I love Transparent, but I liked Season 1 better than Season 2.  S2 got a little too arty for its own good.

I wonder if it actually is a hinderance for shows like Veep and Silicon Valley to have so many nominees in the writing/directing categories.  On one hand, it is certainly good that they have so many great, Emmy worthy people behind the scenes, but I have to think some kind of split voting can play into effect.

Yes, because they co-hosted the episode for which they were nominated.   It was the first time two people won that award, though.

Selina is Queen.  I don't know if she submitted Correspondence Dinner but if she did then that is Her Emmy.

I do not know how they decide how someone's death trumps someone else's. Unless they were giving some kind of special lifetime achievement award or something akin to that, I think the only fair thing is to keep them all in the In Memoriam segment. I feel like I sound like a bitch now.
