It's hard to watch Sutton try to please or at least not make Kyle angry. I prefer when she calls Kyle out on her issues.

Maurio is looking leaner, more buff and like he is enjoying his life without Kyle. Meanwhile, Kyle seems lonely and unhappy. I don't have much sympathy for her though. She was pretty distant with Mauricio for a long time. She not only hung out with Morgan, but she made a video playing her love interest. She was pretty much throwing it in Mo's face. Now she is seeing his response.

Probably because Sutton learned from childhood to be a people pleaser and to try to gain the affection of people who seemed distant or not approving of her (like her mother). She is repeating a familiar pattern.

Agree and wish they weren't all (except Garcelle) afraid of Kyle. It only reinforces Kyle's power, which ticks me off. 

How much weight was Dorit lost? She was already thin but she's starting to look skeletal. In one scene her arms looked like twigs! Maybe she transferred some of the fat to her mouth LOL, because her top lip also looked plumped up. 

Nice gesture from Boz but I wouldn't want anyone to gift me a bathing suit. I have to try them on. A cover-up would've been a better choice IMO.

Because with Garcelle - her claim to fame isn't HW.  Unlike someone like Erika Jayne.  Kyle's so-called "power" has been greatly exaggerated.  No, she is not an EP on the show.  She wasn't able to save her bestie Teddi from getting fired.  Kyle's never even been a fan favorite.  Garcelle and Sutton would easily take that.  Hopefully, Sutton gets that she has the power.  Kyle's not even ranked that high among other HW's GOAT - Greatest of All Time.

I find Dorit repulsive, inauthentic, and 100% unlikable. The show is markedly better in scenes she is not in. She can’t leave my TV screen soon enough. I am so disgusted by the preview scene of Dorit and Erika on the yacht, once again, coming at Sutton. I’m interested in hearing their answer to Sutton’s plea “What do you want from me?” Though I fear they will twist it back onto her while taking no responsibility for their behavior.

I don’t know… She’s the OG of the entire franchise. Andy keeps asking her back, even after she’s had a bad season and not been very likable, like last season. She ran off LVP and Denise Richards.  There are probably others too, because she leads the mean girls. She has first billing in the credits. She’s had both her sisters on the show. Most of the women either suck up to her or at least try to stay on her good side. I’m guessing she is probably one of the highest paid HWs.

I think she does have power in terms of this show.

lets split the difference and call it burgundy? whatever color it is its ugly with those 3 bows and is way to "young" for kyle (and by to young i mean look at the full dress on the website that fit, cut, and style wernt made for someone over id say 30)

I was wondering about that too. If the reason is because of a high crime rate then I’ll cross going there off of my list. Pavlov did the experiments with reinforcement, where he taught dogs to salivate before food came. He would pair a bell with food, and over time, removed the food and the dogs were conditioned to salivate just to the bell.

Since Sutton was giving the dog cucumbers, which the dog liked, maybe she was saying she knew a trick to get dogs to salivate. Really, I don't think the comment made tons of sense, but it had something to do with a dog-begging-food combo.

I was wondering the same thing. The friendship between Sutton and Garcelle doesn't seem balanced. Garcelle just is glommed onto to Sutton, not letting her out of her sight and has commented many times on Sutton wanting to be friends with Kyle so bad. 

Sutton would drop Garcelle in a heartbeat and Garcelle knows it. But it seems like Garcelle is right there making sure that doesn't happen.

My take is that Garcelle is telegraphing now’s our chance to take the power!  Sutton is still “deferring” to Kyle as queen bee, saying she’s desperate to be accepted by her. Garcelle is saying we need to stop giving Kyle a pass because …and this is where I’m inferring…she sees that the “popular clique” has completely crumbled. Rinna is gone and Kyle decided on her own to boot Dorit from her clique. Erika just seemed to wander away because we’ve always all been friends (Kyle-Erika-Dorit-Rinna), so she’s still ping-ponging between Kyle and Dorit, but seems to have developed a closer friendship with Dorit and Boz. Garcelle sees the Queen bee is wounded and alone and primed for a takedown. Sutton, after so many years of being an outsider but looking to Kyle as the popular leader, isn’t sure whether she wants to follow along with Garcelle’s plan for (typical Housewife-style) vengeance or use the opportunity of Kyle suddenly not having anyone else to sidle up to her to become the new #2. She’s definitely using the rift in the popular clique to knock Dorit down a few pegs and climb up on her wallet over her. Garcelle’s like it’s our time to take Kyle down too and run this bitch, but Sutton has some trepidation about going that far. In the end, I do think they’re going to start holding Kyle to task to “be honest” about her life. Maybe it’s not all that serious with the mean girl jockeying, but I think the dynamic shift is apparent to Garcelle and there’s no reason TO let Kyle continue to set boundaries for herself while holding everyone else to task to “be honest.

That's not what I think, that's what I see her doing. I don't see it as "needy" per sey. She seems very anxious attached to Sutton. More like insecure. Being independent in your own life doesn't mean you have a perfect social life.

I think you’re onto something here! Garcelle is successful, independent and smart - she doesn’t need to be anyone’s plus one. She also has a bit of a scheming side - seems like she may be planting ideas in Sutton’s little ol’ fretting head.

Jennifer Tilly can bring the bling to the show. I love how Erica recognizes vintage couture and appreciates it. But then again, she’s had a lot of experience with old things that didn’t appreciate over time. 

The best thing about having a DVR is never having to watch Boz and her attempt at a storyline baby.

Not a fan of wacky Kathy, she can just wander off into the ocean. I love how Bravo bravo fucking bravo still pretends that one person plans and organizes these trips every year. 
Sutton needs to lean into A: being a villain and spouting whatever nonsense is rattling around in her southern brain; or B: sucking up to people that do not deserve sucking up to and never speaking.

I keep thinking about Box and her boyfriend, first they talked about having a baby, then they each said they would want to be married before they have a baby and now they are stymied about the living arrangements but didn't want to live together before they get married or at least engaged...this all spells doom for their dumb relationship goals. 

They put the cart before the horse for sure, nothing really thought out.  Her daughter was asking really good questions and Box and her boyfriend sat there looking like deer in headlights. 

Connecting with someone age appropriate might be hard but Box forgot about getting to know that person before you do anything permanent like a baby or a tattoo.

I give this relationship till the reunion when she tells us it is over.

To be fair, almost everything about Dorit is fake. If something is actually true, how would we actually know? The only authentic thing about her is her love for her children.

Which is a shame, because she is so authentic and I’m so tired of her running away and not actually being real.

No, she is genuine friends with Garcelle off the show. 
Garcelle doesn’t always defend Sutton, she actually calls Sutton out and understands Sutton’s fault. Sutton is still close friends with Crystal and boy did that get off to a really bad start.

Sutton is so desperate for Kyle’s friendship which is beyond both me and Garcelle.

Agreed. I think sometimes there are clear work friends, like Kyle and Erika. IRC, they get along well during filming but don't hang out outside of work. Sutton and Garcelle are definitely buddies when there camera isn't rolling. 

Regarding Kyle's status as a Housewife, part of why Kyle made a great anchor (like her or not) is because she initially fit what the franchise was supposed to be about-housewives! Kyle had a handsome husband, cute young kids, and her day-to-day was Mauricio and the girls. It wasn't about her career or tying to find love or planning future babies. Now she's separated, and all her kids are grown except for Portia, who will be leaving the nest soon too. 

I'm single and have no kids myself, and single, childfree people often have the most excitement. So not knocking women in any category. But it did get a little strange once they started hiring women who had never even been married or had kids or been anything close to a housewife.

Instead of "the Real Housewives of" whatever city, it became more the sometimes real, oftentimes plastic and phony grifter ladies who live near whatever city.

I think so to. Remember when she took her whole family (sans Mauricio) to get Portia's ears pierced? It was like a whole thing. Kyle was so stressed out. In the earlier seasons, Kyle was pretty much in every scene. It was her and LVP. That was a fun dynamic while it lasted. 

Why did Kyle stop drinking? Did she ever say?

Dorit has an interrupting problem. To be kind. At Ericka's housewarming, Ericka was explaining how she felt about getting put in the hot seat when her shit blew up, and Dorit jumped right in. The look on Ericka's face was anger/annoyance, but very obvious. Dorit really doesn't nail it with social interactions. It's almost a little weird that she hasn't figured it out by now.

I don't think Dorit and PK's "break" is fake. As long as Dorit keeps begging PK to take her back, PK will happily hang out in his tiny apartment and throw some bones here and there. Who knows if they will actually file or not. 

Of all the shows, I have to say this city has the best kids. Kyle's daughters are lovely. Dorit's kids are so sweet and cute. Garcelle's boys are pretty awesome as well. Of course, Boz's daughter probably is the most amazing kid ever to appear on this franchise. They are all respectful and kind.

Weird to me that the wives automatically get to stay in the house while the husbands have to get small apartments. Of course, it makes the most sense logistically, not disrupting the kids and the men were traveling a lot anyway. Guess it’s the different tax bracket cuz here with the poors, the one who cheated is usually kicked out, usually the man, who will fight tooth and nail to get full custody & the house to avoid paying support.  If no one cheated, it’s whomever asked for the divorce first that usually leaves. But they’re rich so I guess it’s not a hardship when you need to start all over again in a new residence.

Also weird to me is the Dorit and Ericka friendship. Ericka usually follows the money. And Dorit is such a drip. She has no sense of humor and is all about herself.  I don’t see them hanging out and having some laughs together. But then who is left? Kyle dips in and out these days, has her own thing going on. Garcelle is too much a straight shooter and with Sutton questioned her too hard. Boz is up Dorit’s rear. And Jennifer is new and tough to read.
