spacefly June 18, 2020 Share June 18, 2020 (edited) The previous state I lived in had a diploma that said you completed satisfactorily the high school curriculum and the other was a diploma that said you passed the Exit Exam. Both were legitimate HS diplomas but the exit exam had a higher standing. Where I am now you can get a completion certificate or a diploma. A completion certificate is for Special education students that completed a curriculum but not in the same way as a a student with a diploma. Completion certificate students can go to Community college but have to meet a set of standards. After checking out some of the GA regulations it seems as if they have similar levels. She may have had a learning disability and an IEP. Soap dirt has a picture of the working stiff sporting a too tight shirt As well as straining too tight khaki pants and a jacket... hardly qualifies as business attire but whatever.... PradaKitty December 31, 2020 Share December 31, 2020 A state job means he is working for one of the state agencies where they live. For example, I live in Sacramento where there are plenty of “state workers” doing jobs from clerical work to taking care of state property, (parks, the Capitol grounds, etc., and from working for elected officials to serving as agency counsel (lawyers). I assume Jonah is working at an entry level job, possibly clerical. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/24005-7-little-johnstons-general-discussion/page/23/#findComment-6524780

Brodicea January 10, 2021 Share January 10, 2021 I laughed my butt off at Amber and Trent in the bedroom. If my partner were to act like Trent, I would be: amazed he cared enough to move outside his comfort zone thrilled he even tried keeping it fresh loving that we could still laugh and joke around after 20 years but, that ain't happening here and I am a little jealous. Annifran January 27, 2021 Share January 27, 2021 It's rather surprising to me that there was so little affection shown between Ashley and Jonah, especially when they parted at the end of the show when she went home. I would expect more--a kiss, embrace, hand holding--something. If they have been dating for a year, they act more like "just good friends," unless they are not comfortable showing affection with the cameras on them. In any event, I think they make an adorable couple, well suited to one another. Ashley's family are great, so loving and supportive of her. I wonder why the meeting with Ashley's mother and stepfather, and then with her biological father, were both held outdoors in what obviously was very cold weather. At the picnic, everyone looked uncomfortable, freezing as they were sitting there. Wouldn't a nice warm restaurant been a much more appropriate place to gather? The Apple Festival looked like fun, but it was concerning to me that masks were on at times or masks were off at times while they were there. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/24005-7-little-johnstons-general-discussion/page/23/#findComment-6571115

At the picnic, everyone looked uncomfortable, freezing as they were sitting there. Wouldn't a nice warm restaurant been a much more appropriate place to gather? It was probably outside because of Covid. They apparently have no feeling in their nose. Their masks can come down and their nose is so numb, they don’t feel the cold air on their nose. The don’t feel the wind hitting it either. I had no idea. So is that like "numb bum" because my husband never seems to feel the wind blowing down his plumbers crack. 7 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/24005-7-little-johnstons-general-discussion/page/23/#findComment-6571708
