Just caught a rumor/spoiler about Douglas....only reason I looked at all was it had his picture on it. (I'm still a sucker for Henry Joseph Samiri I'm afraid.❤️)

Anyhow, said spoiler mentions that Douglas may overhear Hope & Brooke talking about Thomas so our little honest man Douglas goes & blabs to Eric or Ridge that Hope killed his Daddy. 😱

I'm convinced they want to kill the show and hate all the fans. I am done watching this mess & avoid spoilers etc but that darn kid is so adorable, I did read this one & hope its wrong.😥

Me too! I just recently got back to watching after the baby swap got resolved. I may be going on hiatus again! They should make the show about Douglas, Beth, and Kelly playing. I would watch that! 😆

It's unclear to me how old Brooke is supposed to be but I guess Shauna is mid-40s-ish? I can't imagine her hoo-ha is in much better shape than Brooke's at this point. Sort of have to applaud the show for not putting Ridge with another 20-something like Caroline. There must be some other attraction at play here for him wrt to Shauna.

And did Brooke leave him when she found out Thomas knew Beth was alive for months and chose to keep the truth from Hope?

Nope. Though she should have.

But he's trying to equate the two events and they are not even in the same universe.

I was joking but they would make striking couple visually and personality wise. It could be like Palex from Degrassi (two beautiful girls from different worlds forced to work together and have a clash and banter that grows into a friendship then sexual chemistry and love). It’s weird this show is set in LA and fashion and no one is gay, bi or even fluid or questioning. I’ve always thought Justin had feelings for Bill.

Hey, I've been all for a Stally union. Somehow, it strikes me as a story that JMW would dig and I'm sure she'd welcome the change in being with someone who puts her first and has ambition that Liam's never had.

This seems like a BS way to wiggle into Wyatt/Flo without him looking like a douchebag. Too bad Sally calling every name in the now defunct phone book won't erase Flo selling his niece like furniture.

The more I think about it, the more I’m convinced that the spoilers about Wyatt and Sally will offer both a way out of the relationship. Sally will probably realize Wyatt was a rebound and way for her to lick her wounds after being unceremoniously dumped by Thomas (which may or may not then send her back into Thomas’s orbit) and Wyatt admitting he still has feelings for Flo. I’d bet anything it all results in the end of their engagement. 
 

If not Thomas, not sure who they end up pairing Sally with (since the show insists on having everyone except characters of color paired) or if, shocker of shocker, they go back to the roots of the show and focus on fashion and Sally designing.
 

Or maybe she ends up getting an oopsie pregnancy storyline after the breakup.

Again, he's dealing with a woman who moved across an entire continent and I filtrated a fashion house to stalk the last man she dated. You can lose something you never had in the first place.

That snark aside, I do have some mixed feelings about Zoe. As a PoC, I really did not want to see her get a harsher punishment than the woman who was in on the scheme from the beginning and I didn't want her discarded as all the other poorly written PoC usually are when ratings take a hard drive. But turning her into a naive babe in the wood after seeing her be the biggest bully behind Tommy Choo-Choo for months? After she was willing to let Xander go without a fight rather than turn herself in? That ain't it, Chief. Not even remotely. I'd have an easier time believe Steffy decided to become a Buddhist monk over this crapola.

Yeah unless Zoe is going to turn on Thomas at some point I don't like how they've dumbed her down to let herself be his pawn. Elsewhere viewers are predicting that he'll kill her to protect himself but I don't see Bell being that stupid. Having someone like Thomas kill two Black characters would put CBS in a situation they don't want to be in, at least not for a silly soap opera. It's my theory that's why they just dropped Xander with no fanfare because for a while it looked to me like they were going to have Thomas kill him too. I'm thinking someone among TPTB must have put the brakes on it.

The Xander actor got picked up for a Tyler Perry series IIRC. Until Emma's insertiointo the story, everyone assumed he would be taking the dirt nap because of it.

Wait, what? Emma was brought back for Thomas to kill instead of Xander? Huh. I got the impression he was going to kill both of them. So the writers were determined to have him kill somebody Black one way or another? OMG. They could've sent Emma away to college or something. Killing her off didn't really accomplish much IMO, especially since Justin and Bill were for the most part kept away from the storyline.

I'll try to give Bell the benefit of the doubt that he wasn't intentionally trying to kill off black characters...the actress hadn't been on Show in months and Bell just thought it would add to the drama. As you said, she made no impact and hardly anyone mourned her death so much as the fact that neither Justin nor Bill used this as an excuse to go after Thomas in earnest.
