Callaphera September 2, 2022 Share September 2, 2022 Welp, they already got the backyard so speculation is that it's Hide and Go Veto this week. Which is hilarious because it's a crapshoot Veto and one that Michael could actually lose... but it doesn't matter this week because he's HoH anyway. It could also be a basement comp or a quick backyard set up, of course, but I miss Hide and Go Veto. It’s one thing insulting someone for something they can control, like showering, but their looks? Not nice, Zingbot.) Monte and Terrance seem overwhelmed by Michael. They don’t know how he can be stopped, he just knows the game too well. They are also stunned at the way he came compbeasting out of the gate and never stopped. It’s not supposed to be that way, you’re supposed to lay low at first. Monte is really pissed off about the withholding of Kyle information, too. He finds it very insulting that Michael and Brittany would claim there was no game component to that. Terrance is plotting his revenge in the jury house. Monte just hopes that if Michael goes to the end, there’s someone other than Brittany next to him. 30 Helens September 2, 2022 Share September 2, 2022 The atmosphere in the HoH room is like being forced into an obligatory visit to your uncle’s house and you only mean to stay a few minutes but he starts telling boring stories and you’re stuck. In his letter, Hayden mentioned finishing his case study and Alyssa asked politely what he does for a living. Michael launched into a very long and scientific description of Hayden’s dermatology research, and the paralyzed look on Alyssa’s face was hilarious. Later, someone makes a joke about demanding to talk to the manager, and the question is posed: Who has done that in real life? Nobody! Taylor says actually, yes I have. Lady Calypso September 2, 2022 Share September 2, 2022 So, not surprised at the revelation that Terrance is wanting to turn the jury against Michael. I do think Michael put himself in a very difficult spot to win, even if he comps out. I don't necessarily blame the jury if they don't vote for him, because Michael ruined his jury management a bit with this move. That being said, Terrance IS being bitter and I doubt he has that much power to turn the jury against Michael. This week, Michael doesn't particularly have a good choice. If he turns on Monte, he absolutely makes sure nobody votes for Michael in the end because that's such a betrayal. Even knowing Monte/Michael are both coming for each other, after his move last week, I think taking out Monte might be worse. Monte COULD make sure the jury doesn't vote for Michael in the end. Taking out Turner means he goes back on what he promised Turner which, yes, would lose a jury vote. But getting rid of Turner eliminates a comp threat for Michael, eliminates Turner/Monte's bond, and helps get him a bit farther. Taking out Terrance? Well, I mean, Terrance is bitter anyway so I do think this is his best plan. But it's just another jury member who will ensure Michael's slimy move is well known. I do think Michael could still win, absolutely, especially if he has to comp to the end. And Michael is a good speaker, so he'd be able to explain his moves in the end. But he's made it a harder path so we'll see how he navigates the DE next week. I think if Monte goes in the DE, he's set for the endgame. 3 4 Link to comment

OK seriously, what is up with these kids? Is it that BB deliberately recruits the dumbest players they can find? Or does this speak to something deeper about the American education system? It seems like maybe they don't teach geography or history anymore. Quote Jasmine and Joseph are going to be really angry and they won't appreciate how Michael withheld that information until it was beneficial to his own game. I really don't understand anyone's obsession with this, as if Michael wouldn't have been accused of this even if he spilled the very same day he first heard Kyle say something. There was never going to be a good time for Michael to risk his game by revealing this info about Kyle. And ultimately - as we are seeing now - this did not benefit Michael's game. It benefited Taylor and it benefited Monte, because one of them would have been evicted instead of Kyle. People seem to be really fixated on how Machiavellian Michael was with his "timing" but he and Brittany were both safe so he really didn't need to risk his game for either of them. He could have just kept his mouth shut and nominated Kyle the next time he won HoH. I really don't see Michael as the villain here. Edited September 2, 2022 by iMonrey 6 8 15 Link to comment

I suspect in F2 Michael will admit it, but until then he's gonna win every comp you put him front of him. Which I admire when you are legit in danger and only hate when you part of a steamrolling alliance and it only adds to your overall dominance of the game. Also like someone else said it's not so much that Michael is that great, its that the rest of these people haven't even really tried to drill/practice to beat him. Laziest game playing Hammies ever. HurricaneVal September 2, 2022 Share September 2, 2022 It's the complete lack of intellectual curiosity that gets me. I mean, Kyle blathered on about his friend in Prague, and wonders where that is, or if it is a country or city, and he never once bothered to even Google it? He's obviously thought about it once or twice, but never took the next step of whipping out his phone, or popping open a browser window while editing twerking videos, and entering "Prague" or "Prog" into a search engine? We live in an amazing age, don't we? Growing up, we had a Funk and Wagnall encyclopedia set sitting on shelves at the end of the hall. My mom would pick up a new volume every other week with the groceries. I think it took a year to get the full set. Anyways, if you had a question about anything, the answer was to "go down the hall." Today, I don't even have to go to that much effort. In Kyle's case, I think it is a lack of intellectual curiosity combined with total self-absorption. 22 Link to comment
