  1. I am HERE for this season. Been watching since season 1 and I honestly thought season 7 was the poorest of them all. What a return to greatness! I want a top 3 of Bob, Thorgy and Chi Chi (or Naomi Smalls. Love her too).
  2. Just look at my username... Baroque and Rococo ARE. MY. THING. And on top of that, I am Sicilian... Baroque architecture is everywhere in Sicily. Where baroque is dark, violent and extravagant, rococo is light, buoyant and playful. So disappointed in this episode. THIS is baroque: http://i.weddingomania.com/baroque-style-wedding-inspiration-1.jpg. Give me drama!
  3. Yep. I can't understand why out of EVERYONE in the world they chose to cast Cuba?! He's got zero charisma. OJ was tall, dark and handsome. He was charismatic and that's why so many people loved him. Cuba just looks goofy, and he's got this Michael Jackson voice going on. He's not a very good actor, and it's sad to me that every time he's on screen I am completely taken out of the immersion and remember, "Oh, that's Cuba Gooding Jr." in an otherwise stellar cast. And the dude playing Darden is HOT. That is all.
  4. Me too! For me the tiny sweet spot is like 500-900 square feet, the size of an apartment. To me, that is tiny living. There is no point in living in 56 square feet and bumping your damn head every morning... lol
  5. Whoever called the British couple in Italy sad sacks was right. LOL You're in southern Italy! Smile! Go to a beach! Eat some lemons! LIVE!
  6. That annoyed me too and I'm a pet owner (and my kitties are my babieeeeeees lol). I kept thinking they actually had kids! Just... a weird couple. I've also never heard someone say "doag" for "dog," even with a southern accent.
  7. Holy shit the Eindhoven couple. There was something off about them. It seemed like they were reciting lines the entire episode. I realize that HHI is not really the most realistic of shows, but come on. They sounded like wooden actors. It was jarring. I had to shut it off after they showed the first home I was cringing so hard. And the wife was so mean to her husband. The whole "it wasn't love at first sight for me" *giggle giggle* in the beginning was soooo rude. Admittedly the dude wasn't handsome but that's your husband! Be nice to him.
  8. I might be the only one, but I don't ship Rick and Michonne. It doesn't seem "real" to me. They seem like good, close platonic friends. Can't women and men just be friends? Now I have to worry about the two front runners being in a relationship, ugh. I just wanna see zombies. I liked the Rick and Daryl scenes... I wish the show had more of that, and less sex. And I'm no prude. It's just... blergh.
  9. RIP Ang. I'm so sorry she passed away. :(
  10. I've been living "tiny" all my life without realizing it! Growing up there were 4 of us (mom, dad, brother and me) in a -700 square foot NYC apartment, and it was awesome. It never occurred to me that all the apartments I like (this size or smaller) are "tiny."
  11. YES! Erika was the only one who had a great look for the party. I loved her sexy little ringmaster-esque outfit. Erika Jane is my shit! lol I also appreciate a woman with a potty mouth. Girl, we can hang.
  12. The challenge itself was SUPER cool. But the artists are so... devoid of talent. Even a talented beauty makeup artist could transform a person, no prosthetics necessary.
  13. WOW. This episode was dreadful. EVERYTHING WAS SO BAD.
  14. Yay the Netherlands! My husband is Dutch, so it's nice to see his home country on House Hunters, though you never see them go near where he is from (the south, really close to Belgium). The lady from the midwest looked like she was about to explode into tears at any second. I really felt bad for her, but then I thought... "Well, why even move? There is no rule in the universe that says you have to accept a job offer. Stay home if you're happier there!" No sympathy. Also, the whole horror of having to learn how to deal with a child without a bathtub in your home... it's such a non issue. Millions of kids around the world get raised without tubs and they're fine. The Dutch couple moving back to the Netherlands was excellent--I loved how laid back the dude was. He just wants to be near the water! My kind of dude. They made a very sensible, good choice. They recognized that the sizes of places and the amenities in the U.S. were more generous but at the end of the day what really mattered won out. One more thing: in Italy, if you ask for ice it's so hilarious because they'll come back with one or two cubes that already melt by the time they put the glass on your table! I'm Italian American and have lived in Italy for many years, and sometimes I want a little ice when it's hot out. "Posso avere un ________ con ghiaccio?" never fails to elicit the 1 or 2 cube response. :D
  15. I too want Drita to put up or shut up. Not that I want to see grown women fight but her shtick is tiring.
