That group shot.  Yikes.  Is that supposed to be front row at a fashion show?  I don't get it.  I thought I was supposed to see people sitting front row at a fashion show and they were supposed to be all flawless, sleek and shiny and I was supposed wish my curly hair would straighten and that I could afford gucci over gap.  THIS is now considered the A list crowd for fashion?

I'm glad it wasn't just me, Katy Perry's shoes? WTF???? Miley's "dress", another WTF? and did all the females grease up their legs before they left the house? I've got a joke bouncing around in my head for that one, but I'll let you all figure it out yourself.

Anyhow, those pictures are one hilarious trainwreck after another. I saw somewhere else why Kanye never smiles. He launched into a story about finding a book (when he was recording Yeezus) that was from the 1800s (covered in velvet, no less!) and everyone in its pictures were all very serious looking. He said it looked "cool," if I remember correctly.

 

And then he launched into a bunch of bullshit about everyone could do fashion (which, maybe I kinda agree with, especially after seeing these pictures) and then started equating fashion to love, and love to God and all this stuff I couldn't follow. It was classic Kanye stream of consciousness crap.

 

I still believe he and his wife would be so much more attractive if they smiled, however, if he can carry his philosophy about the 1800's over to Kim's selfie habit, I'll take the not smiling any day.

Rihanna dropped last night a new song thats a collab with Kanye and Paul McCartney.  This is pretty bad..and it will probably be a huge hit because its Rihanna.  And apparently Paul co-produced Kanye's upcoming album so there's lots more of these two on songs together.

 

eta:  Kanye and Kim at the BET Honors show last night.  Good lord. Who's funeral were they going to? I wish a body language expert would touch on why they always look so miserable together.

Good grief! Kanye looks better than her, it looks like she's wearing a hijab except her head isn't covered and her dress is skin tight, showing skin and Kim doesn't have a modest bone in her body.

This is awesome....well if it's true, you know, the part about spending time with each other AND their child. She knows they love their phone more and FLUSHES it. OH, and a child was left alone near water? Nice parenting.

Lol, the reason people in the 1800's didn't smile in photographs was because you had to sit still for a minute in order for the camera to take the picture. Even the slightest movements would result in a blurred photo, that's why everyone looks so stern and miserable in old-timey portraits. I'm guessing Princess Kanye doesn't know any of that though....

I thought North looked miserable and uncomfortable in the video. She had that hesitant look on her face that babies get when they're being held by someone they don't know. Clearly neither parent spends much time with this poor child. I don't think Kanye is any better of a parent than Kim.

I thought she looked like a trained dog looking off camera at her trainer for commands. Kim must have spent time teaching her to make her "paparazzi" face.

I have NEVER been a Kanye fan.  I always thought he was a talentless asshole.  Then he yanked the microphone out of Taylor Swift's hand and removed all doubt.  As the President said:  "He's a jackass".  He's had many years in  between to redeem himself and only made himself look worse.  And I'd have never thought that was possible.  Flame me all you want but it's a good thing his mother is dead because I'm pretty sure she'd be humiliated by her sons behavior since then.

I don't see all the praise for this song. The lyrics are mediocre and I don't find it remotely emotional. The video makes no sense, he's running around like a fool ( what's with the dried white spittle on his bottom lip?) and North looks, as I posted before, like a trained dog looking off camera to her master for her next command.... "Point at daddy's shoes, " make the paparazzi face" etc

He claimed he wouldn't whore his kid out to the public and boom he goes and uses her and his dead mom for $$$$

The video was directed by Spike Jonze so I imagine Kanye was getting instructions from him as they went along. As for North, all I see is a cute little toddler on a country road with her father. I hardly think anyone was trying to "train" her to perform. She looks a bit more at ease with Kanye than she usually does with Kim, but she still has her somewhat sad and confused look, probably wondering what those strange camera people are doing and when she'll be allowed to come in out of the rain.

There are some cops in Phoenix who may be in trouble, and I'm hoping they get a good ass chewing.  Several cop cars and motorcycles escorted Kayne and Kim to the Superbowl (complete with flashing lights.....and probably speeding).  Then we wonder why they think of themselves as some kind of royalty.

iwaish, you're right.  As I understand it, providing escort service in police vehicles when they're off duty is a no no.  I wonder if Kanye paid them and, if so, I assume that would be another matter that would get them in trouble.  Off duty cops escorting people in work vehicles AND accepting money for it?

The problem is the story I read said they got illegal escorts.  From what I gather Phoenix doesnt allow non-emergency vehicles to use flashing lights and the row of cars Kim and Kanye used had red lights flashing. Celebrities are free to arrange police escorts as long as they are willing to pay up and do things on the up and up, but everything I've read about this says otherwise.

 

eta: Here is an article about it that gives the details.  If there were other celebrities who had this spectacle made I'm sure Kim and Kanye wouldnt be singled out.
