He reminds me of my brother and his ex. Ex-Military so clearly used to be in shape, but now, somewhere north or south of 300lbs and basically none of it muscle.

Continuing with the theme of Reza's self-delusion (and hello, Shahs board, hope I'm welcome--I haven't posted about this show since TWoP) . . .

 

Don't know if this has been discussed here, but Reza's condo?  He offered himself as interior design consultant for GG, so I figured that maybe he had decent taste in that regard (despite the way he dresses).  But that place looks as if a clown car exploded inside it!  And I'm a person who likes bright colors and mixing patterns, so it's not "go beige or go home" for me.  I get the sense that he went into a Home Goods (or the overpriced L.A. version of one) and said, "Give me one of every trend that's going to look hopelessly dated a year from now, and make sure none of them go together!  Pronto!" (Or the Persian version of "Pronto!") 

 

And what kind of metallic sponge-painting disaster took place on those kitchen cabinets?

 

He may be asked to turn in his Gay Man Good Taste Card if the right people get a look at that mess.

WTF?! Reza needs to lose weight because the extra pounds make him look unhealthy and old.

Yup. Speaking from experience, extra weight will kill your looks. However, he is doing weird greasy shit with his hair, it looks like he dye's it black now and definitely lose the stache'. He would look great with a little grey running through his hair.

I guess it's their delusions about themselves that keep me watching.  I have to admit I can't wait to see how they embarrass themselves in Thailand.  Not that they're capable of embarrassment, but if they were, they would be.  You know what I mean.  ;o)

's always nice to see you, Mondrianyone, and also nice to be remembered.  Now I'm going to choke on all the nicety.  :-)

 

These people seem to have no shame.  I think it's a requirement for reality TV.  How people can watch themselves and NOT sink to the core of the earth in embarrassment is a mystery to me (and part of why I watch, too).

I've said that I don't know what Adam sees in Reza as a boyfriend, but I really don't know what the rest of them see in Reza as a friend. He is mean, vindictive, vain, selfish, shady, inappropriate, materialistic, and an all-around beady-eyed asshole. I really don't see any good qualities in him and fail to see how anyone can stand to be in his presence for more than two seconds.

Ubi it started last night.    Bravo's version of Love it or List it.   I'm willing to deal in exchange for house porn.   Upon showing two clients through the front door of a fixer upper they were interested in (they'd nicknamed it Chateau Shitty) he said "now put your stamp on it bitches" - the $2M house he'd shown them before that one was gorgeous and had fully done beautiful interiors but they wanted to create a home and it seemed like Reza kind of looked down on that because I guess it wasn't what he would've done.    Again, here for the house porn so I make no apologies putting up with him lol.  I should probably try and remember the name of the show.

I watched it, too. I promised myself I wouldn't but here I am.  First, can I just say that gay couple had the most amazing taste I have ever seen in my life!! Both of their homes and the one they renovated were spectacular. 

Second, I thought Reza was actually a decent human being on this show. He actually made me laugh a couple of times and he was a little more low key. Why can't he be that Reza on Shah's instead of the obnoxious, jealous, loud, backstabbing asshole we know?

I thought Reza was annoying on the show. I watched both episodes I was working overnight and they aired 2-4 am so it was the only thing really on as I filed sale papers on the bar. The show is really scripted and boring and Reza tried too hard to be funny but his jokes are idiotic. After an hr and half I remembered law & order of some fashion is always on so switched to an epi of criminal intent. Goren>Reza

I am with you.  I will continue to watch for the houses.  Reza is a bit restrained here, which I like, but someone needs to tell him that his use of bitches, on fleek et al is so showing how he is old and trying to keep up with the youngsters.  Ain't working.  All those terms are so many years ago.

Did they cancel that Reza show Yours Mine & Ours? I never see commercials for it anymore. What were they thinking giving that classless rude loud mouth a show on a pretty boring and predictable topic...not exactly a rating slam dunk idea.

It's also cheap knock off of Love It or List It. They don't even do the renovation. They just show the rendering. It's like watching porn where they only show the faces and there's no orgasm.

It's not called "fighting old age". It's dressing however you like, in what you like and being you. I'm NEVER going to let anyone tell me what to wear, how to color my hair (oh shit, that ryhmes! Could be a rap song! Lol) or how I apply make up. if THEY think I'm too old for whatever I'm doing, wearing or saying, FUCK OFF! As Wanda Sykes would say "Im a be me!"

Yeah, he's a disgusting person. I stopped watching after that mess with M.J. He was awful, zero compassion. That dude seriously at his core hates women. I have enough interest to check threads, but won't watch a show he's on.
