The Burn Session continues and Candiace confronts Ashley by dropping a bombshell rumour; Gizelle attempts to make things right with Candiace, but her apology isn't well received.

I hope that the show picks up soon. It's missing the Potomac magic. The BS storyline of Gizelle vs. Chris and Candiace is ridiculous. Every season I start by saying I will give Gizelle a clean slate, but quickly she reminds me that I won't be on her side. Robyn acts like she has been told to give something or be reduced to friend. Without Juan, she is a friend.

Speaking of friend, The scene with Jacqueline, Mia, and Charisse was very awkward and felt produced and forced. On the cast trips, I usually love the scenes where they find their accommodation and pick rooms, but even this one didn't land.

There was a line that was inserted in Ashley's scene at the lawyers and it was so off and awkward, clearly she didn't say it in that scene at that time and I don't know why they aired it like that.

Pull it together Potomac.

Gizelle is truly delusional. She wants to spin multiple stories about Chris and expects him not to respond. Ashley's vindictive spirit is why she's being played by Michael.  She needs to focus more on her own life and leave Candiace’s alone.

Mia promised the ladies a luxurious stay on South Beach and got them an airbnb in a residential neighborhood that can't accommodate everyone? She's always boasting about being rich, the least she could have done was book a hotel.

The house was on the water, but not in South Beach, and it was not large enough for everybody. HWs normally stay for two or three days at a vacation spot, and maybe a little longer on foreign trips. Bravo couldn't afford anything better?

At first I thought you were talking about their scene at the nail salon. I didn't watch the first seasons of Potomac so I don't know how Charisse interacts with the other ladies, but it was interesting how she would look at Mia with a half smile and deadly eyes.

Mia loves Charisse right down to her bad eyelashes. Lol. Why is Charisse on? She doesn’t add anything to the show.
Are they going to keep this Chris rumor going all season? I get Candy is mad but she didn’t need to respond with another Michael rumor. He’s gross and I don’t want to hear about him. Ashley should be embarrassed admitting she has to do threesomes to keep him around. That’s who she chose to father her kids. Good luck getting any $ out of him.

They forced Brandi to sleep on a pull out couch for 7 days for girls trip … I mean bravo does it for drama

I was talking about the nail salon scene. I think that's where they were. I tuned out at that point. It was giving Gizelle and Robyn told Mia to invite Charisse to as many of her scenes as possible. I see how it looked like I was talking about where they were in the house.

I forgot that Bravo pays for these trips. I'm 99.9% sure that Bravo's budget is big enough to afford a nice hotel/airbnb in South Beach. I'm guessing Candiace told production that she wouldn't be there for most of the trip because she was filming her new TV show. That's the only thing that makes sense to me.

She doesn’t pay as the show does.  The lack of bedrooms is totally deliberate by the producers who want tension over the rooms to be part of the storylines. They always have some kind of drama over the rooms. Last season Robyn and Gizelle had an upstairs room with no bathroom and they left because gizelle was in a cast.

The hosts are all fake and the producers decide who will host and where they will go althiugh the women can make suggestions. Of course if there is some place like bluestone manor then it will probably be visited because it has become a thing

And yet there she is giving legal advice on television, which completely waives attorney client privilege.

Gizelle's plot against Chris is so half baked that I have to wonder if it's something she just slapped together the night before filming started, not wanting to show up empty handed. One of the things I like about Potomac is that the drama often seems more natural than it does on other Housewife shows, but so much of this season so far feels overly manufactured.

Don't the producers call the housewives a few weeks/months in advance to get their future plans to build storylines and to outline filming schedules? Gizelle told her producers that she wanted to lean into this mess this season and obviously ran it over with Robyn/Ashley/Mia. Premeditated.

She wasn't really giving any kind of private legal advice that would need to be kept confidential so privilege really isn't relevant.

For all practical purposes, she could have been giving a lecture to women on the general rules of divorce.

Did anyone actually *learn* anything they didn't know.

When Ashley is actually really consulting with an attorney and discussing strategies and finances and the best tactic for negotiation that would NOT be on camera nor will Ashley ever discuss it.

Charisse said she sleeps naked, I would be wearing pj's if I were her, it just never seems to be a good idea to be caught with your pants down with any of the HW's.

Mia thinks her planning, house choice etc...is good, Karen's room is an alcove with frosted sliding doors that does not offer privacy or quiet, Robin and Gizelle are sharing a room but at least they have an ensuite, all the other women are sharing one bathroom? Mia said something about one of the bathrooms has two showers, who is going to shower with a buddy there?

Are they in Miami Beach or Brickell/the City of Miami?

Definitely NOT Miami Beach.  Miami Beach looked really far from their backyard when the producers did the red arrow thingy to show us where MB is.  LOL.  Shade!!

Gizelle was still bitching because she wanted her own bathroom because Robin poops twice in the morning. Yeah, she actually said that. These women. Listen, I snore. I wouldn't want to subject anybody else to that and have them lose sleep because of me so I would have to have my own room. I also like the TV on all night!

I can't figure out why they brought Charisse back. She shows us nothing of her life. Where does she live now? What is her home like? Is she dating? Maybe she is just a friend of so not necessary to let us in. She is also one of the most unattractive women on any housewives show. Ugly wig, ugly face, overweight. May sound harsh but she is on a show with beautiful women and we want to see glamour pusses. I don't need to see a regular real world, everyday aging woman. I can look in the mirror for that!

He did a live last night.  Basically after the reunion he ran into Gizelle at the snack table and decided to answer her "what's wrong?" question. They went to her dressing room and he let her know he did not like her ganging up on Candiace when she's supposedly her friend. He told Candiace about the conversation. Candiace was surprised about Gizelle's implications, not about Chris having a conversation with her.

Girl, they are just using you. They are never going to let you sit at their raggedy-ass table.

Hell Gizelle let us know that Juan is not on the deed and Robyn poops a lot in the morning. This is how she treats her "friends".

Karen might be the oldest but Charisse is the one giving total old-lady energy. She can not match the energy or glamor of the other castmates.

I did notice that Wendy probably has the most natural-looking boob job when she is not cinching her breasts all the way up to her eyebrows.

In comparison, Charisse's' boob job just makes her look overweight and dowdy, Mia's breasts look hard and probably do not look great if she is not wearing something skin-tight.

Michael Darby likes to suck dick.  What a surprise...said no one ever.

Sorry, Ashley, we all know what is going on in your marriage and it is much more than threesomes with other women.

The real question is how Candiace knows a high-end male escort that services both men and women.

My guess is that sometimes Miss Dorothy uses him for dates.

The Chris storyline is just going to make the women look stupid as they all pile on about how "uncomfortable" he makes them feel. Robyn is also going to look stupid claiming she is not a fighter when she loves to bully people who are smaller than her.

- While I'll never believe that Chris attempted sneaky-linking with any of the cast, I'm really going to need Chris to fall back and stop auditioning for his own champagne flute. He's starting to give Peter Thomas energy, and I AIN'T here for it.

Chris's actions have often been contradictory. He knows his wife. That's why I hated watching him in past seasons try to play up to Ashley and others about Candiace's attitude to try to keep the peace. He should save that for home. Explain to his wife -- patiently and dispassionately like she is a child -- why her outbursts and butter knife-wielding might not be the best look. Why does he constantly feel the need to talk about his 35 year old wife with others? Usually in an apologetic manner? Or, even in this case, feel the need to demand apologies from the cast on her behalf?

There's nothing wrong with a man protecting his wife, but other than the Monique incident, there is no danger to Candiace, and therefore, no reason for Chris to interfere. If he's not apologizing for her, he's having secret meetings. BOTH behaviors need to stop.

- I don't feel so bad now about calling Charrisse "Auntie Cha Cha" since her return. Despite there only being about a decade difference in our ages, she looks like my mother's 69 year old contemporary (Karen also shares that space in my head). Did Cha Cha really buy a new rack? Or is that just weight gain? Whatever the case, it's not a good look. Her titties enter the room before she does, and they're all I can see during her scenes.

- When Mia, Charrisse and Mia's friend met up, I forgot that Mia was the castmate whose scene I was following. Despite Charrisse's botched look, she still has housewife energy to me. She just needs a three-month detox, refresh, and re-wigging for her to be camera-ready again. Mia has always given me plastic energy inside and out. I just don't care about this woman. I don't even dislike her. I just don't care.

If you gon be a crazy pants pathological lying villain, Mia, come all the way through and turn up. Give me Taylor from RHOBH, or RHONJ's Danielle Staub or RHOA's Phaedra realness! I'll even take a little messiness, a la RHOBH's Brandi or the complete tone-deaf antics of my hated favorite RHONY's Ramona. Do something, Mia. Anything that might make you -- and the show by extension -- interesting.

Mia is confusing drama with her affected mannerisms. The 24/7 simpering, hand-waving, hair tossing, strutting, and mannered speech are annoying and unbearable to watch.

Gizelle looked beautiful in her long black cardigan, jeans and beret.

Someone called him out on Twitter for always publicly siding/being friendly with people who don't like his wife. He actually admitted that he was wrong. He also acknowledged on his live that Candiace only gave Ashley another chance because he kept telling her "Ashley isn't that bad", knowing that Candiace wanted nothing to do with her after she wrote that statement in season 5.

Gizelle and Ashley have never liked Candiace. They are not friends. Who is he instruct them to be nice? He's not a producer.

Another shout-out to you @spunky for always being on the Housewives case!

THIS is my main beef with this man. As I've said before, I love to see men who have their wives back. Love, love, love to see it. But Chris has shown all too often that he DOES NOT have Candiace's back. I'm glad that he finally sees his error. I hope he stops reprimanding Candiace on camera. He was dead wrong for sidling up to Gizelle off camera -- and now he's having to pay for that mess.

Gizelle's main grift on this show is being a producer-plant and an instigator, and Chris has given this fool her storyline for this season. Chris and Candiace should have treated Giz the way Karen is circumventing Charrisse -- with cold indifference.

It reminds me of the storyline that drove RHOBH's Denise off the show. After Brandi told the crew that they'd slept together, Denise said it never happened. Maybe it did. Maybe it didn't. But if she'd shrugged it off, therefore denying those diamond-encrusted wildebeests a storyline, there would have been nowhere for them to take it. A literal shrug and a laugh was all it would have taken. Denise's histrionics is what sunk her. It upset me badly because Denise and Garcelle and their natural, casual beauty was all that kept my attention that season. They were great together.

The sad thing is I don't think Chris means any real harm. Whatever I may think of his relationship with Candiace, I've never had the impression that he's trying to "play" her. I've seen that happen a few times on these shows (Apollo rang every bell for me on that score, as did Peter "Peach" Thomas, and now I'm waiting to see what Todd's gonna do...) But now I'm starting to wonder about Chris's true motivations in this.

Honestly I like them as a couple.  However I agree they are codependent and he has some insecurities. I think he's insecure about the fact that he has ADD and he knows that Candiace protects him by trying to "manage" his symptoms,  while managing her own mental health. For example when Dorothy said he doesn't pay any bills. Candiace admitted on her podcast that she manages their finances, because he's easily distracted and he'll forget to pay their mortgage and other bills. So she doesn't give him that responsibility. She just made it sound like he has a million things going on and is just absent minded.

I think he just wants to be accepted by everyone and can't tell that these people don't really care for him or his wife. As I said in another reply he has ADD, so understanding social cues are most likely a struggle for him. I think that's why Candiace goes so hard for him.

I'm going to take a "wait and see" approach on Chris from here on out. Is ADD akin to autism or other issues that make social interaction difficult for the person diagnosed? I'm not being shady; I really don't know. Because if not, Chris, a man in his 40s with three children, should have learned years ago to always back your wife in a public setting. Even if she is a damned fool sometimes. I would be the first person clapping if secret tapes dropped of Chris getting Candiace all the way together in the privacy of their own home. I just want him to stop doing it while his wife's biggest instigators look on in delight.

Auntie Kern has been so quiet this season. I'm starting to believe that rumor about Charrisse attempting to bring her down. If true, I hope Karen continues politely sidestepping Cha-Cha each time she enters a room. I wouldn't let a chick re-earn her flute on my back either. People come for me all the time. They just don't find me!

ADD- is ADHD without the hyperactivity.  So he has what used to be called Attention Deficit Disorder.  Like ADHD, some of the symptoms are impulsive behavior,  inability to asses the negative consequences of their actions,  starting multiple hobbies/ventures and not following through, difficulty focusing etc, having difficulty in social settings and picking up on social cues etc. Apparently the diagnosis for what was ADD, is now inattentive-type ADHD.  I hope this helps.

Back to the show ...

Here's hoping the Bassett-Dillards have a robust exit strategy from Bravo because Gizzy's chess game is on point and she WILL win this war.

Help me  - I  missed a big background fact : The lawyer in the white suit - which I am guessing is an attorney hired by ashely to represent her - asked if there was a prenup.

I didn't hear (tv/recording issue/jump) her response. All I heard "last month"...  what did she say ?? wouldn't it made some sense to bring the document with you?

I see Charisse found a better wig. and curling iron.. and a different color.  👏

Robyn bought out again the GOOD wig...at the store that supposedly sells clothes for 25 yr olds (Giz claims to want to look like she's 25 in Miami

Grand Dame had a paper ticket/boarding pass... yep she's an PITA...

Jesus Lord, make it stop. The mental gymnastics for this Ne'er-do-welll are epic. Maybe he can cut back on the brown liquor and all day golf.

I wouldn't be surprised if at the end of this season they announce that she's leaving to focus on her music, acting and starting a family. After she reads both Gizelle and Ashley the riot act the reunion.

You read my mind. I saw pics of her looking glammed up at the Soul Train Awards and I thought the same thing. I hope she's able to walk away from the show without a thought. Everybody wins: Candiace moves on while doing what she loves. The viewers who find her energy so distasteful will be thrilled to see her go.

Gizelle works so hard during the season because she is terrible at the reunions. She and Robyn need to start preparing now.

Agree.  I am past tired of the who is in which room, how many rooms there are, how any toilets there are, is this a twin/queen/king/air mattress. Damn, these are grown women. And I agree - this isn't college. Find an hotel, on the higher star end with accommodations, and book one complaining-woman per room. Period.

Now I did think the airbnb was on a beach... I see a body of water - granted it might not be the Atlantic - behind it.

I don’t get why Charisse is on. She says she needs to go get her own hotel room, fine I get it but she is supposed to be interacting with the cast. She looks bad this season. The huge boobs aren’t flattering  Robyn said she’s more like the real Grand Dame but I don’t see it. Even when she was on full time, she didn’t have a lot going on. Does she still live in her home that she filmed in?
I still like Rob and Gizzy. They may be reaching this season but I find them entertaining.
Trashley looked like an idiot running around with Candiaces card. She should have chosen to team up with Candiace instead of against her. They would have been a decent team against Rogizzy.

I agree. A Candiace and Ashley team against the GEB is what I have been hoping for since season 3. No way it happens now unfortunately.

Someone on Twitter said it looked Biscayne Bay, which according to Google is a lagoon. I just want Bravo to get it together with these cast trips.

Ashley looked like an idiot multiple times during this episode, especially when Gizelle and Robyn were laughing in her face about the tea that was spilled.
