Look, I appreciate trying to bring some levity into the proceedings, but even if these skits were funny, it's TOO MANY of them. This is the Emmys, not Cedric's opportunity to audition for an SNL hosting gig.

Julianne had pretty much the Emmyest Emmy-bait material in the final episode of Hacks.

No surprise at all, but I'm happy for Jason.  Been a fan of his since his time on SNL, which had some of my favorite cast members at the time (him, Bill Hader, Andy Samberg.)

Yes he played JD, Annie Potts' love interest. 

I thought that after that moving acknowledgement of her husband's death, it was tacky to play her off with "Con te Partiro"

Jennifer Coolidge needs some kind of patent and trademark protection of the phases "Oh wow" and "Ooooh" although it's unlikely anyone else now or in the future will come anywhere close to doing it as entertaining as she does.

Edit - I take that last part back. Ru is smarter than most of these people and kept it short and meaningful.
