Anduin July 21, 2022 Share July 21, 2022 I was looking forward to the D&D movie, but that trailer I'm really not sure about. Too much comedy for my liking. Some people have said that it more resembles the way D&D ends up being played, rather than an actual fantasy novel or something. I've always been a little too disorganised to actually play RPGs, can anyone else confirm? Also, Sophia Lillis looks distractingly like Black Widow here. She's playing a thief, right? It might be deliberate. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/20-trailers-new-movies-coming-soon-to-a-cinema-near-you/page/51/#findComment-7561472

RedElf October 27, 2022 Share October 27, 2022 Everybody's all happy about the announcement of a new Henry Cavill Superman movie, but I'm actually excited about "Argylle", by Matthew Vaughn, starring Cavill. It's about a spy with amnesia who gets convinced that he's actually a famous author of spy novels. The thing that excites me the most is the cast: Sam Rockwell, Bryce Dallas Howard, John Cena, Dua Lipa, Ariana DeBose, Rob Delaney, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O'Hara, Jing Lusi and Samuel L. Jackson. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/20-trailers-new-movies-coming-soon-to-a-cinema-near-you/page/51/#findComment-7721751
Scarlett45 December 6, 2022 Share December 6, 2022 I saw an ad for this movie on YouTube: Champions staring Woody Harrelson- Quote A former minor-league basketball coach receives a court order to guide a team of players with intellectual disabilities. Despite his doubts, he soon realizes that together they can go further than ever imagined. From the preview, first I thought it was great that so many actors with mental disabilities were able to get work, and the story was actually going to be about THEM and their lives (they didnt just exist as inspiration porn or a way for Woody's character to be a better person), I also liked that a character's sister played a big role (even if she ends up sleeping with Woody, but I rarely see the Sib relationship in media!), but the "almost use" of the R word for laughs, isn't funny. Calling anyone a slur is never funny, but the "almost" but "not" seems to be a way of picking on a community where a lot of the members CANNOT fight back (punching down). And that not okay, and you dont get inclusion points. I might have to wait and see what other people in similar situations think before I watch cause I am sensitive about these things. If it helps at all, this looks like an almost exact American remake of a 2018 Spanish film of the same name (that was nominated for multiple film festival awards and even won a few). Judging from the original version's trailer, the American version cleaned it up a bit (you do hear the slu 2 or 3 times in this trailer): 1 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/20-trailers-new-movies-coming-soon-to-a-cinema-near-you/page/51/#findComment-7780990

Scarlett45 December 15, 2022 Share December 15, 2022 I saw this one during an ad on YouTube. From what I gather, Florence Pugh's character suffers from alcoholism, and there was a drunk driving (or another accident) where her soon to be sister-in-law was killed and she was partly responsible? (I assume her fiancé broke up with her or is incapacitated in some way from this accident) She has to learn to forgive herself and gets through her addiction while bonding with her wouldve been father-in-law. I love Florence, and Morgan Freeman is a gem so this looks good.
