I think that might have been the plan when filming started, but Puddy’s nephew is already filming the new season, and by next season, Michael will be old news.  I think this means he leaves with someone…hopefully Danielle, which took him out of the running.

There was a rumor going around that the producers originally wanted a man with a child for the next bachelor season and were looking at Michael and Nate. But Michael may have had some issues with his business that supposedly turned the show away from considering him and Nate had the negative stories come out about his past relationships so they went with Zach instead.🤷🏻‍♀️

I don't know why the producers care so much about keeping Michael on the show that they brought Danielle on just for him. They didn't even try to create any suspense by having her talk to any of the other unattached men. I'm really tired of him trying to get mileage out of his wife's death.

I lost respect for Casey when he decided that the best way to get a rose was to tattle on Peter to Brittany. I think the fainting was staged so that he could save face a little bit by not being eliminated at the rose ceremony.

All those tears were for naught. The girls got the better end of this deal, they have new guys, a pool and most importantly ac.

And from what little I could see of the new guys in the previews, they're much better looking than the current guys. Whereas of the new women, I think only Eliza is an upgrade from the current ones. Jessenia and Sarah have dull personalities, Kate looks like a ventriloquist's dummy when she speaks, and what's-her-name from Australia looks like a hard-living 50-year-old.

Okay, after sleeping on it and thinking back to what the women were saying last night when they were having their breakdowns, it was kind of funny. Serene knew she had this locked down, so she’s all like, “I know Brandon would leave with me.” This gives Victoria the brilliant idea, “Yeah, let’s go and make them leave with us now!” (Bitch, I didn’t even remember Johnny was your man until we saw you watching him “surf.”) And then the best part was Jill wailing, “[Whatever the Tarzan guy’s name is] won’t leave with me!! It’s only been three daaaaaays!” All of this over a “relationship” of three days!! And you know this “week” apart will also only be three days. All the women are in full-on mutiny that they’re just going to go home. The fact that the show won’t let them leave, is this like kidnapping or unlawful imprisonment or something?

At least she has some people around who like her this time.

I dont remember this can anyone explain?

I remember it, too. He gave her a very long goodbye kiss that looked romantic, but he talked about her like they were just friends. Made me wonder if she had hooked up with Wells in Nashville. I  guess this won't be brought up since Wells is married now.

Brittany was on Matt's season but was 1 of 5 women who were brought on half-way through (along with Michelle Young). So everyone was throwing daggers at the new women anyway but this one woman, stank faced Anna, said she'd heard of Brittany since they both lived in Chicago (because that's such a small city, right?) and heard that she was an escort. She kept telling more and more of the women, who then iced Brittany out, until Katie Thurston finally told Matt about it. Anna went home at the next rose ceremony, but Brittany didn't last much longer. It was very sad to watch.

And Anna was punished for her actions by being invited to Paradise, where I assume she used that smile of hers to filter the hell out of some krill.  Why the producers chose to air the whole escort storyline is a mystery.

I remember Danielle but I don't remember her having a bubbly personality like she does this time around. I remember a very raspy, quiet voice.

I feel like it was wayyyy too convenient how Michael and Danielle happened, especially right before the rose ceremony when he was about to go home. They said they never met in person but obviously the show knew they had spoken in the past and it was obvious that he was using Sierra as a way to wait for her, like the Brendan and Pieper situation with Natasha in the middle. As soon as she came, he was like whew Danielle's here and she didn't even entertain any of the other guys. This show has become very calculated with who couples up and I doubt any of them didn't zero in on who they wanted before they came on the show. And I know that's unavoidable because of social media but it's becoming a little much with how obvious it is.

Also, their entire date they talked about their losses and deaths and he was like.. this date was so much fun! Yeah.. sounded like it lol

I'll be honest, I liked the part with Victoria watching Johnny surf, it was sweet.

Of course, the show ruined that.

BIP is trying to be Love Island now?  It's so cynical.  The show brags and brags about creating all these couples and children, etc.  This format will only serve to destroy that.  BIP is just admitting they don't give a shit about love, they just want drama, crying, ratings.

I already knew that about their Bach and Bachelorette franchises, but now this too.  I don't know, just makes me grumpy.

Are we supposed to just pretend that Michael wasn’t attached to Sierra by the lips for the last 5 episodes?

Sure looks like he used her as a place marker until Danielle arrived. She should have just stayed and given her rose to someone else trying to extend their stay.

She came in near the end, had a brief thing with James, but no one gets between him and Aaron (I'm talking to you, Genevieve). It was mostly un-memorable except their one date was them getting massaged with snakes.

Seems about right for Anna. She can go away now.

One thing in Michaels favor is that he told Sierra that he wasn’t going to get to the place emotionally with her, that she was hoping for, before going to the rose ceremony and taking the rose under false pretenses. He just tossed the impending rose to the side and didn’t follow thru with a charade of caring more than he did. That is something a lot of the people do there to continue their time in paradise and is an act of low character as we all see all the time on this show. I wonder if production told him that Danielle was coming before the rose ceremony and to hold out for a little longer. If so, I still can’t think too badly of him. Honesty is a rare trait during these weeks of filming with people desperate to stay and using others as stepping stones to keep their margarita glasses filled while basking on the beach for another day, waiting for the next sucker to descend the stone steps of entrance into the world of Bachelor Nations arena of instant insanity.

The smart way to play this stay on the beach game would be to quickly assess whether or not there is someone there who you are truly interested in, but if not, make a rose pact with someone who also isn’t feeling it for anyone present at the time, but hope to stay and suss out the new batch that are trickling in. The trouble with that is that so many of the women are hit with that frantic gotta find true love right this very moment mentality, or become highly offended if not deemed drop dead desirable to any man they have more than a quick passing  “hi, how are you” conversation with. Some guys do that too, but mostly the women. Most of these people should be forming those pacts on the down low. There’s usually only one Brandon and Serene couple out of all of them each season.

I hope Casey is going to be alright. I wonder what happened to him so suddenly. He didn’t seem overly intoxicated before he mentioned that he was feeling dizzy and fell.

Agree about Michael. He could have faked it until he got the rose, but he didn’t want to draw it out when he realized how invested she was getting.

I think he did that because he has an image to protect. He is known as the "aw shucks" good guy on this show and if he had taken a rose just to dump her soon after, he would have come off as an asshole. I think production gave him a heads up that Danielle would be coming to save him the next episode. This show does nothing by accident. Every time someone says " I wish there were someone else that would come now," there someone comes.

I did too, until I remembered that the "prize" was Shenae.  Actually, I don't think either guy was that into her beyond securing another rose and while she liked the attention, she didn't seem that into either of them.  I would have preferred that James stayed over Logan, but my cynical side thinks Shenae picked him because he would be less desirable to newcomers and therefore more likely to stick with her.  Too bad she didn't know how he "switched" bachelorettes midstream and was rumored to hook up with someone else offscreen while filming.

This "twist" is so cringy, especially after so many speeches about how Parade is all about "finding true love" and such, when clearly this whole twist exists just to create more drama. Its why Jessie's last speech was all about "you'll never believe the drama" instead of the usual "watch us look for love", which is honest at least. I know that this show has always been about the drama, but its just gotten worse over time.

Danielle was clearly brought on to be with Michael so they could bond over their deceased finances/spouses, but I still thought that their talk was really nice, they did really seem to connect on a level beyond wanting someone to suck face with who will let them stay on the beach. We'll see how long that lasts though...

Poor Brittany, she cant go anywhere without people making up mean stories about her. First its mean girl Anna telling everyone that she was a hooker and now its asshole Pete telling everyone she's fake and is only here for the internet fame. Brittany seems nice enough, why is this always happening to her?

I was surprised when someone said that they've been there for three days, is that really how long its been? I feel like these people have been screaming and crying into their mojitos for about a decade.

Finally finished watching last nights' episode this afternoon....how mean spirited and manipulative of the show to send the girls off to another location, let them see the new incoming girls taking their places AND yet fail to tell them that they would also be given new men to interact with! No wonder there has been talk of cast members starting to speak out against the show.

Danielle's contrived arrival.....have we ever had a cast member come into the show minutes before a rose ceremony? How was she supposed to make a decision on who to give her rose to unless she already had knowledge of at least one of the men?

I wonder if we'll find out about how Casey broke his ankle.

I'm disappointed we aren't seeing much with Victoria and Johnny. I figured she would be more interesting in this setting. And I was curious to learn more about Johnny.

Okay, it just occurred to me that I bet Michael was “supposed to” accept Sierra’s rose, and then Danielle was going to come in with the group to tempt him away. But Michael threw the show for a loop by rejecting Sierra first, but the show already had Danielle waiting in the wings for their pre-existing, but not in-person love connection. So they just let Danielle come in right before the rose ceremony rather than with the temptresses the next morning because they didn’t want to waste what the show perceived as one of their best chances for an engagement.

Sorry, it won't link for me. I'm glad they know people didn't like their "story". Seriously,  they're not having sex, so the solution is to go to Mexico to be on a reality show to talk on camera about how having a child interferes with their sex life? NOBODY CARES.

I'm guessing that Logan and the other men from the Gabby/Rachel season who turned up at BiP probably told their new cast mates all about their experiences on the Bachelorette.

I agree with those who think Shanae moved from one guy to the next based on how much Bachelor Clout she thought they had. The shrimp-lover certainly has been through a lot of the cast already and we are far from finished yet! Although she is behaving differently here on BiP than she did on Clayton's season she is a scheming man-eating clout-chasing character! The producers must have loved Shanae!

Logan could have told her how he made it as far as the cruise, was allowed to switch bachelorettes and whatever version of his exit story he is allowed to relate (we never did hear about his alleged battle with COVID). That info would place him higher on the food-chain than James!🤣

I'm sure Tyler also informed the BiP group that he was one of Rachel's final four. Shanae had no problem accepting his date invitation despite her insistence that she missed Logan.

The clout was probably the most important thing to Shanae. If she only wanted to make visits to the boom-boom room then I don't know why she didn't grab the hot Australian dude or Alex the hunk from Rachel Lindsey's season!🙃

It certainly seems like Michael is getting special treatment...almost like he has a sub-plot of his own with different rules in place. He gets the girl he wanted and the date card, and then the pair of them are allowed to skip the big switch.

Yeah, Michael pulled the “it’s not you, it’s me” excuse with Sierra, but then stayed, while she left, but he’s one among many men that do not have the guts to just be honest and say he’s just not feeling that spark. It’s such a hard thing to do when someone really likes you, like Sierra, did him.

He also has put a lot of thought into what kind of woman he would need to come into his life after losing his wife and dealing with the tsunamis of grief he obviously still has hitting him every time he brings her up. He says the person he might be able to connect with would have to be “scarred” emotionally, and I get that.

He’s had to face having a WHOLE new aspect of who he is now, the part that was shattered and flattened into the dirt of the bottomless pit of overwhelming agonizing pain. The part he had to scrape up off the ground and meld it somehow into his old self, accept it and feel able to carry that burden and walk out into the world he has to live in without letting that other half rule him. Assimilate this whole new horribly sad new part of himself that never existed before. The part of him that died when his wife died. An unwelcome brand new aspect of himself that he can never run and hide away from and deny its existence.

He’s done some deep thinking about this and I hand it to him for that.

As a dad its so important for him to really think long and hard about any woman he brings into he and his sons world. I personally think he hasn’t moved past the hardest part of his grieving process yet and isn’t ready for a new romantic relationship yet.  I’m glad he’s hooked up with Danielle who knows, has a clue, about what he’s talking about and has the deep emotional scars to bear also.  He can feel comfortable with her because she has the understanding of this, where the other beach goers haven’t got a clue. Danielles fiancé dying from suicide,, whoa, thats a whole nother level of grief assimilation to bear. This could work out for Michael and Danielle. Both members of that club nobody wants to be a part of.

but then you get to the part where he leaving his kid for a reality show. sorry. thats where my sympathy stops
