@JayDub1987 your efforts on our behalf weren't WAAASTED-UH!  Sorry, that little hissy fit makes me laugh harder every time the reshow it.

I voted for this one as well, though Where's my planet? would have worked too.  He's definitely not getting his planet once Meri gets her release.   I love that for him.

I chuckled at the new title of this thread.

But after watching last night's episode, I will forever refer to Kody as "Captain Oblivious" in my mind.

That was close to one of my suggestions for the title: "Oblivious to Reality". I sometimes wonder if there is anything in there between his ears!!

I just thought of something. Maybe its been brought up and I missed it. Could it be possible Kody's little willy won't, uhm, rise to the occasion? And rather than tell *Christine he just let her leave.

*I don't believe anyone was getting any for a long while (except maybe Robin), even though Janelle said they were still intimate.

It looks like there was no sale and Kody and Robyn just took it off the market. He probably didn't get an offer at least close to what he wanted.  It's amazing to me that they can make the payments on this property.

I doubt those two ever intended on selling. They probably did it for media exposure bc they knew we'd all be talking about it.

Robyn’s house is now showing as “off market”. I can’t remember where the sale was being discussed so I’m sticking it here.

This is a common tactic before reducing the price.  The LV houses went off market for a few days or weeks (in the case of repairing broken & missing things)  before they were put back up for sale.

There are several lots for sale in Fort Valley that all have a view of that darn mountain that gets the angels singingk.

Garrison's place was recently reduced in price to $399,900.

I’d believe you if those two hadn’t been so hell-bent on keeping the cameras out of their house.
Also, they’ve obviously gone to great lengths to (sort of) declutter that house for the listing. Robyn isn’t to keen on work and loves her precious treasures too much to store them anywhere.

It’s like he never learns. Like in the Vegas sales.  First having all for Sale at one time.  And then the pricing

WOACB claims it is because of the custody suit and that Christine has an injunction keeping them from selling the house.  She also opined that Christine might be going after Kody for part of Ysabel's surgery. 🤷‍♀️

I don't know that you can't sell an asset while a child support case is going on.  Never had to experience any of that thankfully.

I think they were just asking too much for the place.  It needed some very expensive repairs including a new deck and probably plumbing fixes.  Also, I wouldn't want to deal with filling a cistern twice a month.

I don't blame Christine for wanting Kody to pay child support but I think this is not going to be good for Truly. Kody is not a good father who wants to spend time with his child and would enjoy having her live with him part time. Just the opposite. Unless I desperately needed the money I would want to protect my child from Kody and crew.  I would not want her spending time in Robyn's house if that pathetic birthday party that they had for her was any indication of how she would be treated as opposed to how the Robynettes are showered with attention and gifts at Christmas and other special days.  And Truly never acted like she was comfortable around Kody and Robyn when she was at their house.

I think Christine made the correct decision. This way it’s legal and binding. Child support will be ordered, plus 4 years retroactive, legal and physical custody will be in place. It’s been 3 years, long enough that a pattern has been established. Truely has 2 parents and both should be providing support for her.

Is this a situation where Truley will have a court appointed advocate? I believe that Christine is looking out for Truley's best interests, but it would be good to have someone objective involved also. However, I'm not sure whether this would be a case that she would have an advocate.

A guardian ad litem would be a good idea in this case.  Kody will fight Christine just to be fighting.  He would be less likely to challenge a guardian ad litem . . . especially if it were a man.

Aw, nuts.  I was having so much fun looking at all the artwork.  I still had about 17 rooms to look through.

I can't buy that they were selling the mansion to buy an even BIGGER mansion.  Who would give them a mortgage?  I want to hope that Kody and Robyn were selling because they are swimming in debt but Christine's lawsuit blocked it and now Kody is going to have to come up with even more money for child support for that little blonde girl whose name he keeps forgetting.

If Kody has to pay child support, does Truely get to decide if she wants to spend time with Kody?  Support is not contingent on visitation, is it?  Because Truely's had Kody's number since she was a toddler - probably always wondering why the scary man with weird hair only wanted to hug her when the people with big cameras were also there.

Keep in mind that having child support  and custody agreements doesn’t mean Kody will live up to them.  He doesn’t pay anything now,  he’s not likely to just because a court tells him too.  I don’t expect he sees Truely often now, or that he will show up to visit on a regular basis if there’s a regular schedule set.   Kody is the ultimate presentation of an absentee parent.  I also don’t anticipate that he would ask for extended visits for holidays or summer.  They don’t have a room for her at Kody and Robyn’s house.

Child support and custody are two separate things.  Kody doesn’t automatically get (part-time) custody if he’s ordered to pay child support.

But once it’s gone to court and the judge ruled in favor of Christine and Truley, it’s legally binding, right? That would mean that Christine is able to enforce the ruling if Kody refuses to pay. (At least, that’s how it works here.)

I tend to not take WOACB too seriously, but her claim that Christine has an injunction on the sale of the house is plausible, considering this. She probably wants to make sure he has the means to pay, whether he wants so or not.

She filed for child support and a custody agreement, so I’m not sure why you’re saying that.

The paperwork filed is standard, it’s not anything Christine requested, it’s just the way it is.

I didn't know that.  I thought she had just filed for child support, and I wanted to point out that fathers are sometimes ordered to pay child support even if they don't have custody.

I feel for Truely if Kody gets any custody and she has to travel to Flagstaff and stay with that family.  I think Kody would just be doing this out of spite.

However, he did at one point seem incredibly desperate to sell it, even reducing the asking price from $1.65 million to $949,000, according to Realtor.com®records.

Copy-pasted this from the article mentioned above. Any idea what specific records it’s referring to? Kinda curious to know whether there’s any truth in them allegedly slashing the asking price? Why would you do that?

if true, the only “reason” I can come up with, is that this idiot wants to look as broke as possible so that he doesn’t have to pay any of the OG3??

Far-fetched? Maybe. But what good would a potential profit be to him, if he has to hand it over to buy out Meri and Janelle? (Or to Christine for Truley) He certainly is petty and vengeful enough to do this.

Realtors routinely cut the prices of homes when they have been on the market for too long.  And they do things like making making it $950K instead of $1 milliion to appeal to a different market.  That way, when people or looking online and filtering out anything over a million, this one will show up.  And then they hope for a bidding war to force it back up.

I bet the flood of lookie-loos slowed to a trickle and the Realtor was forced to change course.

And I don't get what is going on with the windows, either.  It looks like they put up plywood to cover them.  They do know the hurricane was in Florida, right?

I think it's privacy glass like they have in offices. You can turn it on and off. Though why they chose yellow is beyond me.

Looks like while Sobbyn was making her daily Amazon order, she found this stuff.  Being out there in the middle of nowhere, they may have wanted something more for cutting down the heat and brightness of the sun than for  privacy.

Sounds like he just wanted it gone.  I have never seen such a huge price drop.

But then they took it off the market.  More likely that Janelle (and perhaps Meri) did "lawyer up" and Kody found out they were legally entitled to be paid back.  Probably couldn't sell it easily with a lien on it.
