Not only is that Tim & Heidi shirt totally weird and too big for Tim, but the spacing on the words is weird just like everything in RodWorld. 

Maybe that pie is almost big enough, if it's just for the menfolk. 🙄

I’m a terrible sinner, nothing special about my parenting. SGirl has had more freedom than poor Timcel since middle school. The world is wicked only if you have stunted, undereducated offspring. The extreme evangelicals I know, and they are adults, live in a frightening, dangerous world with temptation, evil, and disaster lurking around every corner. Both their churches and commercial right-wing media play on these fears. Fear is central to control. 

A Facebook account may accidentally show a Rodlet that people can enjoy a glass of wine, wear a single t-shirt instead of three, or enjoy talking to a gay person and not being struck down by lightening for doing it.

Oh man, that Happy Birthday video was creepy...from the warbling in 13-part harmony on the HB song with Jill's voice front and center, to the zombie-like, frozen-grin way that Timcel was staring into Mahmo's camera...some of the Rod's videos could come straight from a 1980's budget horror film.  And where was Tim's betrothed?

Of course the celebration couldn't just be about Timmay - Jill had to mention that he and Nurie will be the same age for awhile, with a lil' giggle.  And there is no way in the world that peanut butter pie is going to feed everyone in attendance unless Dave gets half and everyone else gets a sample.

And why is it that a woman who posts anything and everything on social media - much of it not her place to post - has to give a lengthy explanation of why Tim has FB?  Who cares?  We all know it's not his anyway.  Whatever, Jill - go back to filming entire church services and the congregation and putting it on Instagram.  Tim doesn't have anything to post anyway unless it's a soliloquy about how wonderful and beautiful his mother is.

Jill's parents are old enough to collect SS aren't they?  They seemingly don't have any major living expenses since they reside on Amy's land except maybe for utilities which they could easily shut off while they're away.  I expect Jill is more than happy to take a generous cut of their social security income in exchange for allowing them to stay at the Barndo.  There may be local social services like Meals on Wheels or transportation to and from appointments that they can access, too, and I am sure Jill is happy to get their leftovers and ride along for free.

I had an elderly family friend who qualified for Meals on Wheels and the amount of food provided was far more than she could eat in a single meal.  She always had enough leftovers for 1 or 2 subsequent meals and she thought the food was pretty tasty, too.  I am sure Jill is happy to make sure nothing goes to waste.

They rule with an iron fist afterwards too.   Do you think Kaylee and Jonathan have any freedom?   It's not about being good, or even resisting temptation, its about control.    It's not the evil is out in the world, its that the kids might learn they don't have to let their parents control their lives after they become adults.  That they can keep their own money and have their own social media and do what they want.

Jill is TOTALLY taking her parents' social security checks and any other benefits that come their way.   She will explain it all away as "making sure you have what you need, I'll just handle it all so you don't have to worry."

Jill must tell them that just because society says when you are 18, you are an adult and can do what you want, it's not what "GOD" wants. Timbits is 23 and hasn't lived IN the house in quite a few years, but can't have a FB account until he's courting. So if something happens and the courtship ends, does Jill delete his FB account? It is a man's cross shoulder bag, so yeah a purse.  I found one online as cheap as $5. from the pic online tim now has a place to store his cigerattes and compact umbrella 😂
