I’m really new to this show so I don’t know any of the characters or relationships.....but when the one character pulled “POG” magazine from under the rack I almost did a spit take.

Glenn’s stern admonishment to the raccoons eating the cake (“Guys. Guys. Guys!”) had me rolling

Jonah causes so much trouble with his awkwardness and need to please

Nice to see Mateo trying to move forward with his life

My university has a racoon problem. It's pretty much surrounded by trees/mountains and has automatic doors, so it was not uncommon to see them in the garbage cans in the hallways. So I laughed at Glen arguing with the racoons like he was familiar with them.

I'm sad this show is ending soon. I have definitely liked it more this season without Amy than I did the last few with her. I think it hurt the show when they started focusing on their lives outside of the Cloud 9 building.

Mateo and Eric's sudden marriage talk sounds like they're laying the groundwork for Amy to show up at their wedding in the finale so she can get back together with Jonah.

Garret was also great in this episode, I liked that he stood up for Glenn.

How does Jonah get himself into pickles like that. That was a Sandra plot.

Bret with his death stare cleaning the conveyor was so funny.

What was Jonah's costume? Fishing for votes?

A canceled joke! Feelz for Glenn this episode, wanting to replace some moments for the staff. Glad Garrett recognized Glenn needed a win and for everyone to give it to him. The Garfield float was funny — I wish they’d used it in the background more. Jonah is ridiculously awkward. Can’t see him pulling anything off with the lawyer in the next few episodes — looks like it’ll be Amy or no one. Rats.

The mish mash of party decorations was so funny.

And Dina showing off the girls is always interesting.

Dina......woooaaaahhh......right there in a close up.   You're gonna break the camera!!!

I liked the party story and in the end it looked fun.  A wonderful gesture by garrett for glenn.

I don't want or care about amy and jonah. Don't know why writers force those sort of things together.  Maybe I'm just out of touch with the general audience.   I've never thought they were a good match from the pilot onward.

I kind of thought the opposite, that the lawyer gets him in a way Amy never does and she'll end up being the catalyst for him to move on and go back to school and that's how his ending will go.

Agreed. I really hope Jonah ends up with the lawyer.

I don't know what Cheyenne's halloween costume was, but she looked stunning.

Heart Eye, Heart Crown and Heart Scepter, I am guessing that Cheyenne is the Queen of Hearts.

And Dina with the "Mail" on her hat and shirt is a Mailbox so overflowing with letters it is about to explode!

Dina’s cop costume was always boldly revealing, but this? Yikes. That’s a lotta boob. It’s like a Dutch Colonial-style house where your view from the curb is the roof.

"I know she'll see it every time she closes her eyes." "Did you find some vintage COVID from April in there?" Garret was killing it this week with the one liners, even more than usual.

It seems like they are starting to set up for the show to end, especially with Mateo finally starting to plan for his future and a marriage to Eric. That's also a convenient way to get America back for the finale, where she may or may not get back with Jonah. They have been pegged by the show as end game since pretty much day one, but I really like the lawyer and she and Jonah seem to really work, so I am not totally sure on that.

The party looked weird but actually pretty fun. Cheyenne looked amazing in her costume.

Frankly I don't know why anyone would want to marry Mateo. He is unpleasant in almost every way imaginable.

I know it's just a parody but I don't think you get "high" from cleaning fumes they way you would get high from narcotics. You can certainly get light headed and dizzy and pass out but I don't think once you're out of the fumes you spend any appreciable time acting loopy like you're on drugs. I did get a kick out of Dina's reaction to the "Garfield" float though.

That might've been my favorite episode of the season. Everyone had at least one funny line. Even Tony. I especially liked the meta "cancellation" discussion.

I get the idea of Amy coming back for the wedding and reuniting with Jonah, but they could've done all that without introducing the Hannah character. So who knows?

Jonah makes me want to stab myself.

The best part was the raccoons too bad they didn't talk 😉

I liked the party but wow they found all that crap and costumes in the store?!

I liked Glenn trying to give everyone a party of their choice and the snow at the end, shut the door, lol.

Loved the Garfield float and hope to see it floating around in the background in future episodes.

A very funny episode!  Every character was just great.  Kudos to the writers on this one!  I actually could have been happy with this as the final episode.

I think you're probably right.  I personally don't think they need to bring Amy back.  Nothing against America Ferrera, I really like her, but as I've said all season, the show is better without Amy.  But, figuring they will bring Amy back, and the wedding would be the perfect plot (although a bit quick since we only have 2 weeks left), here are possible scenarios:

a) Amy shows up, Jonah is there solo (Hannah was supposed to be his date but had to back out at the last minute), and Amy & Jonah end up back together.  (So predictable, and boring I hope the writers do not go there.)

b) Amy shows up, Jonah is there with Hannah, it's left ambiguous with both looking longingly at each other.

c) Amy shows up, is 8 1/2 months pregnant and Jonah is the dad.  They get back together.

d) Amy shows up, is 8 1/2 months pregnant and Jonah is not the dad.  As Amy looks longingly at Jonah, Jonah cries, "oh hell no, not again" and runs as fast as he can in the opposite direction.  Final scene cuts to a "six months later" scene with Jonah sitting on a tropical beach hand in hand with Hannah, who has retired early thanks to her 40% cut of Carol's multimillion dollar settlement with Cloud 9.

I like your pregnancy theories, especially option d 😂

I feel like the lawyer is going to be more of a catalyst to get Jonah to go to school and become a lawyer than a love interest. I like her though.

So given that Mateo and Eric had a lengthy discussion about wanting to get married someday and a wedding is the only way to bring Amy back, I'm guessing the finale will be a quickie wedding to prevent Mateo from getting deported?

I think it'll be a mix of the two where the lawyer inspires Jonah to leave Cloud 9, but Amy's reappearance will make Jonah realize he can't let her go. The lawyer will notice this and bow out gracefully.

OR, a la @chaifan, Jonah will be happy with the lawyer unless and until Amy reveals she's carrying his child, at which point he leaves lawyer on the spot, not because of romantic feelings, but because of his pregnancy kink.

When this show ends, I'll miss Dina's boobs the most.

If jonah and Amy end up together I'll be disappointed.

Not mad.  I'm not that invested in this show and have not watched long enough for that kind of how I met your mother, game of thrones, boy this is f****** awful BS reaction.

But disappointed.  Cant writers think of unique endings?   It's their job after all.  Is the general fandom really dying for those two to end up together?   I've never cared that much about them as a couple

Best props of the season by far between the horrifyingly funny Garfield float and the potato pinata.  I also laughed at Marcus dressed as Cupid.  And of course the raccoon guest stars. ETA: On some level I think salt and vinegar cookies could work.

"I'll put vodka in the punch."  Garrett does know how to get things done.

I'm neutral on the direction of the romantic relationships, but I still very much enjoy the way the platonic characters play off of each other.  When Mateo is not performing for the crowd he seems to be a somewhat nicer person.

Oh, good call!  I think you're going to be right with this one.  Since there's been all this talk about Mateo's monitor coming off, I could see them planning something big, then Mateo getting bad news and them having to do something quick.  (Not sure if that really works in the real world, pretty sure it's much more complicated than that.)

It's definitely more complicated than that in real life. I know people who are married to US citizens, and still couldn't stay in the USA. But it might help that Mateo is essentially a DACA kid, and current events are leaning more in his favor than they were under the previous administration, married or otherwise.

Amy comes back for the wedding.  Jonah and Amy talk awkwardly.  Amy leaves for the airport. Jonah realizes that he needs to tell Amy he loves her before she goes back to California. He goes to the airport, with Glenn and Dina, but doesn't find her. He calls her cell, begging her "Don't get on the plane" Then he goes back to the store, heartbroken.  As he sits there on a couch in housewares, Amy walks over and says, "I didn't get on the plane."

And the writers will think that is original because it happened in a store, not in a NYC apartment.

Yes. Amy will come back & reunite with Jonah!! The show was literally originally going to be called, “The Greatest Love Story Ever Told.” The show was about Amy & Jonah from the beginning so I believe it is the only logical way in which it could end. In this past week’s episode, we saw Ron & Connie (Amy’s parents) for the first time in a long time. We heard mentions of Amy & Parker & for what? Also, we see Eric & Mateo talk about getting engaged to be married! Who would attend that wedding? Amy of course! I mean she’s Eric’s sister, so that’s a definite. Also, considering how they ended things with Amy & Jonah earlier in the season (Cali pt. 2), it was left SO open ended... (She said, "What if I'm making a mistake?" And he said then she'll know where to find him. Sounds like the perfect set-up to me!) & I believe this was entirely intentional so things could be rekindled between them. They both loved each other & neither wanted to actually break up (as we heard Jonah admit in this episode). Amy had every right to be scared of committing to marriage, after her history with Adam. It was just a culmination of things that resulted in a huge mess.... I believe they were destined to be together & that is what we will ultimately see play out in the finale. There is no other way they could do them justice. Everyone is rooting for them.

Not me.

Dina fleeing the Garfield float "hallucination" put me somewhat in mind of that episode where she was obsessed with tracking down the evil-looking Easter bunny. Didn't she end up thinking maybe it wasn't real?
