frequently used term & here's Urban Dictionary's definition of it: Dependapotamus Traditionally a service-members dependent who is a "stay at home mom" that doesn't do a damn thing all day besides sitting on the couch looking remarkably similar to Jabba the Hut leaching off of military benefits and eating anything that gets too close. "Dude what the hell is that on your couch?" "Thats my wife!" "You need to do something with that dependapotamus." http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=dependapotamus Yep.
  9. Christina, thank you *so* much! I knew I'd read it somewhere & I went looking all over creation last night trying to find it to help link where it was said, but couldn't find it anywhere! I wanted to say I remembered reading it here, but it had originally been seen somewhere else, I assumed it was social media but that wasn't it.
  10. I believe Kail has said her MIL lives with them, not sure if Javi's parents are still married & the FIL does as well. I'm surprised Kail wasn't insisting that Sterling meet them at the hotel if they HAD to go per Javi's insistence - that was probably another reason she was even more pissed. He was keeping her from her beloved that weekend.
  11. I have nothing to really add as a new poster (very long time lurker though, hi!) that hasn't already been covered ... however, that wasn't "Goggles" in the car on the way to the doctor if that's the scene being discussed? I've rewatched multiple times and it was definitely "Evil Twin". Her face is visible a couple of times & her hair is not the curls of Ali, but the longer, straighter hair of Gracie.
