Lantern7 December 16, 2021 Share December 16, 2021 I’m impressed with Xander. He blows final IC, he gets called “blockhead” for as long as people remember. It would be about two months, but it would still hurt. Xander is 20. Feeling so old now. And he gets the Probst hug! 4 Link to comment
Miss Chevious December 16, 2021 Share December 16, 2021 Xander made a million dollar mistake when he picked Erica to sit out the fire challenge. He underestimated her and should have realized that out of the final four, she was the biggest threat. Erica wasn’t the greatest fire-maker and he discovered that beforehand so he had an opportunity to get her out. That would’ve changed the game completely. But he didn’t play his cards right. 11 Link to comment
LadyChatts December 16, 2021 Share December 16, 2021 I think I like this format better than the actual reunion show. Sucks the pre-jurors can't be there, even though they never get talked to. 5 Link to comment
dizzyd December 16, 2021 Share December 16, 2021 Even the after win show has been great because it doesn’t have all the live show distractions and it seems more personal. They should keep doing it this way, covid or not. How did they keep the results confidential though? 4 Link to comment
iMonrey December 16, 2021 Share December 16, 2021 I think Xander suffered from the perception that he was just a big doofus, whereas people have been saying all season long that Erika was "sneaky" and "dangerous." I'm not mad she won and I'm glad the jury respected her game, but I really thought Xander had just as good a game. I really misread the editing though because I was certain it was DeShawn for the win since last week. 4 Link to comment

I imagine the jury must be able to piece together how the vote went immediately after without it having been confirmed. I wonder if it had been Xander/Deshawn/Heather if Xander would have won. To be fair, he saw that if she won fire making it would tip the scales to her advantage, and the jury said out loud that was a good answer. 4 Link to comment

LadyChatts December 16, 2021 Share December 16, 2021 I like how Evvie said Shan accidentally revealed Liana's advantage to Tiffany. That was no accident, Shan purposely blabbed without thinking. 1 Link to comment
Straycat80 December 16, 2021 Share December 16, 2021 I like this reunion format better. There’s no distracting audience, family, or past players sightings. And no Sia. 1 13 Link to comment
Lantern7 December 16, 2021 Share December 16, 2021 Xander with a heckuva story. Is it wrong to say his “run face” was goofy AF? Link to comment

I think everyone will be more open and vulnerable, and not have months to sit on what happened, audience perception of them, and having all the facts of what they might have missed in the game. willco December 16, 2021 Share December 16, 2021 Ricard's face, when Liana was going on and on, like he wanted to say "Oh, shut it " ! Either that or he was really feeling that champagne :) 7 1 Link to comment
EllenB December 16, 2021 Share December 16, 2021 This format is SO refreshing! And the women didn't get assaulted by the glittery cosmetic spray gun so they're recognizable. 4 4 Link to comment
LadyChatts December 16, 2021 Share December 16, 2021 I'm sad this season is almost over. It's been a good one, and I can't wait for next season. I just hope there isn't a ton of idols and advantages. 2 Link to comment
Msample December 16, 2021 Share December 16, 2021 (edited) I wonder if they retain the 26 day format post pandemic. Cheaper, no loved ones BS, no live after party BS. Same number of episodes.revenue. I hope they keep it. Edited December 16, 2021 by Msample 5 Link to comment
LadyChatts December 16, 2021 Share December 16, 2021 I'm glad Ricard is at least willing to be openly disappointed about how his game ended. Okay, when Danny said he had a demon to release, this isn't what I was expecting. Sad story. 3 Link to comment
Maverick December 16, 2021 Share December 16, 2021 Bitter, party one. Ooops, party of two. Ricard decided to join his ego for pizza and champagne. 2 Link to comment

willco December 16, 2021 Share December 16, 2021 Danny could do radio or tv sports broadcasting or something like that, he has a very nice even tone to his voice. I wonder if he has ever been approached in that capacity ? 1 8 Link to comment
