Those kids at her school certainly talk. Cole is great, but Adam is her dad and the whole town knows it.

Aubree has been on the show her entire life, so it's probably a somewhat "normal" thing for the same kids she's been in school with since she started...and I think anybody with two eyes & two ears knows Cole is Aubree's father.

Chelsea has to be aware, deep down, that her lifestyle is dependent on another person (Randy or Cole, or even MTV), and though she may intellectually know she has a certificate and wouldn't be starting at level zero if something happened to them, it might be hard to believe, if that makes sense.

Her lifestyle is only dependent on MTV in the sense that all of our lifestyles are dependent on our employers. She's a reality TV star. It's a weird job, but it's hers and she makes a lot of money doing it. I'm sure she's brought more money into the household than Cole has.

At this point, I don't even know if we can say the women have no careers. They've been doing this for long enough that I think it counts as a career. Sure, it will eventually come to an end. I think some of them will struggle to transition once this is all over. I don't think Chelsea will. She seems frugal enough and they're in a low enough cost of living that she, Cole, and the kids will be benefiting from her income for years.

dear lord, the DeBoers are strange.  KEEPING THEIR KIDS AT HOME ALL DAY and not sending  them to daycare so that they can proceed to sit on their asses/drink beer/fold t-shirts/get high/torture everyone on social media?

Hahahaha nicely done! At first I didn't see where you were going with it...but yeahhhh, remember that time Jenelle claimed she was a SAHM? Hahahaha what a joke. That implies you're taking care of the kids! At least their house is clean, but david seems to do it (as he should, since he doesn't have a job either). I can't wait for the show to end, and for reality to hit the Easons in the face!!!!

That’s actually really funny. Although one can rightly criticize Chelsea for putting her kids on public social media, but I do give her credit for never posting photos of her children vomiting, sweating from fever etc. Like some “moms” on this show we all know and don’t love.

Also, at least she acknowledges that sicknesses are a fact of life, instead of pointing the finger at the sick kid like Jenelle always does!

I know! Dealing with bodily fluids isn’t fun but every living being gets sick, uses the bathroom, bleeds when injured etc. I will never understand being ANGRY with a child (or an animal even) for being a living being with bodily fluids.

That post is hilarious! It reminds me of my oldest younger sister - who can't handle vomit at all. She will start vomiting herself. So her husband has to handle all of that stuff. I have a stomach of steel (unless I'm pregnant or sick as well), so I've volunteered to come do puke duty when her husband has to work out of town. Chelsea and crew are so relatable. Their real parents - loving, but fallible.

I agree. She doesn't go on a million vacations a year. She's bought just one house. Always had a roommate, which helped with expenses. She doesn't carry/wear designer duds. And I am confident that Randylicious made sure plenty was socked away/and or invested wisely.

  • In my daughter's childhood there was no way I had time to do full make-up with eyelashes on Christmas morning. This is the one thing I don't like about Chelsea as grown up as she seems to be she sill has that superficial side.

I’m not upset at Chelsea for this. Most likely she woke up extra early with Cole to get dressed and arrange presents before the kids woke up. I understand wanting to look nice in the family photos.

I absolutely love makeup. It's fun for me. And it's "me time". I hole up in the bathroom, listen to my favorite podcast, and play with my makeup. I don't see what the big deal is, if it's something she enjoys. Granted, I did mine AFTER present opening, but I still did my makeup on Christmas day. I do it every day. I'm a SAHM. I could live in sweats and a messy bun every day if I wanted to, but I like to look nice even when never leaving the house. I just feel better, mentally, if I do. Maybe Chelsea is the same.

Yeah if it makes you feel good why not?

At least his man didn’t praise her while she sat spread eagle on a pier like David did Jenelle.  This picture is ten times better.  I didn’t notice the makeup. Just a happy family.

I hope this didn’t sound like I’m disagreeing with you because I’m not.  I’m not really good and writing what I’m trying to say. 🙃

I think doing it AFTER the present opening is the big difference.

I don’t follow- sorry. Did she get done up before or after?

I am not a mom but I assume it would be easier to get up early, arrange gifts, do hair/makeup and then when kids wake up to open gifts you are picture ready....
